If I could give Dr. pawar and his staff 10 stars I would! i had a wonderful experience at this office! The front office woman, jessica, was very helpful in finding me an appointment since i work 8-5 monday through friday. She scheduled me an appointment on a friday at 5:30.....that is unheard of in my experience with dental offices. When I arrived, jessica was very pleasant and guided me throuh the registration forms, which were on the computer and were very easy to do. the assistant whos name is also Michelle, came and got me from the front to start on my xrays. I have never had someone take xrays so easily and comfortably. They use those new digital sensors which popped up on the screen right away! it was very cool! Michelle informed me that we would only be taking a couple check up xrays since the doctor doesnt like to expose his patients to any unnecessary radiation and that I wasnt eligible through my insurance for a full mouth xray, and I thought that was awesome because the last office I went to, took a full mouth series when i was not eligible and refused to request the full mouth xrays I just had done at another office, therefore over exposing me just because they didnt want to take the time to request the xrays from the previous office. jessica had checked my eligibility the same morning of my appointment and verified that I was in fact eligible for an exam and cleaning and the smaller bite wing xrays. When Dr. Pawar came in for the exam, he was soooooooo nice and funny and made me laugh multiple times. When addressing my dental concerns, he was very receptive and the treatment he was suggesting was very appropriate for my financial situation. The last office I went to wanted $2400 just for a deep cleaning and "antibiotics" and when I came to Dr. Pawar, he informed me that a mild deep cleaning was appropriate around a couple teeth but there was no need for $2400 worth of antibiotics. he was glad that he could give me that second opinion because it saved me $2400!!!!!!!! Dr. Pawars exam lasted about an hour and a half and was sooooo thourough. He even did an oral cancer screening!!!! He checked my lymph nodes and tmj and his cleaning was the best and most comfotable i have ever had! He treats his staff great too which helped show his true demeanor because it created a very positive and happy environment all around. Other dental offices should model their behavior and professionalism like Dr. Pawar and his staff do. I definitely recommend anyone and their kids go to Dr. pawar because YOU WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF!!!! and I left his office without paying a dime and got a goody bag to take home and a free sonic toothbrush!!!!!!! I love this office and cant wait to bring the rest of my family and friends here!! Some time ago, approximately two years, I had two front crowns detach and having no current dentist I stopped into Dr. Pawar's office in Folsom. I was greeted by a professional staff and after explaining my problem Dr. Pawar asked me into the office for an examination. Short version, Dr. Pawar solved the immediate problem temporarily replacing the crowns and then worked with my insurance company for a full replacement - his work is exceptional as is his professional demeanor. Fast forward to last month; Dr. Pawar discovered some separation in two other crowns and he again worked with me and the insurance company to my complete satisfaction. The temporary fit perfectly, as will the permanent crowns. In all honesty, having spent too much time in "the chair" since I was four years old due to poor teeth, Dr. Pawar is one of the gentlest and caring dentists I have encountered having resided in the Mid-West, East, and West Coasts. Dr. Pawar is the consummate professional and I would recommend him to any and all seeking a new dentist - and it does not hurt that he has a great sense of humor and is always thinking first of the patient, not himself - rare these days! Let me start by saying this was hands down the most comfortable and actually enjoyable visit I've ever had at a dentists office. I used to be a Western Dental patient and treatment there was a horror. I came to here on a referral from a good friend of mine. My appointment was scheduled for 11:40 am and when I arrived I filled out my new patient forms on a computer (which I respect since it reduces paper waste). Immediately after I finished I was taken to the back and given a tour of the office. Michelle, the assistant helping me, was wonderful. She took my x-rays and seated me in the office to wait for Dr. Pawar. He came in and introduced himself then sat down with me to look at my x-rays. He listened to all of my concerns and clearly explained to me what treatment I would need in the future. He gave me all of the facts, even prices and options for payment. I believe the best part of the whole visit was my cleaning. For the first time, my teeth cleaning was painless. A simple cleaning is usually terrible for me, but Dr. Pawar was absolutely flawless. All in all, I WILL be back for all dental work and check ups I need in the future and have already spread the word to family and friends. I haven't been to dentist for about 12 years now because i was always afraid of them. lol. After reading reviews for Dr. Pawar, I decided to check him out. I wen't there on 10/30/12 with my 2 daughters (6 and almost 5 yr. old). We were greeted with a smile. All of us had x-rays done with an ease. My older one had her teeth just cleaned but will need some cavity fillings done soon. My younger one had 2 fillings done that same visit. I really thought she would cry so bad but I was wrong. Dr. Pawar made it so easy and non-painful for her that she didn't even feel when the shot was given to her. He has confidence in what he's doing and he did a great job in cleaning all of our's teeth. The staff was awesome as well. Michelle and another girl (i'm sorry forgot your name :( ) made me and my girls feel very comfortable. This was a stress free visit. Looking forward to see you guys in a week for more cavity fillings done. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. PS: I asked my daughters if they would comeback here again and both of them said yes. Dr. Pawar's office was a great find, its a smaller dental office but puts out the feeling that you will have more personal one on one attention and after being greeted by the staff and being helped it was inevitably true. Dr. Pawar is very straight forward with the treatment necessary and gives you your choice on your course of action without placing any pressure. He also has some of the highest commitment to perfection that I have seen. Even if you are completely happy he will go the extra step to ensure that everything meets his high standards and in my experience my crown that was placed on fit, felt, and was colored perfectly to match my smile. The hygienist was friendly and lively and before I knew it the cleaning was over with no pain at all. All of the staff has been nothing but kind to me and the facility is clean and up to date with their equipment and digital x-rays. I have taken myself and my kids to Dr. Pawar at this point, and feel he has done a great job with every aspect of his dentistry. Dr. Pawar took the the time to explain all dental procedures before and as he did them and seems very adept at his job. We have had issues with some dentists in the past as far as thoroughness and quite frankly, confidence and Dr. Pawar has demonstrated all of that and more. My daughter, who has had a hard time with actually feeling the dental work being performed, said she didnt' even feel the shot he used to number her mouth for the procedure, much less any of the dental work being performed! The staff if very helpful also, and his prices rival anyone's around! I would HIGHLY reccommend Dr. Pawar and his great, attentive staff any day of the week! When I went to Dr. Amar Pawar I had not been to the dentist for a little while and I was a little nervous. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by the staff, and felt welcome. During my intake and x-rays, the staff was polite and explained what they were doing, answering any questions I had. When the Dr. came in, he was professional and put me at ease. He was receptive to what I was saying and did all he could to minimize any discomfort. He also explained any questions I had and went out of his way to make sure I understood everything. I had a severe pain in one of my teeth and i went to Dr.Pawar, he advised me to do root canal and i did that, now i don't have any pain at all. Initially i was afraid to do root canal so i asked many questions regarding that treatment ,to him and his staffs and they cleared all of my doubts before the treatment. Waking one morning to find half of my tooth cracked I quickly went to the Style Saving Guide were I had seen an add about a dentist. I was new to the Folsom area and to my relief, the office was a few miles away. I gave the office a call and within a few hours I had a great temporary. I highly recommend Amar Pawar DDS and his office. He and his staff were extremely helpful and took care of my son. They have Sat appts, have great bedside manners and solved my son's issues. They took time with my son and even did followup calls. Because of him my sons teeth will not end up crooked due to his wisdom teeth. He will have surgery to remove his wisdom teeth.this summer.
