When I was told I needed an XYZ transfusion (omitting the type of transfusion for my privacy), I became uneasy...even nervous. I pictured rows of "patients" sitting in a chair attached to a tube that is connected to a pole that is pulled around should a frail patient need to relieve their bladder. BUT....whoa! This was like the Business Class on British Airways. They greeted me with matching energy and welcome, telling me a little about the setup while walking me to the refreshment stand - coffee, water, juice, a variety of small snacks - and then asked, "Would you like a private or open room?" Selena was a delight, even coming back at the beginning to ensure I had everything I needed (she is a keeper, AdaptIV). I picked a private room with voice commands for music, volume, fluffy leather recliner chair, etc., and just before leaving, she said, "Would you like a warm blanket?" I felt so cared for and comforted that I wanted more transfusions (lol, not really, but you get the point). Then, the nurse (two days, different nurses, and both OUTSTANDING) explained everything, bringing things that would help me with the discomfort. I was so relaxed I fell asleep. It was nothing like I imagined; it was something I enjoyed. So....kudos to AdaptIV, but more importantly, thank you to Selena and the two nurses who cared for me (ugh, I forget their names); you all made it a lovely experience, and you were all engaging. Our mother was in this facility for a little over 2 months and we could not leave soon enough. She…read moreneeded some extra care and the facility stated they could handle but as soon as mom got in the door and they had our money they suggested 'Hospice Care', this way they could have her there and do as little as possible, which is exactly what happened. A few of the girls were caring and knowledgeable (about 3), but others did not know and/or were not properly trained to handle a peg tube, and other, creating some accidents and unneeded stress among other issues! Outsiders even told us that there were better places and to get out as soon as possible. Management made promises and of course they want to get you in the door but buyer beware, once you are in you better be there just about every day to check in or who knows how your loved one will be handled or treated. They keep surveillance cameras for their benefit but won't allow you to have any - wonder why? Oh, they are nice enough and rapidly made changes and kept our monies instead of acting in a more professional manner after saying might give back if another party moved in. Well the other party was in within the day and no monies were refunded. All in all they are one big smiley face that's not so kind with not so well trained staff for the ones really needing the care. There are many other wonderful places that truly care. We know and have found one now with a night and day difference. So if you are considering this place do not be misled by the presentation - Beware!

They are easy to talk to and are amazing at what they do. I have no complaints with respect to them. I recommend that you call ahead, book your appointments, and arrive a few minutes earlier. If you miss your appointment, they bill you for it, so be mindful of that when booking. My rating is because I had an​ insurance/billing issue that was NOT resolved over the past month that I contacted this office. I called the front desk, was given the number of the office manager, continuously called her and got no response. They did not communicate the correct insurance information after my visit and so I was charged almost $1000 for their mistake. I called to have them rectify the situation (as was directed by the insurance company) and they refused to call me back. Eventually, I got the situation rectified but that experience left a bad taste in my mouth. If they have revamped their office staff then, by all means,​ this is a fabulous group of doctors, but to go through a situation like this with unempathetic office managers it is almost not worth it.
