I've been intermittently seeing Rocky for her services for at least 7 years now and couldn't say enough good things about her. She will never hesitate to give you tips and advice for how to take care of your skin at home, even if the advice is for how to care for it when taking a break from her services due to budget. That being said, for the experience, quality of service and all, her prices are fabulous! She also hasn't changed the prices at all over my years with her, if I recall correctly. She is so helpful at handling whatever flare-ups I'm having, and uses quality products. Her space is very clean and she is to keep everything sanitary. She is warm & kind, is great to chat with some of the best stories, but she also knows when it's time to let silence take over and let her customers relax. I have raved in a previous review about Rocky's infinite skincare knowledge. I have returned to re-review Rocky and her instinctive ability to deliver customized skincare. Recently, I have been experiencing the "joys" of adult acne. The maddening approach I took to address the acne was visiting skincare counters. Big mistake, "HUGE" mistake! When I went down the rabbit hole of retail skincare purchases, my skin suffered major trauma. At one point, I had chemical burns from products that had ambiguous instructions or were not meant for my skin, period. When I returned to Rocky with my battle scars, she nursed my skin back to health and instructed me to see a dermatologist to help identify and manage my acne flair ups. The moral of this story is don't stray from a true Jedi Master of Skincare, like Rocky, or you will end up like Darth Vader, hiding behind a mask of make-up or beard. read more

I gave my mom a Mother's Day surprise of a facial and she absolutely loved it and Rocky! As it was her first time ever to have such a relaxing and rejuvenating facial given to her, she gave a Mother's Day hug to Rocky afterward as we were leaving cause she was so thankful :) First of all, my mom's not from Houston and she works every day except Sunday so I looked for the best place for a facial I could give my mother and stumbled across Rocky's facial and spa website. She looked reputable from all the 5-star ratings on Yelp and she also had 40 (!) years of experience in this field so I knew right then and there that I wanted her and her only to touch my dear mother's face. BUT I noticed that Rocky didn't take any customers Sunday so I emailed her explaining our situation to Rocky. She replied back to my email like an hour later saying that she would love to give my mom a facial on Mother's Day! *BIG HAPPY SMILE* The process was ever so delightful and peaceful to my mother who deserved a good rest. I'm from out of town (NYC) and i was just looking to try dermaplaning for the first time while I'm here in Houston for work. I was surprised to find this gem 7 minutes from where I'm staying downtown & met Rocky!!! She was incredibly kind, knowledgable, and I trusted her completely since she's been doing this for 20+ years. I did a dermaplaning with microdermabrasion and extractions. She also gave me a boost of Vitamin C & oxygen at the very end to kill bacteria. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely spa in the back of a hair salon!! Whether you are looking for a specific skincare treatment or just a relaxing 1 - 2 hour escape, you've found the right place! Rocky is an amazing esthetician who excels at her craft and just an overall great person. She's very friendly, kind, and upfront...which made me comfortable immediately after first meeting her. Her prices are also very reasonable, which is pleasantly surprising given her level of expertise and experience. I've tried the Nirvana and microdermabrasion facials, both of which I highly recommend. I was a little hesitant with the microderm since I've never had it done, but am so I glad I tried it! You really do see (and feel) the benefits immediately. After suffering from a 3-month outbreak of stress-induced acne, I was desperate for a remedy! Was so glad I found Linda and her little spa. 3 days after getting the Nirvana facial, my skin has completely cleared up! I have sensitive skin and have had bad experiences with extractions. But Linda was incredibly gentle and after the first day of redness, all of my spots healed and disappeared. The treatment room is in the back area of a salon, but don't let that fool you! It's completely quiet and calming. Linda truly makes the effort to let you have a complete experience with the facial including aromatherapy, back and neck massage, foot scrub and massage, and she even changes up the music throughout according to what she's doing. What upset me the most is that the lady on the phone accused me of being wrong, and did not try to help me. Then she hung up on me and never called back so I called back and tell her that I have the emails confirming the appointment, so she then told me she was going to figure it out and call back. When she called back she lies saying the phone was hacked instead of being honest and admitting that they forgot to book me. I have to move appointments to make this work and I had an even coming up that is why I booked 2 weeks in advance, so I got aggravated and hung up because she did not try to make things right.
