Tribe is warm and welcoming, and I immediately felt right at home. Josie spent a good amount of time consulting with both me, and my husband, on our first visit. I was impressed with her knowledge, and how well she listened. Best cut I've ever seen on hubby, he looks super hot, and I love my cut, too. I have very thick hair, but I also like layering. Josie is a rare find, she has expertise with dry cuts, and uses a special technique with layering that doesn't make the hair thin, or get split ends. Another reason I chose Tribe is their commitment to safer and more natural color products. It doesn't smell like chemicals when you walk in the door, that' s good sign. I'm chemically sensitive, but have no issues with their products. Josie is really good with color matching. My first color treatment was similar to what I've done in the past, and I liked it, but on the next visit wanted something bolder. Her next recommendation was to try violet, and I'm absolutely in love with it! It's fun to work with someone who will truly consult with you, and be open to trying new looks. I stopped by recently to buy hair products, and Josie showed me how to properly use them. Their at-home products are Oribe, same brand as the color line, I believe, and they are luxurious and effective. I'm now able to rock my style for multiple days between washings. I highly recommend Josie, and Tribe Salon, for both men and women. Josie, in particular, has worked in the entertainment industry, and she knows how to give you that extra pizazz, to make you look, and feel, like royalty!

My husband thought it would be a fun treat for our daughter experience and found the perfect event to use it for: school Christmas performance. I exchanged emails with Rosa to set up our appointment and she was very kind to accommodate our request for a 9 year old. She asked for inspirational photos to get an idea of what we wanted beforehand. Luckily it was in our neighborhood, which made it easier to coordinate for the performance day. When confirming, Rosa asked to push our appointment a little later but it still worked out perfectly timing-wise. She had her own private suite for her customers among other stylists in the building. It was comfy with holiday music playing and I got to sit in and watch her do her magic. She was great working with my daughter and understood that she didn't need to overdo the makeup portion. My daughter had a fun experience and felt so special dressed up for her performance. Hoping that we could use Ross for our next special occasion.

I have so much hair and I didn't even realize it. I mean I knew I had a lot of hair but, every cut and style just made me feel like my hair was so flat and had no volume at all, but she did something different and I mean different.
