Yep, you heard right! Like the warm, flannel Pendleton that ensures warmth and security, Pendleton gives you his precious time in a timeless way. A good listener is the key to advocating for your own health. He gets it!!! Recently, had a prescription filled and it came back generic. The generic scip is not equal to the brand. PERIOD! He returned my call and we talked. He made it happen. I don't know about you, but one of the best things in life is to have an excellent Pharmacist. He is King! Go see him!!!

She answered any and all of my questions and provided me with a few donated containers for my purchase. So far, the star of this visit are the scented lotion and hand wash. Can't recall the name. But they are pricier than the other products. I don't care at all. I LOVE the scent. As a matter of fact, I'm going in this weekend for some more of the hand soap. I have it in my bathroom (foaming pump) and my kitchen (regular hand soap pump). I also diluted it to use as a shower gel. YES, doggone it!!! I'm kinda addicted! This is one of those places that you should actually do a personal field trip to. It will change your life. Believe it. Highly, highly recommended! UPDATE: I went back in for more hand soap concentrate and some retinol serum. By the way, soap and lotion brand name is "Further". Alyssa assisted me and she is an absolute DOLL. I…read morehad enough disappointment at CVS and decided to transfer my Rx to this Walgreens on Carson St in Lakewood. None of the clerks I interacted with seemed to have much experience. I went in once to initiate the transfer, and a second time four hours later to check the transfer status, make sure they had my contact and insurance info correct, and learn the medicine was on order for the next day (because they didn't bother to update me). Sure enough though, despite having all the info in front of their face, the techs/pharmacist managed to botch the insurance and drug company copay assistance processing. So when I went in to pick up my Rx, they had to reprocess it. The bottom line is they are just as uncaring and incompetent as CVS was. Next refill I will be transferring to another pharmacy until I find a good one. I would recommend to anyone to stay away from this pharmacy for at least 6 months to a year from when this review is posted to give them time to hit rock bottom and re-staff this location with a better people. In the meantime, it's just not worth the frustration of being dependent on employees who are not interested in doing their job.

I approached the interaction with a friendly attitude and treated the pharmacy technician with respect from the start. As someone with a college degree and several years of customer service experience, I understand that not every day is easy and that customer-facing jobs can be challenging. However, there is never an excuse for treating customers with the level of disrespect that I experienced. From the beginning, I was met with an unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and unprofessional attitude. Instead of offering basic courtesy and assistance, the technician was confrontational, careless, and showed no concern for how she was speaking to a customer. What was most shocking was her complete lack of remorse. When I expressed my concern, she casually displayed her badge information as if she was completely unbothered by the possibility of a complaint. That level of indifference makes me question whether this is a recurring issue. If this is how customers are routinely treated, it reflects very poorly on Walgreens and its commitment to customer care. Customer service matters, especially in a healthcare setting where patients may already be dealing with stressful or sensitive situations. Based on this interaction, it is clear that this employee would benefit from additional customer service training and coaching on professional communication. No customer should be made to feel unwelcome or disrespected when seeking assistance with their prescriptions. As a result of this experience, I will be transferring my family's prescriptions elsewhere. I am extremely disappointed and sincerely hope management addresses this issue before more customers have a similar experience.
