I just left this place after paying for a full set. My lashes look like a child did them. They are crooked and terrible, the worst lashes I've had in years. I've been doing lashes for years, from classics to full volume, terrible service. She didn't clean them of use a bonder or anything to seal them. At this point I'm canceling my membership with this company. This manager should be terminated, she rather put the blamed on the client that has been a member over 5 years than to admit my service was terrible. I want to make it clear that the staff at this location were polite and hardworking -- my issue is solely with the management Megan. The manager was unprofessional, dismissive, and made what should have been a simple situation unnecessarily difficult. Instead of leading by example or supporting their team, they created tension and confusion. It's disappointing to see good employees working under poor leadership. I'll share my story. I have been a loyal customer of amazing lash for about four years. I go every two weeks and unfortunately this is the last time bc of my birthday plans I had to go on a different day so the manager recommended a stylist on Sundays. I took her recommendation and I went to get my lashes done by this new stylist which I have no problem with but unfortunately, my lashes did not last because two days later I have a huge gap on one eye. I had to get this fixed as my birthday trip was in 2 days. I call amazing lash to voice my concerns and asked the manager Megan if I can come in to get my lashes fixed. She was rude and condescending, and tried to flip the blame on to me, but I come every 2 weeks so there should be no reason why I have a massive gap but she dismissed me and booked me for an available Friday spot. As I was in panic for my birthday trip I jumped on it and let her rudeness slide. I show up Friday thinking that I was going to just come in and get the gap fixed and go. Instead, I received a mini fill and THEN was charged for the service. I find this to be so misleading as she never explained to me that she was going to book me for a service since my request was to get the gap fixed. And mind you she recommended the stylist. I explained to her that I was not coming in to get a service. I did not want to be fuller. I wanted to get fixed what was not right and she completely dismissed me and I find that to be so disrespectful. She also tried to make me feel as if I was trying to get some type of free service out of them. I have spent a lot of money there in the last four years and I do not appreciate being treated this way therefore I have canceled my membership and will take my business elsewhere. Hi Chris, I have reached out to the studio on multiple occasions, so has the better business bureau and they have failed to resolve the issue to date. Again if the "contract" states they only stay valid for 6 months all 13 of my credits wouldn't have been available and that should have been communicated when I requested to freeze my account in august of 2021, freeze- NOT CANCEL- however I was able to use 10 of my 13 credits that I paid for and AFTER my last service, upon check out, I was notified the other 3 couldn't be found ....after weeks of trying to resolve this I was then told they expired. Again I shouldn't have been able to use the 10 others if y'all were going to stand behind your "contract " and expiration dates. I would like to use the 3 credits I paid for . Please provide valid contact information for someone who can resolve the issue as again the studio was unable to. After seeing a promotion for first full set of lashes, I jumped on the opportunity. I was able to make an appointment for the next day. ALS communicated well and I had a great experience from start to finish. I told my lash technician I wanted something natural and she gave me recommendations based on my eye shape and lash preferences. The music playing in the room was calm and quiet and lulled me right to sleep. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I wanted to update this. The manager or owner of the salon did reach out to me and let me know that the $20 charge was an error on their end, and that I would be credited. She was super nice and apologetic about it. So for my actual review, I'll upgrade to 3 stars. While my lashes did look good, despite taking EVERY precaution and listening to every instruction the tech said, almost every single lash had fallen out by a week and a half, which was highly unfortunate. There's no way you could get to even two weeks without needing a major fill, let alone up to 4. I do also think that the rooms themselves needs some major updating. The website says "where you'll lay on a comfortable, cushioned massage table, draped under a cozy velour blanket". The table was not a massage table, it was more like the type of table in a doctor's office and in fact you lay on the same paper that they do use and just rip off for each patient in a clinical office. I also never received a velour blanket, and in general there was not a relaxing spa vibe at all and the rooms seemed a little run down. read more

Honestly my review is entirely shape from my most recent experience. Every other encounter I've had with staff has been great (admittedly, I've had three encounters in total) had my lashes done Saturday. Loved them . They looked great. When I woke up the next morning, so many had fallen off. I called and they were able to get me in that Sunday for an adjustment. She finished. They looked good, not as full as they were the day before, but I did not complain. I really admire the candor of the stylist who did my adjustment. She told me that she did what she could in the allotted time, but that I should talk to the front about getting another adjustment because I should not have had that much loss. She didn't have to say anything, but she did and I really am glad she did because I knew they weren't as full as the day before, but I was about done with all Amazing Lash Franchises (for reasons not having to do with this location). When I got to the front, everyone was not only accommodating but transparent. They said that my notes showed that I had makeup on and it made it hard to stick, but this was never mentioned to me and The front never told me to wash my lashes. I was 30 min early so I know it wasn't because I was late. I didn't say anything bc I figured this location does it for you. Amazing lash recognized this was the case and also looked on my file and saw that my history was good and that the lash loss was unusual based on my record. Alex at the front said she'd talk to leadership and get back to me tomorrow. I honestly did not expect a call back, but not only did she call back, but she sent a follow up text and told me that I could come in this week. I scheduled an appointment and the following morning even got a call from someone asking if I needed an adjustment or full set- that they were willing to do that since I've had major loss in eye lashes. That level of customer service is unlike I've ever experienced, and for the first time had me reconsidering my decision to cancel my AL membership. Unfortunately I had a client emergency and couldn't make it so o called to give the heads up and rescheduled for today, which I was reluctant to do because it's very hard for me to leave work before 8 during the week, and I didn't want to take advantage or for granted by asking for an adjustment but his weekend, so I was trying to honor the 3 day rule. I had my appointment today at 6:50 I texted on my way to let them know I'm on my way. I got there at 6:54. No one was at the front, so I grabbed a jolly rancher and sat down to wait . Front desk employee came back at 6:59 and then told me because I was over 5 minutes late the stylist left, which I couldn't believe because I didn't see anyone walk out that door. Even if that was true, doesn't SOP and common courtesy say that AL call the customer first to alert them to the fact that they will have to reschedule? The sign says if you are 15 minutes late you'll be charged and appointment cancelled. I suppose you treat adjustments differently since you do not charge the client for that service and therefore reap no financial gain from performing the service. Still, I thought it was understood that businesses who invest in building client relationships are more likely to see a substantial return on their investment through client retention and referrals. I suppose what shocks me the most was that I was told the stylist left at 6:55. Watching the clock. I also think it's interesting because the stylist who did my full set Saturday rushed out after my appointment when I was paying. My appointment was at 4:30, I got called in at 4:34 and was out by 5:41PM. I hate to complain because, in truth, I loved my lashes Saturday. So, going back to your question, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I hope it changes bc I think everyone is nice, but am really taken back by what just happened. read more

I just had my lash extensions installed for the first time this past Saturday June 24th 2017 at the Arboretum location and the young lady who did the installation was wonderful. She did a great job and my lashes look fabulous but my eye was scratched during the process. I went to the eye doctor today, Monday June 26th, to have it looked at because it was causing me a lot of pain and the doctor confirmed that it was indeed scratched and would need to be treated to stop an infection that started from the scratched area. I called the studio to let them know that happened, everyone was friendly and respectful but no one wanted to see the damage that was done, speak to the young lady who did the service and possibly train her for future patrons, or reimburse me for the $100 that I had to spend on my eye doctor visit and medicated eye drops that came from it. I understand that these things happen from time to time. I signed many waivers and what not before the extensions were installed, but no one seemed to care that their employees could possibly be doing damage to their clientele and there was no mention of a refund or credit of any kind AT ALL. Haley said " Oh I'm sorry this happened....." nothing else. Needless to say, I will no be returning here nor to any other establishments to ever get this done again. I just don't know what to think about this place. While the prices are cheap compared to other lash studios, I feel like the talent, or rather lack there of, and lash quality it much too expensive for the prices both member and non members. The first time I got them they looked terrible. I went and got them fixed for free but they still looked bad, sparse, some hanging low and not completely from corner to corner. The third pic depicts that. I tried a few ladies in the three months I was there and, even the so-called master stylists and I've only had on satisfied fill, depicted in the second pic. However, they glue multiple synthesis to one natural lash which come on, everyone knows that's a big no no. They do this every time I get s fill which leaves lids and lashes feeling pulled and painful. They also don't wait for glue to dry or something g Bc I always have multiple lashes glued together with natural and synthetic ones in a big clumped mess. I finally gave in and got a membership and realized that one feee fill wasn't going to cut it when the lashes fall out constantly. I find lashes everywhere despite taking the best care I can. Right now my left eye has so much more than my right I feel and look ridiculous. I finally cancelled my membership bc I finally got tired of being constantly disappointed. I was told that Bc I had t given a months warning that I would be charged again which is kind of silly to be told when I really can't cancel my first months membership a month in advance lol I was told that I would have two credits to spend Bc I hadn't used one credit my first month of becoming a member, which wasn't by choice but Bc one of the lash techs sucked and did a mini fill even though I clearly needed a full fill. I ended up having. To pay for the mini fill. So I used the one credit for the first month membership and when I tried to schedule to use my second credit I was told I didn't have any. I tried to explain what had happened and what I had been told and thought they were a little bitchy, mostly the manager, about it. I was finally able to Log on to my back account and saw that they actually hadn't charged me for another month which was why I ended up not having a credit for so that was cool Bc I had preferred to not have pay another month when I didn't want their service any longer. The manger told me supposedly i wasn't changed bc it was just being nice To me it was only fair since I couldn't cancel a month in advance my first month. Makes zero sense. All in all avoid this place. Quality is poor as are the stylists. I'm scared to see what a mess my natural lashes look after these dreadful extensions fall out completely. I had no complaints during or after my visit, and I've received so many compliments. Kim really listened to my specific need and the end result was exactly what I wanted. I have returned twice since then and received service from Kim and Taylor. And again, both times produced consistent results. Did my eyelashes today and I absolutely love them. I have never gotten them done before and this was a great first experience. They got me in quickly and I had no wait time before my appt. one thing I will suggest is to NOT drink a whole juice before, because these appointments can take 2hours for a full set, I had to pee so bad by the end. Love the result! Update: I did have a few issues with extensions being glued to multiple natural eyelashes. Which left me with small gaps when they shed. I called another salon and they said it is improper to glue one extensions to 3 natural lashes, so either they weren't brushed out enough at the end or it was done improperly. I no longer have any of the extensions in as they have shed out (about 4 weeks) and I am left with short thin eyelashes. My natural lashes were long and thick so this scared me. But everyone I have spoken to said to give them a break and that they will grow back. I still loved the look right after getting them done! Just did not like that it pulled out clumps of eyelashes later on. I have not decided if I will get my eyelashes done again or not. read more

I've been visiting amazing lash studio since September 2015 for my birthday and ever since then I have not stopped. I absolutely love my lashes. Once you get used to them, they don't feel like they are even there anymore. You must learn how to take good care of them so that they don't fall out- you can mess it up if you don't. I wish I could give less stars. The lashes at this franchise are fine - worth the money? No, but fine. The billing practices though are a true nightmare. First, you are billed $59.99 monthly but you need to fill your lashes every 2-3 weeks so this membership doesn't even maintain your lashes. You have to purchase an additional refill $59 or mini fill (only within 10 days of your last fill) for $30ish. Also, this seems to be solely determined by how long it takes to fill your lashes and the relative time from your last appointment. In simple terms, these lashes run about $90 per month in reality. If you need to pause or cancel your membership you can only do so by emailing the branch you signed up at AND expect a two week turn around just for a reply AND they have a 30 day cancellation policy which I don't remember signing for when I signed up. So they will get another $60-$120 out of you while claiming you can use those credits EXCEPT when you try to use them they don't let you because you cancelled your membership. If you're super unlucky like me they will give some of your credits to another customer because they don't verify your identity when checking out - they just ask for a name. Then when you say but I didn't get a fill on that day they'll act confused and claim to look into it but never will! No matter how many times or people you explain this to. All in all, I've lost at minimum $120 and my sanity. Also, I warned them I would tell the world via review about this ridiculous practice of ripping people off by continually charging them and giving away credits if they couldn't resolve it. First off in foremost I wanted to say I absolutely loved my eyelashes! As soon as I walked into the door I was greeted by Zahira and Lauren. They made me feel extremely comfortable and we're super nice! I then proceeded to Mithun manager Megan, she was very friendly and attentive and the whole shop looked very clean! I was given product to remove my make up with which didn't even burn my eyes. I then had the pleasure to have Crystal take care of my eyelashes for the first time. I was a little bit nervous going in there because I don't like things near my eyes but she did add phenomenal job explaining exactly what she was doing. I would recommend the shop to anyone! Getting my lashes done is the one thing I absolutely love to do! About a year ago I decided to get my lashes done. And it was the best decision I could have done. I thought that it wouldn't work at first (do to the fact that I rub my eyes a lot and have allergies), but I can go about 3 weeks before coming back for a fill :) which is very good. I absolutely love my stylist Sara!!! I can walk in after months of not getting my lashes done and she can remember exactly what she needs to do to make my lashes look full. The service I received was mediocre at best, but the lashes initially looked nice. 4 DAYS later and ALL of the lashes had already fallen out. Note, lash extensions are meant to last ~3 weeks before a refill. When I called to complain, the owner offered to comp a refill (which would only cover part of the cost since I needed to start with a new full set once again). Upon showing up for this appointment, I was informed that my appointment had been canceled and they had nobody to see me. I received no phone call or notice. How have I survived all these years without the Amazing Lash Studio?!?! I recently had my first appointment for a full set of Lash Extensions and could not be happier with the results! I had been wanting to try this out for a couple of years now, but every place I found had ridiculous pricing, so I never went through with it. However, I saw Amazing Lash Studio opened up just down the street from my home and was extremely excited to try them out because of their $79.99 promotion. I walked in late one night (after they had already closed) and spoke with the owner about what to expect, how to take care of them, etc. She was so nice and had me sold, so I booked an appointment for the following week to have them applied before a wedding I would be attending. I came in for an evening appointment with Felicia, and she did a fabulous job. Never have my eyelashes looked more full or long. They were stunning! Felicia was extremely meticulous making sure they would be absolutely perfect. And she made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Keep in mind though, your first set can take upwards of 2.5 - 3 hours. But I've been back for a mini session as well which was much faster. I've signed up for the monthly membership, because I am officially addicted. It's only $45.99 per month which includes a refill each month. This is the best pricing I have seen anywhere. The studio is really beautiful, the staff extremely sweet, and they've got the best pricing in Austin for lash extensions. I have received so many compliments from my girlfriends and even random strangers I encounter. What more can a girl ask for? Turned in paper work and a few moments later my lash tech came out, didn't even greet me by name or introduce herself just asked if I was getting a full set. Fine. She tells me which lashes I can receive, I asked her opinion because I genuinely didn't know and wanted to make sure I was receiving the best lash extensions for my eye shape. I ended up picking the 'sexy' style and was dissatisfied with the end result. As I was attempting to explain to my lash tech I didn't like how long the edges were compared to the inner lash, granted I still don't know this woman's name because she had never introduced herself in the first place, she bickers at me saying this is what I asked for. Fine. I tried getting a professional opinion in the first place and was responded with uncertainty so of course I just guessed if my lash tech knows just as less as me. Didn't walk me out after service was over. Front desk girls again looked at me like I didn't belong there, didn't ask if I wanted to rebook, didn't recommend any after care product which I was willing to purchase, didn't tell me how much they were charging, just asked if the card on file was ok then finished off my 'spa experience' by telling me good night. Gave an extra star because my lash tech only took 40 minutes but am honestly now worried how long my lashes will last since they tell you to block out at least two hours for your first appointment :( do I return or look for a different lash service? Crystal is the best and is so meticulous about getting every eyelash in it's place! I originally had my first set done in Houston, and the technician glued some of my eyelashes together...Crystal immediately went to work to correct the mistake and make my eyelashes look incredible!! There are a few girls that seem unhappy at the front desk, but the other ones that are cheerful and engaging, make up for the other grumpy ones! My first time there and waking out my eyelashes looked fabulous! I know they fall out, but mine fell out so fast. Today is Monday and I went on a Thursday late afternoon and one of my eyes is so thin compared to the other eye. I'm actually kind of embarrassed. Beautiful place, nice employees, and affordable. But I guess it's true, you get what you spend. Mine were $79 and I gave a $20 tip. But not happy with my results at all! 10-27-15 The owner reached out to me, I just got done getting them fixed by Felicia, and they look 10x better! I am now completely satisfied. First time receiving extensions and it was a great experience. Lash artist called me right on time, super clean environment, asked me what I was looking for and was super nice. Lashes look wonderful! The background music was on point and I just about fell asleep because the process was so soothing. Highly recommend. read more

The experience with this lash studio was below my expectations in a number of areas. 1. BAD QUALITY The first set of lash extensions fell off within 5 days. I naively went back to the studio for a fill "paid for" and the employee notified me that the glue this salon uses was "awful and didn't work." The second set fell off within 10 days. (Oddly, this tech was the only reason I tried it again and the only reason I didn't give this place 1 star.) 2. INCONSISTENT COMMUNICATION I specifically requested an experienced tech and the front desk assured me that my tech had been working there for over a year, however when I met the tech she mentioned she had only been there a few months. I am not sure why they told me something that was so easily disproved? 3. RUDE STAFF The final experience came when I called to re-schedule my appointment. Given the COVID situation, one would surmise that appointment cancellations and reschedules would be taken on a case-by-case basis given that health concerns should be a top priority in a business like this. Unfortunately, that is not the service I received. The employee I spoke to on the phone was needlessly rude in his communication of the policy to charge customers 1/2 of the service for all cancellations within 24hours. He did not ask any questions and seemed defensive from start. When I explained that I literally scheduled my appointment the prior afternoon, and it hadn't even been 24 hours since it was booked, that his request was impossible. His tone was unempathetic and extremely lacking in professionalism. I tried to call the owner to give her feedback regarding my experience, however no one answered or returned my call. read more
