The director of payroll was so nasty to me that I had to hang up the phone and leave this review!!! I have no idea how this agency is still up and running! They literally send your timesheets to you days late close to deadline and blame you for submitting them after!!! When you call to correct THEIR errors,you will be met with a very bad attitude coming from a woman who answers once you're connected!! Guess what?! You will be told that you submitted the timesheets on wrong and that you have to wait for the following week to get paid!! Now as an employee whose had this happen to me ever since I have worked there should have the right to be frustrated! The director protects the mistakes of his department instead of trying to fix the situation and leaves the employee with no pay from the last week! I have been with this company since the end of August 2022 as a patient . The managers dont return calls the aides rarely speak english and have attitudes or dont show up and then you have nobody and are left alone with no replacement. and should not be in the business of caring for people both aides and managers/ Jovana (ext #165 ) and Izzy (ext # 180) managers that dont return calls. Amazing Home Care, there are not enough words in the dictionary to describe how helpful, patience, kind, caring this agency is. Coordinators and Aids are kind, attentive , patient, caring to the Elderly. They take their responsibilities above and beyond their daily task. My family and I feel at ease knowing my mom is being well taken care, this allows us to go about our own daily responsibilities. This company is not recommend. My aunt has been with them for 3 months and they left her alone for two days in a row repeatably and are unable to provide weekend home aids. They are very sweet on the phone and will lie to you telling you that someone will show up and no ones does. Then when you call them that no one shows up they have no replacement for someone who calls out or does not show up. I was told that they don't pay extra for weekend work as other agencies do. I have gone through Centers plan and Catholic Charities for help and Amazing could not care less that they complained to them also about leaving alone an 89 year old woman. They also provided an Home Aid in the beginning who just stopped showing up for my aunt and left her alone for a week and just stopped working and took off. They couldn't provide a replacement for the longest time after. If you need home health care for a love one, I would look elsewhere. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! When doing business with this company you must have a LOT of time to waste and you must exercise an extreme amount of patience. Amazing Home Care is the epitome of a MAGA company. It is not concerned about the welfare of the patients at all. It is only concerned about making money off of the patients. I've watched my family members grow frustrated to the point of raising their blood pressure in an attempt to get services to which they are entitled. It's terrible to see seniors being treated this way. I have to call upwards of seven times before I can get anyone on the phone AND I have to leave several messages!!! Do NOT ever expect to get a return call because you'll die waiting!!! There's also a huge personnel turnover so expect to have your documents lost or they will be left on the previous employee's desk and no current employee will ever think to look there so instead they'll tell you that your documents were not received. OUTRAGEOUS!!!! These are all factual examples. Lastly, the Aides have to assist the clients with their personal needs which is an Infection Control matter so they MUST use gloves. Well this ridiculous company AHC expects the Aides to visit the office as needed so that they can pick up a BAGGIE FULL OF GLOVES for them to perform their duties!!!!! How FOOLISH IS THAT!!!! This is the most amazingly awful home care agency imaginable. If you're lucky you might get someone mildly pleasant, but 97% of the employees range from shockingly lazy and truly stupid to rude, clueless and wasteful. They spend most of their time watching television and talking on their cell phones; they are inattentive, inappropriate and uncaring. They largely lack the most basic skills such as how to use a stove or a potato peeler (we had one who used it upside down)--one even announced to my father when he inquired about his dinner that she "doesn't like to cook". They leave refrigerators open, lie and serve prepared take-out food very high in sodium to a man on a low-sodium diet, risking his very life; are unable to complete a simple assignment to go out and buy whole milk --one man was gone for 45 minutes and returned with potato chips for himself, and no milk at all, saying he "couldn't find any". Many don't even know enough to refrigerate food, leaving it out to spoil. Their habits are unsanitary, their attitudes lazy and obnoxious, I know I am leaving out many many hair-raising examples. If you have any regard for the person requiring home care, stay as far away from these people as possible. read more
