Cubano especial. This is a sandwich!
    Luis C.

Right as we came in we saw some friendly faces from National Cakes Bakery 2, and they all have the same owner now, so that's a great sign. It was quite clean, well lit, had plenty of delicious pastries and cakes, and service was very quick. Had 3 guayaba and cheese pastelitos, a Cubano especial, 2 croquetas de jamón, an empanada, and a large dark cafe con leche. That Cubano was heavy, filled, and amazing. Recommended 100%

Best Puerto Rican bread in Miami. The breakfast is delicious and their pastries are pretty good too. Nothing to complaint about!

Horrible. Dry and burnt pastries. Not fresh. Pan con concreta made with everything they had in the fridge. Not happy. Grossed out.

The line was like 30 mins long in the cold, but it was so worth it for this hot chocolate. They melt a huge marshmallow into the hot chocolate. It was absolutely delicious. Worth the wait. We also tried the the tres leches with the biscoff cookies. My husband pretty much inhaled it. And the churros cubanos always hit. As always love that they play good music and have a place to eat your food by the water!

They are also very kind and patient with the wave of students that come in every morning and afternoon--as a parent I really appreciate this! The management has always been very sweet to my daughter which I am very grateful for. Now let's get to the donuts: amazing variety and super addicting. They have an onsite bakery where you can literally see them being a made from scratch every morning! I usually get the traditional glazed and the avocado toast of I'm trying to be healthy. The decor of the restaurant is super chic and very clean! It's definitely has the vibe of "come in and hang out with us for a while" I definitely plan on making The Salty a staple!

The brioche is incredibly fluffy, and that thick-cut, salty candied bacon on top creates the perfect sweet-and-savory profile. * Guava & Cheese: A total Miami classic. The whipped cream cheese and guava swirl are so nostalgic but elevated. * Boston Cream: Hands down one of the best I've had. The chocolate ganache is rich, and the filling isn't overly sweet--it's just right. * White Chocolate Tres Leches: If you want something decadent, this is it.
