Quoted me $300 from airport to Novi area which is 5 times more than the others have quoted me. What a joke!

Took an Amazing Blue Taxi on a longer distance trip three years ago and was a good experience. Figured I would call to book a trip from Ann Arbor to DTW (airport). Something went incredibly wrong with this company. The Dispatcher is incredibly rude and must hate his job. I called around 3:26 PM and started to speak, the phone got disconnected so I figured my call got dropped (although I had full service). Called again, got the dispatcher, started to speak he talked incredibly fast and hung up again saying you're going in and out or something again that's why I hung up the first time. What an idiotic way to do business. Could you at least apologize and say I can't hear you clearly please try again or something of the likes instead of hanging up within 10 seconds of a conversation and not saying anything? Honestly, this dispatcher was so rude/stupid that I decided to make a Yelp account and give this company a bad rating. Thanks dude! read more

Really awesome experience. Had to go to the airport from Ann Arbor, so I booked an Amazing blue taxi. On time and courteous service. While returning, had to book from outside the US, so the online reservation option was really useful. Again, on time even though it was an international flight and we had to go to immigration and customs. The driver was holding a placard with our name on it! At $50 per ride, it is one of the cheapest options too. Definitely recommend! read more

For as long as I've lived in Ann Arbor, I've used Amazing Blue Taxi when friends were unavailable for airport runs. In general, I was very happy with their services. Drivers were quite pleasant and punctual, and reliable no matter how far in advance I made the reservation. Sadly, things seem to have deteriorated over at Amazing Blue Taxi. New management? Drivers on strike? Rabid bats attacking their office or cars? The cause of the problem is unclear. Here is a brief summary of my last three experiences, which have gotten progressively worse: 1. Driver was 20 minutes late for a morning pick-up, no apology for lateness. Got to the airport in time, so totally excusable. 2. Lost my reservation for scheduled a scheduled pick-up at DTW, had to wait an hour at the airport. Again, excusable, it happens, right? 3. The last one, which was completely unacceptable: when I called at 6:20 am to check that my 6:15 taxi was on the way, the driver was still at the airport, would not be at my place for a half hour, and did not call to let me know. He was totally unapologetic. Luckily, I had a car available, the cost differential with parking was minimal, and I was being reimbursed. But seriously: stranded twice in a row? Look elsewhere for reliable airport taxi service. read more

I usually use Custom Transit (which is wonderful) but they were booked up for Christmas morning so I decided to give these guys a shot. I had the unfortunate experience of speaking with one of Amazing Blue Taxi's representatives earlier today. I called simply to inquire if they had any reservations open for a local taxi on Christmas morning. I politely asked if I could reserve a taxi and the man on the other end gruffly responded "no, we can't do it". So I responded with another inquiry "should I call in the morning, or is it just that you are completely full?". He almost yelled his nasty response, "no, we can't get you a taxi, it's Christmas for cab drivers too!". oh em gee! really? If this is what you can expect from an innocent telephone inquiry, I can't imagine what it would be like getting "service" from this company. No thanks, I'll pass. read more

Absolutely awful customer service. Phoned this morning at 6:50 am and asked for a taxi to Metro Airport. The millennial dispatcher says "we don't have taxis." I respond "can I get a car, please." She hangs up on me. If your company is named Amazing Blue Taxi and your website is amazingbluetaxi.com, you have taxis. I don't appreciate major attitude from a dispatcher at 7 am on a Sunday morning after a weekend bender, when I'm simply trying to give you business. read more

Avoid this company at all costs.. Driver had a attitude (Rob) saying he was calling me when I was still on the plane.. then argued with my wife and left us at the airport with a six year old. Called owner and he told me "their are plenty of cabs at the airport I suggest you catch one" NEVER Again will I use this awful place and I'm making sure everyone I know does not use it. Try Arbor Limo who treated me like a king. The only reason this place got one star is because I could not gave them a zero.. Driver was RUDE to the bone. read more

Well Blue Taxi in Fort Myer's Florida charges like a flat rate of $29 from my house to getting to Regal cinema stadium 20 even to Dick's sporting Goods would I want to pay $29 each time heck no whom ever is a business owner to Blue taxi company in the USA or in Florida is dumb for raising prices to be to high for anyone why would someone want to ride with them ya right they need to offer discounts and even lowering there prices and not being high to anyone whom lives in the USA . Doesn't seem fair . American disability . Steven Barone . Everyone deserves to ride a taxi that is less expensive to ride and not be paying a taxi person a lot of money . read more

I called for a driver to pick me up. Driver picked me up pretty promptly, drove me to my requested destination quickly and without incident. Overall was a decent experience... ...until I checked my credit card statement and found that the driver had wrote himself in a 40% tip without my authorization. Obviously this is all sorts of unacceptable, and management would do nothing to remedy the situation. Do not use. read more

The ONLY reason I gave this company one star is because I was required to. I was over charged and called to report this, encountered a rude man (Jeff, who calls himself a manager), and now instead of them providing adequate customer service to rectify the situation I have to and WILL be calling the transportation authority. Horrible unsatisfactory service and I hope they realize there are plenty of places that will gladly take the customers they continually lose with poor customer service. read more

I don't plan to ever use this service again. Called to make a reservation for a pick up at the train station but wasn't allowed to because so many people were making reservations. "Just jump in a cab that's free" I was told. That would work fine, except when the drivers arrived, they didn't just let anybody in their cab...using some magic formula that wasn't communicated or explained, they picked certain people to get in their cab and left others to wait - even if you were the first one to approach them when the pulled up. Multiple thumbs down to this taxi company. The dispatch person was very rude on the phone when I booked the cab. The cab picked us up late and had a bad odor smelling like a mixture of smoke, gas, and BO. The driver was rude, too. Never again, Amazing Blue Taxi! read more

I was surprised to see the negative reviews as we had a great experience with this company this past weekend. Visiting Ann Arbor for a family event, we took taxis everywhere and used Amazing Blue for all trips. They came very promptly, never got us lost, dispatchers were courteous and helpful. I was shocked to see the negative reviews on this website. Amazing Blue is an excellent cab company--the best I've worked with. I've had to rely on them for several trips a week for the past few months and at first I was dreading taking a cab. I was concerned I would be arriving late to work or stranded somewhere out in Michigan. Amazing Blue has come a few minutes early 99% of the time, and the other 1% of the time has called me to say "I'm running 10-15 minutes late." They have never run late for my am trips to work. I absolutely recommend this company and I am surprised about the negative reviews. I guess people with a negative experience are more likely to post reviews than those w a positive experience? Anyhow, I do not recommend ABC cab--they're always late, dispatchers are rude/cavalier about your reservation, and 2/3 of the time they have entered my address incorrectly and the driver says "Oh. I can't GPS this. Are you able to guide us to your address?" Go w amazing blue. read more

Great service. Professional and prompt. I had an early morning flight and asked to be picked up at 4:30 AM. The driver was at my house at 4:15 allowing us to leave early. Will definitely use Amazing Blue Taxi again! read more

I called to make a reservation to be picked up at the Amtrak station, but when I was connected to the dispatcher, he informed me that this company does not accept reservations from the train station because the trains and buses are often late. I would have at least given the company three stars if they had stopped there, but instead, the dispatcher decided to lie and say that there was a cab stand at the Amtrak station and that "9 times out of 10" there would be several cabs waiting there. There was no such stand and there were no taxis waiting. Avoid amazing blue taxi whenever possible! read more

Terrible company. I tried to book a cab on line and they took over two days to get back to me. They finally got back to me after I sent a second email. No one was at the airport when I arrived and when I called them they said only one person handles reservations, he was on the phone and would be for quite a while... I am very disappointed in my experience. I expected an easy ride back to campus when I arrived at the airport, but could not locate any cabs. I took to google and amazing blue taxi came up in my search. I called to schedule a cab and the woman berated me for not calling in advance. While I tried to ask if I could schedule a cab amd wait she just continued to explain that they were based in Ann Arbor. I finally hung up and easily scheduled a cab with someone more friendly. read more
