I am completely dissatisfied with my experience here! I was referred here by a friend and was really looking forward to getting my lashes done for an upcoming vacation. One the day of my appointment the young lady that performed my service was about 15 minutes late and did not even offer an apology. As a result this made me late for an appointment I had scheduled after this. After the first day I had MAJOR issues with the lashes falling out! Within a matter of 3-5 day the majority of the lashes had fallen out. By day 6 my friend that referred me here saw my lashes and commented on how terrible they looked and asked who performed the service. She suggested I give the lash studio a call. I called and spoke to the receptionist (Nina). I explained to her my issue with the lashes falling out. She looked up my information and agreed that the lashes should not have fallen out so soon. She stated it had now been 7 days since my appointment and that at this point I could pay $40.00 to come in for a touch up service. I was not happy with the fact that the lashes has fallen out so soon and therefore did not want to invest an additional $40.00. She stated that if I had come in with in 3 days they would have fixed them for no additional charge. Seeing as how I was out of town on vacation this was not a possibility for me. I then asked if I could speak to a manager. Nina took down my phone number and assured me a manager would call me back. It has now been over a week and I have yet to receive a call from the manager. Not only am I unhappy with the service here, I am even more disappointed at the lack of customer service! I am so glad they did not talk me into buying a month membership package! I have worn lashes before and never had a problem with the lashes falling out like this. I followed all the aftercare instructions and this problem should not have occurred. I always try to give companies a chance to make things right but as I previously stated I never got a call back from the manager. I paid a total of $105 (tip included) for a set of lashes that looked horrible within a week and would NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone! read more

Overall I would recommend Amazing Lash in Lincoln Park mostly because all of the stylists and receptionists are extremely professional, friendly, and make you feel comfortable. They do a great job at guiding you through the process and finding which style, length, etc you would like and would look best on you. I have had the membership since they opened and the only downfall to this place I would say is that at times the membership is not very fair. The reason I say this is because the membership price I signed up for at 59.99 includes a refill and member prices. However, if you are like me and are not always able to come in for a refill I tend to get a new full set every month. They say that you are able to get the full set at the member price which is about $90, but they use two refills if you have credit on your account. I don't find this fair at all as two refills amounts to $120. If I'm going to be a member that comes in every month I don't see why they technically charge you more for being a member. I can go to other salons that charge around $120 that have more styles and curls. read more

I'm constantly getting complimented on my eyelashes and I have Amazing Eyelash Studio to thank for their amazing service. From the time you walk into the salon to the time you leave you just feel like you've had the most relaxing time. The salon setting is very posh chic, staff couldn't be any more amiable and no matter what stylist I've gotten my lashes always obtain the same wow factor results. The membership in my opinion is more than reasonable for the service and experience they are providing their customers with. I find myself going once a week for refill/touch up because of the membership prices being so affordable. Lashes last about 2-3 weeks but because I run a lot I just like the option of being able to walk into Amazing Lash Studio for a quick weekly touch up especially come time for the weekend ;-) read more

I was admittedly hesitant about getting eyelash extensions before I came to Amazing Lash in Lincoln Park. I've heard horror stories about lash extensions, but have always wanted to try them out because of their dramatic effect. I've been to Amazing Lash Studio in Lincoln Park twice now and each time, they make me feel like a Disney princess whose pure and gentle spirit has enticed delicate, mascara-free butterflies to live on my face. The estheticians here are super knowledgeable and made me extremely comfortable throughout my entire experience. They recommended lashes of the appropriate weight and length for my natural lashes for my first time to help me get adjusted to having extensions in, before allowing me to go for the drama in my following appointment. They were also super knowledgable about how to take care of my lashes so they last as long as possible in between refills. I already look forward to my appointment each time I come back, and I have to say I'm absolutely addicted now! Protip - make sure to come makeup free for easy application. read more

Studio space is clean and professional, nice staff that walks you through what you want your lashes to look like. However, the product used the most are cheap synthetic lashes. I've had a half set of synthetic lashes before from another place and they did not feel like these. These felt thick with a plastic-y feel. The feeling of the glue was the worst. I had multiple real lashes stuck to one extension, small globs of crusty glue, and then one lash wasn't even glued right it was sticking out like it was put on sideways. They looked nice when I left and felt fine, but once the glue dried, they were a disaster. (I followed all care instructions FYI). The lashes drove me crazy. It felt like I had globs of mascara I couldn't get rid of. I just removed them myself with olive oil. Such a relief. No thanks. Need higher quality synthetic product and better/less glue. I know they are out there. read more

I've been getting my lashes done now for 4-5 months, and they look amazing. I can finally be seen without any makeup! Their staff is very courteous, and their owner, Janelle is also very great; she has the best customer service. So first you have to request an appointment online, which takes over 24 hours to hear back from anyone and of course they don't have the preferred time or date you chose, so I'm not sure what the point of that step is. Then I was scheduled a week out, just for another receptionist to get me in in 2 days. Mind you this was for a special occasion so I was looking to go asap. Then they call me the day of and tell me my appt is cancelled, they can't do it anymore. So I missed my lashes being done for my event. They then pick a 3rd date and I'm 100% positive i was given the wrong time because I had in my gmail calendar my apt was at 8 and at 7 I get a call about their policy (never heard of from the 5 different people that called me) and my card is charged and can't get rescheduled for a new appointment again without paying another $100. You guys aren't transparent and i was very disappointment with the communication of your appointments and canceling me. read more

This was the first time getting my eye lashes professionally done (I've done strips and individual lashes though plenty of times myself). First off the place is super cute!! Just a little bonus when you are pampering yourself I guess. The technician was very polite and I could tell she knew what she was doing. I nearly fell asleep during my session because I was so relaxed. I love having longer eyelashes. I also like how there are different options you can choose from in terms of style and length. Update to my Review.... the owner actually reached out to me saying that she would be in touch under a private message and that there were circumstances that should have been explained to me regarding the reason lashes may come out. It's been more than a week since she said that. I have not heard from her. I went to another lash Salon, was serviced by a licensed esthetician who educated me on the lashes, the do's and don'ts and how long I should wear before removing. My lashes look amazing!!! No hard feelings toward Amazing Lash Studio. Every experience does not fit everyone. I'm known to be a loyal customer so for me good service and accountability is not too much to ask. read more

As a first time customer I was nervous about getting eyelash extensions but I'm so glad I did! They were very friendly there & I even had an issue with parking. Their website said free parking in the garage and when I was ready to leave it charged me $18 so I called them & they quickly resolved the matter refunding the cost of parking... Great customer service! I get compliments all the time and they've lasted so long (about 4 weeks now). I'm going back for a fill in... Best part was they had next day availability unlike other places that you have to schedule 1-2 weeks ahead. Hoping that's still the case!! read more

Ive came to Amazing Lash Studio for a couple times now and i love the results of the eyelash extensions , how ever i am rating it a 3 because of poor staff. Once i was done with my appointment i asked one of the staff members in the front desk if it was okay if i used the restroom and her answer was "YEA" , i disregarded the way she answered back and just asked where they were and she replied " IN THE BACK", paying the most minimal attention to me. Which by the way is not helpful at all since most rooms in the back are all similar. Once i was done as i was walking out i told the same girl to have a nice day , and she jut looked at me and completely IGNORED me. I honestly had more manners than she did , and i was not the one working there. I really hate rude staff members especially when you are being nice towards them. A staff member especially working in the front should at-least have a friendly attitude to make clients feel welcomed. read more

I've been going to Amazing Lash in Lincoln Park for about 4 months now and couldn't speak more highly of It. The front desk is always super accommodating and helpful. I have been seeing Madison recently, who is one of the lash stylists. Although her title is a Junior Lash Stylist which is the first level of the three (There's Junior, Senior, and Master)- that title does not come close to describing how truly great she is at what she does. She is extremely detail oriented and careful, and always goes above and beyond to make my lashes look beautiful and natural. With that being said, her technique and advice on how to care for your lashes has resulted in me only needing to come in for a fill every three weeks. I went in to catch the $79 special. And was the worst decision I could've made. Synthetic lashes are used and that wasn't explained prior to the installation. Which was very disappointing because I would've never paid $80 for synthetic. Also, two weeks after the install, I was completely lashless. NOT ONE LASH WAS ON MY EYELID! I later called in to let them know of my experience and the manager told me that there was an eyelash Kit that I should've purchased. (That's was never mentioned) And, also gave me instructions that I should've gotten on upkeep as washing them with a special solution and brushing twice a day. I received nothing! So basically I was set up for failure. There was nothing she could do for me at all! A full set of minx lashes should last AT LEAST 3-4 weeks before you will need a fill in. And, Not completely gone by then. A waste of $80. Will never be back! And will not recommend! Save your money. read more

This is my first time getting lashes done and was a bit nervous about the procedure. However, from the moment I walked in I was welcomed and put at ease. My stylist was Mariah and she was wonderful. She was patient and took the time to listen to what I was envisioning and what I wanted to get away from. I explained it was my first time so I pretty much let her make the decisions after I explained my expectations. I was not disappointed. She was great! The procedure was fast and she was so gentle at times it didn't even feel like she was doing anything ( which she was). I am so happy with the way my eyelashes turned out! After Lash I went to Ulta to pickup some stuff and 2 people complimented me about my eyelashes ( that has never happened before).
