I went to see Lisa for the first time, last evening, for a fill-in, since I already had lash extensions. I was mildly concerned when I learned that she used silk lashes, as my only experience thus far, has been with mink. I decided to proceed anyway. Not long into the process, she requested permission to remove the lashes that I had, because they "were messy"! She very gently, and very meticulously proceeded, and despite taking two hours to remove old and apply new, she charged me the equivalence of the "fill-in" price. It is only day one, so I can't speak to the durability and longevity of the lashes, but I love the way they look, completely enjoyed the experience and loved meeting Lisa. I came to Lisa's Eyelash Extensions for a touch up after normally getting my lashes done in New York while I lived there for the summer. Great experience and I love my eyelashes! Lisa was very accommodating with the touch up, even with my previous extensions from a different location and explained everything to my clearly. The whole process while she was doing my eyelashes was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. It took a little under an hour and a half and as a few days has passed since I went to her, my eyelashes still look great and not many have fallen out. Lisa did my eyelashes for my cousin's wedding 3.5 weeks ago. She gave me the full volume set and at first I felt like everyone would notice I had huge eyelashes but because I wear glasses they were perfect. Lisa knew my eyes would stand out with the volume set and they did. They felt so light. I got complimented on my eyes very frequently. 3.5 weeks later some of my eyelashes have shed but it looks as if I never lost any, it looks like I have the classical set now. The other places I've been to made the lashes cross over, so they look messy (which I know is bound to happen, but it shouldn't happen right after they're applied, right?). Lisa did a great job. This was my first eyelash extension treatment. It took 2 hours and it was very relaxing. You can't wear mascara on these so I just wanted to pass this on. You really don't need to but I'm a big mascara person. I will go back for a fill and use a thicker last next time to see if it helps me feel better as a big mascara person. read more
