As retired seniors, we had been thinking about some small upgrades to our home -- both for esthetic…read moreand personal safety reasons. Our exterior paint had faded significantly over the last 25+ years and looked dull and boring. Inside, the kitchen and bathrooms were well worn from decades of renter abuse when we'd lived out of state, and we'd always worried about the electrical wiring and service capacity of our 1950s-era home. Normally, we ignore solicitors and flyers, but a knock on our door and brief conversation piqued our interests and we agreed to meet with Build Force Remodeling's representative the next day. Honestly, we just wanted to get an idea about how much a new exterior paint job, kitchen and master bathroom remodel might cost and if we could afford it. The following day, we met with Steve Morris and his associate, Benjamin. After showing them our kitchen and bathroom, we discussed several options regarding the scope of work, materials, etc. and finally got a cost estimate. Initially, we balked at the cost due to what we believed were our financial constraints of living on a fixed income. Steve asked about our mortgage and duration of ownership, suggesting that we might be able to refinance our home loan and use our equity to pay for the project with no out-of-pocket expenses. This brightened our outlook, and we then discussed adding a complete electrical rewiring and capacity upgrade. All in all, we determined that the expanded project was "doable", and we signed a contract. Demolition work began immediately and we were impressed with the care they showed handling our furniture and belongings. The exterior painting crew, led by "Francisco", did a fabulous job that included replacing rotted wood, patching broken stucco. We love the new Forest Green color and the "curb appeal" alone is awesome! The interior remodel work was expertly done by "Diego" who's personal attention to craftsmanship, detail, and our customer satisfaction overwhelmed us! "Shay" and his team of electricians made several helpful suggestions to the rewiring work that provided not only greatly improved lighting throughout, but also improved functional access to outlets, identified previously unknown branch circuits, and greatly increased our home's service capacity! My wife and I are thrilled with the end results and wish to recognize and commend the entire Build Force Remodeling team for their help to realize our dreams. Everyone from the project managers, construction craftsmen, office support staff, finance personnel treated us with respect and gave us their personal attention.  Build Force Remodeling has earned our highest recommendation!!

If they respondent had taken the time to read my review, then he would have seen that I cancelled the contract before the work had begun, so there would be no invoice or completed contract in their system. I was very clear and detailed with my review about the details. The HIS (Home Improvement Salesperson) that came to my home was Yael Rosenbaum. I have attached a short text thread from her, after my visit. I also included a screenshot showing that she was unlicensed at the time she came to my house and only got licensed as the result of me filing a claim with the California State Contractors Board. In addition, I have copies of the contract and other paperwork, yet they "have no record of me". More lies. In my initial review, I also included a copy of the letter from the CSLB confirming that BFR had committed violations, so to try and take a stance that you don't know who I am, or have any record of me, is completely nonsensical. Another lie. If this doesn't reinforce to you, what kind of a company they are, then I don't know what will. Do better.

I was totally happy that he completed the project in timely manner and very satisfaction. His price is very competitive with market price and I believe a better price for better work performance. I strongly recommend anyone to try Tile By Vincent and you will not regret to deal with Vincent. We've worked with dozens of contractors and we have always had so much difficulty with communication, the quality of work, and cost estimates that it's been so hard to trust anyone. I was recommended to David and his team after asking the Woodland Hills Facebook group for recommendations for someone to install our porch swing bed. I reached out to several contractors but David was the most responsive, respectful, and he also had fair pricing. He came out with his team and they all did the job efficiently. After the swing bed was installed, we had asked him for his estimates on a stucco planter to match our existing planter in our front yard so we could place another olive tree in and they did a great job. It matches our existing planter perfectly. Our existing planter caused so much headache from the former contractor and it took so much longer to complete. We also asked for a shower door to be installed in our guest bathroom. David selected the door for us, installed it, cleaned up afterwards, and finished within a few hours. He also weatherproofed our front door and even took charges off our balance because he didn't have to use new material. The honesty, ease of communication, professionalism, and the fact that they are okay working around our Australian Shepherd keeps us wanting to reach back out to David and his team. We are both healthcare workers who work long and odd hours and appreciate a hardworking team that we can trust. Thank you guys!!

David is not just a handyman; he's a miracle worker. He single-handedly assembled all of my furniture, hung every TV and piece of art with precision. No task was too big or too small for him. But what truly sets him and his dad apart is their unwavering dedication to excellence and their genuine kindness. They treated my home as if it were their own, handling each task with care and attention to detail. Their professionalism is unmatched, and their warm demeanor made every interaction a pleasure. Not only did they tackle every project with skill and efficiency, but they also went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. They always cleaned up after every project. And whenever something needed fixing, they were there in a heartbeat, ready to lend their expertise. It's not just me who's been blown away by their exceptional service; all of my friends whom I've recommended them to have had the same experience. I can't thank them enough for all they've done to make my house a home. David has now moved on into the construction world and has taken his expertise and perfection to bigger projects. If you're looking for the best of the best, look no further.

Because not much had been updated since our house was built in the 50's, there also turned out to be a lot of other issues including electrical, plumbing and foundation work. I interviewed about 10 contractors before Bryan. His demeanor was entirely different than all the others. I could immediately tell he was a genuine and trustworthy individual, which is extremely important when embarking on such a large project. Thank goodness we hired Bryan, because the scope of work turned out to be so much more involved than we could have imagined. Importantly, unlike a lot of other contractors, Bryan budgets for potential issues rather than providing the lowest price and then proceeding to issue tens of thousands in surprise change orders when problems arise. Bryan and his crew also opened up our kitchen, which was previously closed in by a brick chimney. This was not part of our original scope, but they were still up for the task. I cannot stress enough how much work they put into everything. Bryan was able to handle every challenge we threw at him, and there were a lot. We can feel confident that everything in our house was done correctly with the utmost attention to detail. Since the work was completed I have recommended him to friends and neighbors. They are always happy with his work as well. Going forward, he is the only contractor I trust with our house.
