The barbers are all friendly, welcoming, and take the time to get to know you. I have a recurring appointment every Thursday, and I highly recommend booking one as well. Claudia is my stylist, got her by random once and never left. Not only is she smart and talented but she is super considerate of what I want and doesn't mind extra instructions or questions. I finally find the place and I'm only 2-3 minutes late at this point, but the shop isn't even open yet. 15 minutes after my appointment I ended up leaving. Now a few things - it turns out the barber did text me, but let this be something for consideration for all barbers: text spam is a thing and iPhones have a way to filter out texts that come from people you don't know. I didn't get said text until over an hour past the appointment time. At a minimum you should call, not text, for this reason. Secondly, if you're not going to answer your phone at least have a professional voice mail. Personal branding is not just about the pictures you upload to social media sites showing off your work. It's also about how you present yourself in person and over the phone. This was a poor over-the-phone experience and as a first-time experience with this barbershop, a poor in-person experience.
