I don't know why this bagel place has such bad reviews. Of course this place isn't amazing, but for the price, you're getting what you pay for lol. No frills, the bagel themselves are good, not great. I wouldn't say it's a quick grab-and-go spot, as it took quite a bit of time for them to make the bagel egg-cheese-sausage sandwiches. There are plenty of tables inside if you want to dine in, but I will say that there is a heavy fried/oil odor that will definitely stick to your clothes and hair if you stay for too long. read more

Bagels are just okay here. They are small and rather doughy, and I do not believe they are created on site. I think they just get the dough imported from another vender and simply bake them. I know they do not make their own spreads, but at least they are fresh and taste pretty good. The price of the bagels is also pretty cheap, so no complaints there. A simple bagel at a simple price. If you want a better bagel in the area go for Brunswick Bagels. They also serve a pretty tasty bagel twist that is absolutely delicious! But here, simplicity is key, and that is what you get. "Okay Bagel" would be a more accurate name for this unimpressive store on Route 18. Nothing is bad... I did not have a negative experience here...just not much to say about it as nothing stands out. The interior is generic, acceptably clean but no style. The coffee was fair. The bagels were of the quality you would find at a 7-11. They have a sign on the door "wear a mask" I go in to customers being served with no mask on. I said to the guy you don't need a mask he said yes it's required yet they served customers no mask. I have driven past Amazing Bagels for years and for some reason, I just never stopped in. Thanks to my Yelper buddies, I stopped in. What a wonderfully great place to get a delicious quick bite to eat. They have quite an extensive menu, which I have not fully explored and will update this review once I have eaten more from the menu. This review currently pertains to the look, feel and BREAKFAST!!! Breakfast is actually my most favorite meal of the day. When you first enter into the restaurant, you get a feel of a pizzeria.....but it is not. You will generally see a few guys working really hard to get the orders ready and moving the patrons along. The TV is on and you will see a sign straight ahead (towards the rear of the building) to place your orders. You will also see several menus placed on the walls (note: there are paper menus near the cash register). You will also see all of the great food (especially in the morning) the delicious bagels, cream cheese's, breakfast rolls and etc on the counters and the refrigerated cases. So many delicious bagels. This is one of three locations in the Jersey area. While the employees are always very busy, they all seem very nice and are all personable. You can tell that they actually love what they do and want people to enjoy the food that they prepare. The food prices are more than reasonable for the area. My breakfast (pictured: was only $6.50 - tax included). This breakfast was the breakfast platter = two eggs, breakfast potatoes with your choice of a meat along with bread or a bagel of your choice. For me, that is two days worth of breakfast. This means that you can have a really delicious breakfast for only $3.25 per day in Jersey!!!!! That never happens :). Lol Each visit, my food has been consistently prepared and consistently delicious. My most recent breakfast platters has always been prepared as requested. I especially love these AMAZING BAGELS. The name of his place suits the establishment Please note that there IS a minimum charge for credit cards. I believe it is $10.00. Therefore, unless you are getting a lot for breakfast, you should consider bringing cash (hopefully most not spending more than $10.00 for lunch either). Once in a while, I'm craving a bagel and I like heading to this place as I know they have multi-grain bagels. It's located in a tiny strip center on Rt. 18. There are a few tables and seats to enjoy your bagel there. They also serve sandwiches if bagels aren't your thing. Service is usually quick, but don't expect them to be super friendly. They always seem like they're in a rush even when it's not very busy. All in all, a good place to grab a bagel on the go. read more

Yea, I'd call it "not so good" bagel. Really soft, I did a BEC on an everything. They didn't cut the bagel through all the way, so eating it in the car was a hassle. Bagel itself was pretty good. This place could be a 5 star...but the customer service is terrible. When I walked I wasn't greeted, I was the only one in line to order and waited around for a few minutes. The next customer came in and her order was taken immediately. After I was finally noticed there was no apology for being skipped. I jump in line to pay. The cashier is slow and customers were pointing to what they ordered on her screen after they had already said it twice. When it was finally my time to pay she completely glazed over me and started ringing up the guy behind me, then acted like she assumed I was with him. I answered that I wasn't and what I had ordered, she ignored me and rang up the guy behind me. Then finally rang me up after he payed. I work less than 5 minutes away and my coworkers and I order from here constantly and are never disappointed. They offer free delivery, and I'm pretty sure there's no minimum which is crazy! I'm giving this place four stars based on just the bagels! They are THAT good. Wish they were bigger though!! They aren't too doughy, just crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The French toast bagel is the jam, but I've pretty much tried them all and there isn't one I don't like!! They have a bunch of breakfast platters as well as lunch offerings. I've had their wraps and they were good too! The interior could use a face lift, but it's not tragic. Service is a bit slow when it gets busy, but again, not so slow that it becomes a problem. Of course, weekends are really busy, so if you're in a rush, call ahead. I eat in even though the seating area is a but lackluster. It's really convenient for me because I get my nails done right next door and usually get there early, so I get either a bagel or a wrap while I wait. Pretty sure they have delivery as well. Truth be told, this place is a hit or miss when it comes to the service. I've been coming here for 5 years now and the only thing that keeps me coming is the simple fact that they have the best breakfast food in town. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful. I've come to notice however, every time the I go there and there is an older tall gentleman working (predictably the owner), I am over charged and treated like I'm a nuisance rather than with respect that any paying patron deserves. Just yesterday I ordered a bagel with scallion cream cheese and normally pay around $2.50. The guy I previously mentioned was working and I was charged $4.27!!! Not only was I charged almost double, I was shorted $0.25 from my change. I didn't want to hold up the line and confront the man, instead I sucked it up and left respectfully. If they are in desperate need of $2, then they're doing something wrong. Otherwise, every time I come here and that guy isn't there, the food is amazing, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the prices are cheap!
