Possible fraud alert! My wife and her business partner stopped here for lunch on a trip... Disappointed and concerned. Food was good, but the experience was unsettling. While we were waiting, our server (Brittany) stood behind the counter doing a full face of makeup. Odd, but not a big deal at the time. We finished our meal, paid, and left. About 20 minutes later I received a second attempted charge from the restaurant -- the original charge had already gone through and this duplicate attempt failed due to an incorrect CVV. I assumed it was a mistake and didn't think much of it. Four and a half hours later, after arriving home, my card was suddenly declined. I'm beholden to my wife's insistence on healthier fare when i'm home. Now to the pizza. It wasn't great. It wasn't bad. But it wasn't a "wow this is good" kinda thing. To be honest I think it's the kind of pizza you need to eat at the restaurant. The time things take to get to you usually makes for a slightly skewed outcome. And this was no different. The crust was good on the outside...and as you got closer to the middle it grew soggy, and rubbery. To be expected when delivery pies don't get fully cooked because they expect the food to cook a bit more from being in the box for 15-20 mins of travel. This particular instance neither of our 4 pizzas ordered were consistent across the crust. Insides were cold, mushy, floppy. I will say overall ingredients were good. Cheese was good quality. Well the pizza was good but I ordered 3 slices, one plain, one pepperoni, and one meat lovers slices to go and when I opened the box it looked like they just thru my slices in the box. Like they was playing hoops with my slices. I was a little disappointed with that but they didn't taste bad at all even served lukewarm. The other issue I had was the bathroom. It was a mess and no toilet paper. I just thought they would have a better presentation with everything especially being that a saw the words gourmet somewhere in that restaurant. read more

I'm not one to write reviews, but in this case, I needed to. First off, our amazing server Richard! Super friendly, attentive and treated us like gold. The food? It was delicious. My wife had a 15" Pizza half and half (After Richards suggestion), since she couldn't decide between two of them. She loved both, and would do either again. I had the Penne Pasta Alfredo with meatballs, so creamy, cheesy and just really good. We also had a house salad, the home made Vinaigrette was a winner! Oh man, where do I start. I was surprised by this little hole in the wall pizza and pasta shop in the west valley of Kent, right at the base of the hill off 212th. My wife and I went there with my sister as we were in town for a week. We both had a Doughless pizza that is nothing but sauce, meat and cheese goofed in a shallow glass dish. It was so perfectly done we ended up going back there 2 more times that week before he handed home. The staff was very nice and happy to be of service of our needs. Ordered a large Seattle's Favorite Pizza which is described as: Pizza sauce, artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, chopped garlic, mozzarella and pesto. Baked with mozzarella cheese. My Pizza was missing the sun dried tomatoes and had sausage so I honestly don't even know what they made me. When I went inside to get the pizza, it was dead with a couple of tables of senior citizens and the business had a feeling that it was struggling. Very friendly staff who promptly got me my pizza by the slice. I was in a hurry and that honestly earned them an extra star from me. Now for the pizza. I'm of the opinion that all pizza is good pizza but every type has its time and place. Unfortunately for Amante I had higher hopes for pizza by the slice than they could deliver. I wanted a thinner, NY style crust but got something on the Pizza Hut side of crust thickness. Still pizza, still good but it was more of something I'd want at the end of a night of drinking. I ordered a slice of the meat lovers pizza. It had a really good amount (read: a lot!! yum!) of cheese and enough toppings without making the pizza a greasy mess on top. The bottom of the crust was plenty greasy. I ate the cheese, toppings, and the crispier/less greasy top of the crust edge but ended up throwing most of the crust away. Their menu looks great and I will give their pasta a try in the future but my search for a good slice in South King County continues. read more

This is a decent place for food. Make mistakes regularly, but when they get it right it's good. BUT they appear to be lazy. Business "closes" at 9PM. Won't answer phone after 8:30PM. Drive over and it's 8:50PM and they can't make a pizza because the cook wants to leave & everything is "clean!" I ask if you refuse to cook after 8:30, why don't you "close" at 8:30. Went in for lunch. Ordered a bowl of Alfredo Alfredo pasta and red sauce dish. The Alfredo was expired; waitress asked if everything was okay we explained something was off. She then samples the Alfredo itself and says "that taste like chemicals" We then didn't want the meals any longer. So she took see plates from us. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch sandwich. First time they made it wrong forgot the bacon and added red sauce and red onions. Waiting an extra 15 mins for a new one. It was okay. Ordered the chicken wings (poor quality) Server was nice but on her phone doing nothing only checking on us once I had to walk up to ask for anything. At the end they only offered a free desert and still had to pay 84$ for meals we didn't eat. So I paid for the expired product and no real apology or food taken of the bill. I normally visit once a year for my yearly Kent trip. This time I had a very bad experience. The prices don't match their menus, and the pasta I ordered I only ate a few bites from because it didn't taste fresh and gave me food poisoning within 30 minutes of eating it so all in all a terrible time.
