I normally get my lashes filled by one of my old friends, however, she was on maternity leave during my birthday week, so I decided to get a fill here on July 22. To start, they charged me for a full set which costs $110.00, when I should have been charged for a fill. This "full set" came out nearly completely within a week and a half. This is absolutely unheard of for me, as my fills last three, sometimes FOUR weeks! I went in to the store today to try to make this right, and was given ample excuses as to why this is "normal" and should happen. I'm sorry, but that is completely untrue. No one should have to pay $175.00 to amazing lash for their full set to last the NORMAL three to four weeks. Will be contacting my bank about this purchase. Don't ever go here, they are clearly money focused, and do not care to keep customers. So glad I have my friend to go to, so I don't have to rely on this unreliable company. This is the second time, I have went to Amazing Lash Studio and I cannot see any difference in my lashes. They are a bit darker from the tint, but not lifted at all. I went in here to get my lashes done for the first time. The receptionists and the person who did my eyelashes were nice. However my big problem is, is that on the website it brings up things you should expect for your first time visit and first lash set and none of them were fulfilled. Consultation was non existent. I love amazing lash studio, and everyone here is so kind and professional and it's the most affordable place out there for this service. The first glance of walking in you know the place is well maintained. I usually get the natural look and I honestly don't remember the last time I felt I needed to wear makeup, these lashes last about a month and even then sometimes I'm hesitant to go in because I think they can be pushed a little more but do to the fact lashes grow and towards that point it's harder to brush them all straight up. I've been getting my lashes done through ALS for about a year and half.... Mainly coming to this location. I have a membership and usually get a fill every 2-3 weeks. I've had some really good techs, some not so much. Recently I went to get a fill on 7/22, prior to that 7/7. I had the same lash tech both times (I think I've had her 3-4 times). Whenever she does my lashes I notice they fall out sooner (I usually wait 48 hours before first wash, use the lash wash sold by the company, and brush them multiple times a day). This most recent time I has been the worst, after my first time getting them wet both eyes had 4-5 lashes come out (way more than usual, most of the time 1-2 total will come out in the shower). Every time I brush at least one lash comes out (usually that doesn't happen everytime I brush). It has been less than 1 week and my right eye would require a full set while my left is still decently full (again it's been less than a week so I imagine it should be). I usually sleep on my left, and that's the side that usually has more lashes fall out. I haven't done anything different from the last 1.5 years as far as maintenance goes so I think it is the tech. Her name is Grace. I have schedule an appt on Monday with a different tech. It's just unfortunate that I paid for these fills to not enjoy them. I believe in giving people chances and I usually take whatever tech is available (big reason I like to come to this company because there's always availability) but if I'm spending my hard earned money, I expect quality. I know there are master stylists but I've been paying the membership, I don't believe I should have to spend more money to get good quality lashes. I'm hoping the tech I have Monday does better. I believe I've had her one time before and was happy with my lashes. I just wish all of their techs were consistent. Lashes are expensive and I expect the same quality every time. read more

My mom and I went here for the first time, a few days ago and we got the volume 3D lashes. On my mom I thought it looked amazing, but for me, I was expecting them to be thicker. Granted my mom's eyes are smaller so I understand and expected that it would look different on each of us. But I was a little disappointed because for the price difference, I was expecting the lashes to look more full and volumous. I honestly think the classic lashes have more definition. But regardless the technician did a good job and was sweet! I would've hoped for a little bit more dialogue and education on the products and upkeep or even on the consultation but she was very pleasant. By the end of the night, I noticed that the lash in the inner corner was detached but didn't completely fall off and some other lashes looked "loose" so I called to see if this was normal, since I wasn't very familiar with what to expect but they accommodated me and I was able to go in 2 days later to have a correction done. So originally I would've left a 4 star review, but what made this place a 5 star rating- was Tamica! She helped me with the correction and went over and beyond in explaining the difference between the 3D lashes and the classic lashes and really educated me on upkeep, expectations and even the different looks. After that follow up, I felt as though I fully understood what to expect and how to pick the look that I would really like for the future. read more

I went several times and had ok results. Then my eyes became allergic to the glue. Then tried hypo allergenic glue the lashes were gone in 8 days!!!! Then switched to another glue my eyes sealed shut! Had a death in family and forgot to cancel membership. So I had 130 dollars of credit built up which was useless because the lashes I'm not allergic to fall off in days. So went in to cancel only to find out their going to take another 70 dollars from me!!!! They tell me I'm welcome to come use the credits. If I could use the lashes I wouldn't have cancelled!!!! So I'm out over 200 dollars and they didn't even acknowledge or suggest that they could keep the 130 they already had and not charge me again! Then after you write a review the manager comes on and acts like they try to resolve issues which they don't! Just don't buy the membership it's not worth how much they take in the end. read more

I honestly wouldn't even waste my money here , I paid $89 for the gorgeous set , after two days my lashes start to all come off and I know they say your lashes fall off with your real lashes .. in my case my lashes are there and the fake lashes are falling out of no where , I keep them clean and I make sure to brush them out ... but the staff is really nice but I won't be coming back and also the look isn't even full .. they push you to pay extra to get the 6D for more full look .. I didn't have a positive experience there. The front desk girl was really off putting and rude. There was a mistake with my phone number, so they couldn't get ahold of me to confirm my appointment. When I got there she told me that I would have to get a new set because they don't carry the kind of lashes I already had on, and she had given my 3:30pm appointment away. That's all frustrating, but it would have been much better received if the girl helping me had a better attitude. She was just unpleasant and apathetic, like I was bothering her. this was so disappointing. I had a lash lift and tint. There was no consultation to really explain what was happening. She didn't discuss rod sizes with me so I suggested a smaller so that I could have more lift and she said it was possible but that they dont let her at this lash place. so she had to use the large one for my longer lashes. So there was barely a lift in the end. There was glue EVERYWHERE I had it all in my lashes all over my kids it was tremendously sloppy. She told me to go to the bathroom and clean up after which is very irritating after an expensive service. It's been 2 days and there is still glue in my lashes. I have also had a lot fall out from it as well. Which is super upsetting. The technician also told me to use castor oil after to get glue off of my lashes which I was explicitly told Not to use when I made the appointment so I didn't... it was very confusing and I should have mentioned it there but I figured I would google the after care bc my confidence in the team was non existent at this point. all in all such a waste of money and it seems the techs really need some training. I've also been to all the studio locations in Chicago and have been worked with many different stylist but this is the first time I've ever had a male stylist do my lashes. At first I was slightly skeptical but ladies,! Let me tell you, David is a master of his craft. He is the ONLY certified stylist to do Russian volumes. If you usually get the 6D volume lashes you will be amazed at what David can do with the Russian volume style. Super Dramatic, and very precise work. And he perfects the job Every, Single, Time! My mom and I got our eyelash extensions done for the very first time November 24th we took care of them like they have told us to do. By that Sunday the 28th all of them had fallen of. What I like is the difference having new long lashes accenting your eyes. I never have to wear mascara and they look great. What I dislike is they claim that the lashes should last three weeks and I'm lucky if they last one week. They fall out and twist and go every direction. And trust me I take care of them carefully....using cool water and their recommended soap. I gently brush them etc.. So for the money plus $20 recommended tip it is not very cost effective when they only look good for a week. read more

I have a monthly membership that I signed up with at the Geneva location (which is great too) I recently came here for a 30 minute touch up and a week or two later for a refill. I HIGHLY recommend Danielle. I've been to both studios and have been helped by a few different girls. Usually I go with whoever has availability. Danielle was knowledgeable and conversational but it wasn't forced and she did a great job on my 6D lashes. I'll be requesting her next time I go in.
