I just went and got my lashes done with Kim at this amazing lash location and she was absolutely great! I've gone to go get lash extensiones from several other places, and for some reason my eyes always seem to get irritated. This was not the case with Kim. She did her job, and she did it well. Red Flag #1 If I could give zero stars I would. Since day one, I found it very difficult to schedule an appointment with this location. I submitted required on website but never, ever would receive a return call or confirmation. So one day I just walked in the store, and immediately I was asked if I had an appointment. I told them I had scheduled numerous appts but never got a call back. So, receptionist provided me with an appointment. Red Flag #2 The day of my appointment I was both excited and a little nervous. Before I could get through the door, a customer was talking with manager about her appointment she had scheduled but now she was being informed she did not have an appointment. I should have left then, but trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. A decision I now regret. Red Flag #3 I scheduled an appointment for Monday on the website. I selected two of the times listed. Unfortunately, no one called me back to confirm nor send email. So, I called en route to me appoint, but the recept could not find my appointment. She asked me how did I make the appointment? I told her from the Pearland website, then she put in on hold for over 15 mins. I called back thinking they forgot about me. She answered the phone all happy and energetic, Thank you for calling Amazing Lash How can I help you? I informed her I was the same lady she had placed on hold earlier and needed to confirm my appointment. You think the issue was resolved, no..... she put in on hold again. I called back again and before she could put me on hold I told her I would be cancelling my membership, submitting a report to the BBB and the Texas Attorney General's office, and my bank. Please avoid this company/location. It seems they go out of their way to get "new customers" but do not value clients paying 59.99 month for NO SERVICES rendered. I will be seeking another company, that is reliable and respects their clients. read more

Bought some lashes for my girlfriend and she loves them. She said staff was friendly and the store was really nice. She looks great as well!

I went there over 3 weeks ago and I was very disappointed. First, they were not consistent with their charges. It was my first time to avail of their service, they charged me extra $20 for a master stylist who did not even care how I will look like after. I mentioned to her I wear eyeglasses, first time having lashes done and I had no clue what to expect. She told me I didn't have to use a mascara if I do the thick one so I agreed. Having mentioned I wear eyeglasses she still used long lashes on me and thick. I was partly to be blamed since I agreed with the long (no clue being my first time). But based on my facial features, she should have known long and thick won't fit me. OMG, she used a sz 20 long and thick. I felt horrible after. I don't know why she is considered a master stylist. Being one, you should be after how your customers look like after, not make them look like Annabel, the scary doll from a scary movie. My 2 friends who had their lashes done the following day were not charged extra for the master stylist. No clue why, they had both Livi and Mikaela. I prefer not to disclose my stylist. Anyway, I had to have it redone the following day since my family didn't like the way I looked. They charged me a removal fee plus the fee for the lashes even if I was not happy with it. This place is horrible. Just don't do it... The management is the worse I have seen in a long time. It's unfortunate that the stylists have to suffer from the lack of training from the front desk staff and the Managment. Beware that they will charge your card for services that you will not receive and refuse to credit it back to you. They have a bogus contract, which is not customer friendly and contains many loopholes to scam the customer... Be careful and always check your account. They need to bring back the old manager because Dominique is running this business into the ground. It would be so much better if the stylist could book their own customers. At the end of the day, if I have to go through the front desk staff and the poor management to get to my stylist I will take my money elsewhere. read more

I thought lake Jackson amazing lash was the worst amazing lash but boy was i wrong !! I drive over an hour to this studio and had amazing service for months . This last time was the worst lashes I have ever received and the front desk girl was the most unprofessional sales clerk ever. The manager was condescending and patronizing. They did wave my "volume" fee as there was NOTHING VOLUME about these lashes . Biggest disappointment ever. The manager stated she didn't know what to tell me and could help me today but I was able to come back and have them redone!! Amazing Lash Studio seemingly offers the perfect remedy to any lash lover's dream: an automatic draft for lash services! Although it may not be applicable to all locations, Shadowcreek's location is plagued with "Master" lash artists who could truly use more training (or just not be paid more for being considered a "Master") & an "Office Manager" who lacks simple customer service tact. Additionally, no one in this location can effectively explain the subscription & how it actually works. I'm no franchise owner, but lacking the ability to explain what would keep my business plan in motion seems that it might be detrimental to one's business. Lindsey is rude & doesn't like being corrected. I made an appointment 3 weeks ago & when I called to confirm the time yesterday, I was told that the appointment was made for the following month. As a "Twice as amazing" subscriber, clearly, I wouldn't go 6 weeks between lash appointments. When I requested a call from the office manager, she called fast-talking about the computer glitching. When I told her that what I really needed was an apology for the inconvenience, she told me that I was difficult & wouldn't be able to be serviced at the location anymore. Honestly, I hadn't planned on returning. They aren't even worth the money, I just wanted to alert consumers of all of their faulty business practices. I never go so far to ask for their corporate number, for I never thinks it's really worth it or necessary, but I did after this happened. About 7months ago I made an online appointment to amazing studio lashes on shepherd street since that one at the time was the closest to me, their website HAS the option to book appointments online. On the day of my appointment I called to confirm it and IF I was to be bare face (makeup less) during my session since this was my first time I've ever done my lashes I didn't know (I was VERY excited -_____- ) anyways when I called and asked, the lady tells me I have no appointment I explained to her that I did bc I booked through their online website, she then questions me on why I used their online booking site, and that it "never works right" " next time"that "I should call". After She told me that I was upset, 1. Why the hell do you even have the option on booking an appoint. online? 2. Why is she scolding me ? I asked for the manager in charge and she passed the phone to another girl, I explained what was going on yet again -_- , and how upset I was since their next available appointment wasn't till next week, after I explained she didn't seem like she was the manager to me, I asked her are you the manager she says no the manager won't be there till tomorrow. I asked for her work number and she gave it to me, I left a voicemail since she didn't pick up, by the next day I received a voicemail from her, very apologetic, asking for my email and that I would receive a discount for the next appointment. I had accepted the apology but never received the discount she claimed she sent twice on my email. -_- very shady customer service that I just had to let go of. anyways they recently made a location right where I live in pearland. It was amazing (so I thought) . I made an appointment for me and my sister on a Monday, thinking it would be better customer service this time (I CALLED this time) I had to ask for that day off since I had to work with my sisters crazy schedule, on the day of our appointment we received a call letting us know that we had to reschedule since the "girl didn't show up to work" I then realized I'm just having the worse luck in getting my lashes done I never rescheduled bc I was just sick of the whole thing. This was about 2 months ago. Now flash forward to a week ago, my mom has very short lashes and asked me to book an appointment for her on her day off, so I did hoping she'd have better luck than me, I called ahead, a week ahead, made the appointment, received a txt msg the day before the appointment confirming it which I did, the day of the appointment I received a call saying the "girl who was going to be the lash stylist had to RESCHEDULE" I was just at awe. -_____- I called this morning, asking to speak to a Manager, sure enough she's not there, I asked for corporates number, & the lady tells me "well they only like us to give out their email" I have never received this type of horrible customer service. I frequent multiple locations due to work. It takes me all over town. So I have to fit in refills where I can. I love the fact that my favorite lash studio is expanding so rapidly. I had my first visit at this location last week and I am impressed as always. They barely had their grand opening and you would never know. Their operation runs so smooth. It was always so hard for me to get an appointment here. But once I did get an appointment after 6 months of trying I got my lashes done. Initially I loved my lashes but when I returned 2 weeks later for a refill another heavy set black female lash stylist took me back for my refill. She was not very customer friendly at all. She seemed like she really didn't want to be there. After approximately 10 minutes of laying on the table and her looking at my lashes she was like, "oh no I cant do this, you are gonna have to reschedule for a full set and we don't have any appointments until 3 days from now"....and I was like but I'm in a wedding and I need my lashes done sooner. The salon is nice and clean. However the manager Paige needs a little more training in customer service along with some of the stylists. Mahogany is very professional and helpful, but she can only do so much. I've been having my membership for over 6 months. During this 6 months, I've had appointments canceled, stylists that I like never stay here long, and damaged lashes. My breaking point was when a stylist put so much glue on my lashes another stylist had to remove all of them to put on a new set. Having your eyes burn and walking around with no lashes is not fun. This location will be better with proper training. Until then, I won't be returning to this location. The regional manger was very helpful, but they take too long to respond to an issue. read more

I am editing this review as I just got a call from the manager at the salon and she apologized for the situation and attempted to make it better. She let me know that the person that I worked with is no longer at the salon and I decided that I will give them another shot- she was extremely professional and deeply apologetic assuring me that this is an isolated incident. I will try them out and see how I like them. I have received so many compliments on my lashes within the last few weeks and now cannot wait to go back and get them refilled. I have been getting my lashes done for years. However, my lash stylist was very far from Pearland. When I heard Amazing Lash was opened close to home, I thought oh great, I have a lash place close to home. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake! I tried them 3 times and every time, my eyes got severely infected! That had never happened before. The staff is very inexperienced and sometimes unprofessional. I used another location for 2 years and was excited when this one opened. I tried it six times with 3 different stylists because I realllllyyyyyy wanted it to work out. I get substandard quality and service, which I've talked to them about (they were in responsive.) My lashes only look nice for a few days instead of 3-4 weeks like they usually do. I spoke with the mgr, who was rude. I emailed the district mgr, who never responded. Not impressed. read more

I've gone here about 3-4 times and this last time will be my last!! I called and made an appointment for Last Sunday at 3 for the 6D lashes. I asked the receptionist on the phone several times to make sure it was for the 6d lashes and she reassured me that the 3 o'clock apt was for 6D. Sunday arrives and I'm greeted by the lash specialist and when she asked me what length and style I wanted and I told her 6D Sexy size 15 and she tells me that she is not qualified to do 6D. We go back to the front and they tried to rescheduled me for another day. I did not have the time to go another day that's why I made an appointment and asked the lady several times over the phone. so they asked a lash specialist that was not on the clock to do my lashes and she agreed (Chelsea). (The owner was at the store as well)I asked the receptionist was she certified to do them and she said yes. After the service was done I left and looked in the mirror and could see all the glue however I thought it may dry and not look so chunky. I also wanted to pay the difference of my service with another card and I swiped and everything just to find out they charged my card on file and not the one that I gave them to swipe smh. I waited 48 hours and made sure I did not get my lashes wet and after I made sure to brush them everyday and I noticed when brushing it was painful. You can literally see the glue on my skin. Everyday I brushed several lashes would fall off. So today Friday, I called the store back to see if I could possibly get my money back because I didn't want anyone from that store touching my lashes. I called at 3:30 and they informed me the manager was not at the store and to call back in 30 minutes so I called back at 4 and they said the manager had left again and to try again at 5. At 5 the manager finally returned and had the receptionist ask me several questions before the manager got on the phone to hear me. When she got in the phone she only offered me to come in today at 7 because it was already pass the 3 day mark and today was the only time she could have someone look at them. I couldn't come in today because I have work and I just wanted my credit back on my account. I told her I have pictures and it hasn't even been a week it's only been 5 days. She asked me have I been taking them off because the could tell if I did take them off I told her no I only took the glob of glue that was on my skin off because it was painful. The customer service was absolutely horrible! I told her that this was not acceptable and I had pictures and would leave a review and she did not care at all! I absolutely love getting my lashes done but I will no longer go to the Pearland business center the Pearland parkway one is much nicer and the customer service is a lot better!! This place really is hit-or-miss. I've been getting my lashes done for years and when I first moved to Pearland I struggled to find a place. I came here and I went through several technicians before I finally found one that I like. I almost stopped coming because they seem to mess up my lashes a lot. The girl I go to now is the only one I will go to. I had to come in on a day that she wasn't here and had somebody else and again my lashes were messed up. So this really depends on the technician actually not the location. Good luck on finding one for you it took me awhile to find one for me! read more

If it wasn't for the Regional Manager (very nice) I would've given this place a 1 star, because I strongly dislike poor customer service. I'd rather receive mediocre lash service vs. poor customer service (it's just that important to me). The lash techs do a fairly decent job (Kim was amazing, but she left) so getting lashes done here isn't the problem. Give them a shot if you can get a lash tech you like and they stay long enough you'll be fine. The front desk was always friendly. Hopefully, you won't need any help from the manager Shannon she is very rude which ultimately made me cancel my contract. The pic attached was my lashes (wanted a bit fuller) that I needed a correction on versus the lashes Kim did. I called to get the correction, but got attitude from the manager Shannon. It's not what you say, but how you say it. She should try reading The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, and apply that to her job before managing anything. read more

I was told on my earlier review to call the studio and they would help remedy my situation. MORE LIES!! I called and left another two messages for the manager and still didn't get a call back. Finally I was given the email to the REGIONAL DIRECTOR, Patty Deleon and never received a reply after telling her about my terrible experience here and my request for at least another service done, since the one I paid for only lasted a few days. This company is very unprofessional and I will be reporting them to the better business bureau! After about 10 calls to management, several emails and yelp reviews, my situation was never taken care of. I was always put on hold, and then told the manager was not available. WARNING!!! Fraud. Do not sign up for the auto renewal. They will refuse to cancel you. I went in person twice and called over the phone to cancel and they assured me it would not automatically renew but I continue to get charges on my credit card. I stopped going after nine months because their customer service is atrocious and the facility is run by children. I had to still pay for the entire 12 months but canceled the auto renewal on the 10th month. I am still getting charged on my credit card. read more

I went in for a refill and I informed the rep that my membership draft would occur in 2 days. She informed me that I would have to pay for my services on this day and that the draft would not come out. I confirmed with her several times that I would only be charged once. So I paid at that time with my credit card. Well 2 days later my membership draft still came out of my account. I have now been waiting for over 30 days to receive my refund after contacting this location over 6 times. The manager was never available but most of the other workers were polite. I normally do not write negative reviews but this is the first. Not to mention that this was the worst set of lashes that I have received in over a year. They were placed under my eye lid at the root of my own lashes which was very irritating and painful. I also lost many of them within days of the refill. Place is run by teenagers and incompetent computer people. I made my appointment Thursday, June 11 @ 4:30 pm, gave a credit card to secure the appointment, was told that I would be charged if I did not cancel within 24 hours. Took off work early to get there before 5 (time of my appointment) when i got there no one could find my appointment record in the computer,( not by name or phone number.) There was 1 person there that was scheduled to get off at 7:00pm, but did not want to take me since she wanted to leave early. This was completely unprofessional. If you're a business person, and time & professionalism is what you expect you surely need to look somewhere else. I will not be returning nor will any of my friends. read more

My experience today was absolutely horrifying! I have a regular lash tech that I absolutely love, unfortunately she was on vacation. So I meet Ana today. Ana was rude, impatient, unfriendly, disrespectful and that is to say the least! She used excessive amounts of glue which ended up in my eye. When I started blinking because the glue burned and something was poking my eyeball she started breathing hard and spoke to me rudely. I asked her to stop, pulled apart my glued together eyelids, and walked out. I sat in my car for 20 minutes just crying because I was so angry and disappointed. She ruined my entire day! I left with an incomplete set of lash extensions for my Labor Day weekend. I have only had great things to say about this company but today was just horrifying. If she didn't want to install my lash extensions, I really wish she would have never even touched me!!! read more

I visited the Shadow Creek- Pearland location two days before my wedding to get my lashes done. I paid additional for a Master Stylist with the intention of my lashes being perfect for my wedding day. A few hours after my appointment I noticed my eyes becoming very painful. I went back to salon that same evening and explained to the manager that my eyes are very painful and either the lash or the glue is scratching my eye. Her response "We are closed. Come back when we reopen". I asked if she or another stylist could take a look to see what's going on as I was in pain. She responded "I don't do lashes". I went back to the salon first thing the next morning. Another stylist took a look and noted that too much glue was used. She tried to remove the excess glue however my eyes constantly watered due to the pain. After a couple of hours there were no improvements so I went to my doctor. The doctor confirmed that the excess glue and incorrectly placed lashes caused scratches to my corneas. The doctor removed more of the excess glue and the lashes which were in the wrong direction. I paid $130 to Amazing Lashes, $60 for a Doctors visit which I have a doctor's note for. $190 later I spent my wedding day with painful scratched corneas due to improper application. The Salon Manager's lack of care or concern did nothing to remedy the situation. I am so disappointed with the Shadow Creek location and I regret using them for my wedding. read more
