At 1:30 called to find out where he was, he told me he would arrive around 2:30, at 3:30 he finally arrived. He told me I was the most patient person he had ever met. He seemed too high/stoned to concentrate and kept just pausing and not being able to continue the sentence/conversation. We walked around and discussed what needed to be done. Then when we were finished he asked to use my restroom. He was in there 15 minutes, stunk up my whole house. He didn't even have the courtesy to turn on the fan and shut the door when he exited. He gave me a $4000 estimate, to which I gave a $2000 deposit. He told me he would start work the following week. On Tuesday I called because I had not heard from him in a week. I expressed that it made me uncomfortable that he hadn't called. I asked for a start date or a return of the check. He let me know he hadn't cashed the check yet, and he would start Thursday. I considered canceling with him because I don't like to hire flaky people. He had proved to be unprofessional by not showing up on time or canceling the appointment. I wasted my whole day waiting for this tool to show up and then he just ends up flaking out in the end. On Wednesday I noticed he had deposited my check, I assumed we were good to go. Thursday at 9:30 am he calls to tell me he cant do the job and he will write me a check and bring it by. A great waste of my time and holding up my project. I guess I should be thankful he didn't end up doing the job, it would had been a complete headache. This is an unprofessional shady company, look elsewhere

I talked to this super easy going guy on the phone, told him what I needed (pretty plain & simple) and he gave me a very competitive quote right there on the phone. Showed up when he said he would. Finished when he said he would. Cleaned up before leaving and left a beautiful concrete slab for the price he initially quoted. It's SO hard to find honest people nowadays, but Alan is one of them. I'll definitely be calling him when we need more flat work done.

He told us he's going to make it right and even sent people out to assess the damage and determine what it would take to remove the staining from the ceiling. This dragged on forever; in the meantime, additional rainstorms showed that they had not properly flashed around the skylights. They did fix those issues, including replacing one of the skylights at no cost. But the ceiling issue was never resolved. It dragged on for years, and we tried to be understanding and patient. We heard claims that the insurance company would be involved to help rectify. Nothing came of it, and our texts were soon ignored. The ceilings are still water-stained.

Once I sent him our approved plans, he sent a list of aggressive questions without any context or having bothered to look at our plans. I was ready to give our business to this company, but could not believe how he was interacting with me. I'm sure he expected a man to answer the phone and when it was a woman, he felt that he could speak to me however he pleased. I hope he learns from this experience and treats potential customers with more respect next time.

The 2nd guy stood around. The two electricians were pleasant and professional. From the time they pulled up, to getting back in the truck 45 minutes. Additionally they asked if they could place a sticker on my breaker box to show they were there if there was an inspection. Two plugs cost me $350.00 with my parts. They charged me for both people and $65.00 for the temporary permit. Talk about lack of transparency bordering on dishonest. We are hiring contractors for a remodel, and Cherry City will never be asked for a bid.
