This is one of my favorite places in Poughkeepsie. There is unique drinks that are perfectly sweetened, fun boba topping options, and yummy macarons. I got the Matchata that was super yummy with horchata and coconut creamer and coconut jellies. The only critique would be that I wish the matcha flavor was stronger. Amanda's offers a decent selection of macaron's and a vast selection of bubble teas. The macarons are airy little bites of deliciousness-at least that's what my kids call them! Personally though, I wish there were some offerings with fruit filling rather than cream filling and more tart flavored offerings. The bubble teas are what really draw me. I love both milk teas and fruit teas so there are a lot of selections to choose from... the problem is that the teas are pricey so if I'm paying premium for a drink, I want what I order to be perfect. Unfortunately the tapioca balls (regular boba) aren't what you expect because they are clumped together and gloppy. Sooo, imagine your trying to drink some delicious tea and suddenly the straw is blocked with the boba blob and your forced to either get a new straw or try blowing the blockage out. I thought the boba blob was a one time issue but after three separate tries, the blobs are getting bigger. I don't know if this is a problem with their supplies not being stored properly or if the supplier is the issue. If you decide to try a bubble tea, forgo the tapioca boba and maybe try popping boba (with a fruit tea) instead. read more

This place is just perfect! My usual bubble tea place was closed and I am so happy I came here on a whim. Super cute decor inside. I got the brown sugar bubble tea and it was genuinely the best I've ever had! The macarons are great too. But my favorite part was how incredibly kind the employees were! i am in love with this lil place!!! the macarons are soo yummy and my hubby and i loved the boba tea! we got 2 drinks and a dozen macarons for $45. i saw a complaint about the pricing but i think it's well worth the price :) the place is small but very clean! the atmosphere is very cute and chic, i can definitely imagine the nyc hipsters loving this place. it is in a weird spot with a lot of construction going on rn, but no biggie. we will def come back here again for a nice treat! read more

Wow, simply amazing. First of all, CUSTOMER SERVICE, the lady behind the counter was amazing, super helpful and patient with my indecisiveness, just wonderful! It has been SOOOO long since I have had a macaron that has simply left me speechless. I felt as if I was Violet in Willy Wonka when the bubble gum gave her all these delightful flavors; in something so petite. MINUS turning into a blueberry. The French toast was TO DIE for, literally I was swept away with the butter maple cinnamon flavors melting in my mouth. I have not had a macarons this good since my travels to NYC. Amanda!.. came down from Danbury Connecticut early this Saturday afternoon. We eat, breath and sleep Macarons!. YOUR creations are the best we have EVER tasted. Mango habanero, What a surprise- wasn't expecting that and it is incredible. Spent over $100 to bring some home. This is what I would like to see moving forward. The young girl that waited on us, was not terribly friendly. She wasn't rude but she was not real pleasant. She did make sure to tell us, that the lids to the Macarons were not staying on tightly. With that said, I would offer the customer a Bag for goodness sake to carry them in. As I was struggling to pick them up, I finally said " Do you have a bag". It's a very pretty bag and should be automatically given I guess based on what you're purchasing and how much. Would also be great to see a nice little silver label on that bag Amanda representing yourself and your beautiful creations. 2 stars for the food, 3 stars for the ambiance. The place was adorable and well-decorated for spooky season, as well as having some cute seasonal menu items. The service was good; everything was very nonchalant, so if you like a chill experience with the service, I recommend. I can't speak to the macarons, but I'll assume given the name that they taste good. Went today to get some boba. To preface, I've only ever had boba made by Asian-owned restaurants, so it's always been incredibly authentic. However, I don't think that I should need to preface that because if you're making food from another culture, it should taste just as authentic or you're just not doing it right. As pretty much everyone else here has said, it was sub-par. It was flat, and that's coming from me and three other roommates. The matcha barely tasted like matcha, and the best part was the kiwi bubbles -- probably because they're not made in-house. The peachy mango tasted like water that had sat next to fruit, but the bubbles were the best part -- again, probably because they're not made in-house. The brown sugar boba tasted like sugar water -- emphasis on the water -- but the tapioca tasted good (probably because it wasn't made in-house). I understand that if it's in the name, it's probably the best thing on the menu, but that does not mean that any of your products should be outright disappointing. If it's on the menu, it should be made well. With or without a stir, it just didn't taste right. read more
