Went to USPS and was craving for a coffee and bagel. dropped into this place since it was just opposite to USPS . Saw some seats outside and a good amount of seating inside . Service was good . The lady in the counter was smiling and taking orders with a positive attitude . Lots of parking outside . Inside atmosphere was good . Saw lots of bagels and looks like it is made there . Looked fresh . Had a bagel toasted cream cheese and it was good... bagel could have been more toasted but tasted good . Also ordered a Latte coffee .. could have had an extra shot as the latte was more frothy and milky. Billing and service was quick . Good experience overall. Need to try other breakfast and lunch menu sometime . 4 stars

Thanks to Yelp, I found this place and popped in for a bagel. Love how large spacious and clean it was, and everybody working was super friendly. Typical breakfast menu items but they also had some yummy looking grill and lunch options. The scene seemed quite a few locals sitting around at the tables eating, which is always a good sign. I got a toasted poppyseed bagel with lox spread, and the bagel was the perfect amount of chewy to soft ratio.

Pretty good deli for the area I usually order a turkey, egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel the bagel is fresh and chewy The turkeys very good as well. The line to take your order moves fast and so is getting your sandwich. Theres inside and outside seating they usually have the TV going with the local news station going.

Freshly baked bagels and a busy hub for weekends and early mornings, Bagel Pantry is a staple in central jersey for breakfast and coffee. Bagels are always fresh- nice crisp outer layer and chewy inside. They offer a variety of cream cheese ranging from plain, veggie, salmon, strawberry, blueberry, etc. breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches are also offered. Their coffee is rich and bold, and would def not have second thoughts of getting a cup. I've yet to order an espresso drink. Lines move fast and service is fast. There are refrigerated drinks like juice, Gatorade, water, and cream/milk. Seating is limited -about 5 tables- but it is more of a grab-and-go place. We sat down today to eat our breakfast and were comfortable. I wish they would fix the seating area a bit more to be more inviting but it does the job.

I came by to pick-up and ordered a dozen and half of different varieties of bagels. For every six bagels, you get one free. Counter Serving Staff are respectful, friendly and helpful. This place opens at 7 am. When I got in around 8 am, this place was busy. Clean and well lighted dining area and so as their kitchen very visible from their dining area. I will return to try other varieties of their bagels.

Nice local bagel shop & deli to grab a quick bite. The bagels are fresh and plump, and there's a wide variety of bagel types and cream cheeses to choose from. They also serve paninis, which I saw a few people ordering. Food is also quick and satisfying.

So much to choose from. The bagel shop is in a shopping strip, it's hard to notice the bagel shop. It's a little dark inside, but it has plenty of seating for dine in, they have all assortments of bagels to choose from. It's soft, super soft, yet still chewy. It's the perfect bagel, give them a try.

I'm vegetarian and don't eat eggs, so I ordered the Mexican Chilaquiles without egg. They were super helpful and substituted the egg with beans and mushrooms, which I really appreciated. A lot of places will just remove the egg, so it was nice that they actually replaced it with something. The chilaquiles were flavorful and filling. My husband got the Quesadilla Mex with veggies, and it was HUGE! It was thick and stuffed really well. He couldn't even finish it. It came with salsa, sour cream, guacamole, and a small basket of fries. For the price, I think the portions here are really good. I also got the iced Coko Moko Latte with coconut syrup, chocolate, and a shot of espresso. Really liked this one! The coconut and chocolate went surprisingly well together with the coffee. The location is convenient too, close to downtown Metuchen and Whole Foods, and they have their own parking lot, which is always a plus around this area. Good food, good portions, friendly service, and a really nice brunch date overall. We'll definitely be back!

Maria's got a glow-up, y'all!…read more The old spot was cute. It was cozy. It was also... tiny. For a place this popular, finding a table on the weekend felt like winning the lottery. But now? SO much more room to breathe. Maria's moved into the old Latin Port space at 87 Central Ave, and they've been in the new location for about two months now. You can actually walk in, have a seat, and not feel like you've accidentally walked into someone's living room. I popped in today for a quick latte to go and went with a hot Coko Loko (that's latte with coconut syrup and a lil' hint of choc). And just when I thought I was done, I got this little surprise at the end: fresh coconut flakes in the final sips. If you're a coconut person, you'll want to try this one!

He also really enjoyed the seasonal Berry Cloud Fizz beverage. I ordered the chicken scoop that was absolutely delicious. 2 Crispy chicken breasts topped with yummy bacon jam all on top of a delicious Belgium waffle drizzled with maple mustard syrup. It was not drenched in syrup which was great, the perfect amount of sweet and salty. For our appetizers we ordered the cauli tempura with the sauce in the side as our server Mericis suggested after my concern over the spice level; and I'm glad she mentioned it because one dip into the sauce and it was not for me. She joyfully suggested other sauces (garlic mayo, aji verde & chimichurri) that were delicious but the garlic mayo was my fave. We also got the nori roll which is one of our fave apps here. The sauce drizzled on top really takes it to the next level. For drinks I ordered the seasonal dulce plantain pudding latte -- yum! Loved every bit of it, especially that it wasn't overly sweet. Our server, Mericis was great. Always attentive, patient as I tried to figure out what I wanted to try next after coming for my 3rd time, and overall great vibes. She made our experience an amazing one on top of the delicious food and drinks we had. Will definitely return! Also love they have printed menus now!

The restaurant is small and comfy, with 4-seat tables lined up against one wall and the opposite wall being taken up by a counter and counter seats. Pictures of food hang on both walls and four brown ceiling fans hang from the ceiling. The restaurant's color scheme is very "latte", as the main colors are white and beige and only one part of the wall is red. Daughter ordered the fried flounder with 2 over easy eggs and grits with wheat bread. She said that the fish was nicely fried and crunchy. It didn't need tartar or cocktail sauce. She said it was her first time eating a breakfast item like this and her taste buds had never felt this sensation before. LOL. Hubs ordered the pinto con chorizo with sunny side up eggs. The server warned him that the sausage was spicy, but he didn't care. When we came here, Hubs didn't expect Hispanic food for brunch and was so surprised and so happy. He found the first item that he can see and translate and was happy he did. The chorizo had a nice spunk to it. He was happy that he got rice and beans instead of home fries and what a delightful change! The chips were also nice and crispy. Lastly, I had waffles with mixed fruit. I LOVED my waffles because it was nice and crunchy. The mixed fruit were bananas, strawberries, grapes and blueberries. They were a nice touch. I was asked if I wanted whipped cream and I said yes. Coffee was freshly brewed and it was nice and strong. It wasn't ordinary diner coffee. Hubs was happy about getting his cup refilled. Service was fast and really friendly. The waiter was always smiling. Parking is street parking. When we were there, it was free parking. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy, though. We were thinking of checking out the flea market across the street but changed our minds. Glad we got to try this place! Maybe one day, we'll be back.
