Beware!!!! Beware!!!! I was a long term loyal customer and cancelled last month due to having a baby this month. I was assured by the desk girl I would not have any further charges and I cancelled in time. Well they lied and charged me this month. When I called to discuss the girl refused to look up my name and help, she continued to repeat the cancellation policy which I was within. She wouldn't know that however because she wouldn't look up my name. When she asked who I spoke with (over a month ago) she got an attitude when I tried to describe her. Again if she would have tried to look up my name to help me she could have figured this out. Awful service, they do not value your business and they have lost a long time customer. I purchased a gift card for my mom to get her lashes done for the first time and now I'm regretting it. When she called to make an appointment they asked her for a credit card, which she doesn't have. The person she spoke with said that in order to make the appointment then they would need a card on file. She explained that she can't give them something she doesn't have so the person on the phone went to ask a manager if they could still book the appointment and was told yes. On the day of the appointment they told my mom that she couldn't be seen because they wanted her credit card information. She explained that she didn't have one but would be using the gift card I gave her and could pay cash if there was a difference. They told her no and asked her to leave. I couldn't believe they had refused her service because she doesn't have a credit card. When I purchased the gift card I asked about their services first and never was it mentioned that a credit card would be needed; if I had known that then I would have never purchased the gift card and sent my mom there. I've been coming here for two and half years, the last six months I've had numerous issues. Lashes don't last for more than two weeks. Untrained stylists, one even messed up my lashes so badly they were hanging off when she was "done." I had to return for two more appointments just so they could "fix" the mess she made and remove the all the glue she used. They also overbook appointments, and then expect you to either come back another time or leave with barely apologizing. I was a member here for about 4 months. My first full session I had a lash technician who was very nice, but most likely inexperienced. My session took 4 hours to complete (almost twice as long as they say it should take) and when I left, each eye had one lash glued to a bottom lash on the outside corners of my eyes, causing a great deal of discomfort and irritation. For my next fill I paid for the "expert technician" and she was wonderful. The session took only 40 minutes and she made my lashes custom to my requests. This time was painless and without irritation. The main reason I cancelled my membership is that the monthly membership fee covers one fill per month, but by two weeks, all but a couple of my lashes had fallen off. To maintain these lashes and have them look the way you want, you'll need to pay the membership fee, plus one to two extra fills, plus expert upcharge, plus tip every month. It's a clean and welcoming place, the staff are certainly very friendly and helpful, but just be prepared budget-wise! read more

I went to another location for my first set of lashes and was not 100% satisfied, so I gave this location a shot, Totally different experience today, much more relaxing, pain free and my lashes look and feel great! Plus I was not uncomfortable on the table, my neck was not hanging off the side like it was when I went to the Sonterra location. Amy is so gentle and talks you through everything. I moved to San Antonio about a month ago and was looking for a new eyelash person to do my lashes. I've been getting my lashes done for the past 2 years in Seattle and California and now I move here. I figured since this place specializes in eyelash extensions it would be good. I've gotten my lashes done here twice and both times I was disappointed. I don't think it's the lack of know how here, but I think it's the lack of quality adhesive and maybe lashes that they use. The first time I got my lashes done here, by the end of the first week (at day 7) I had less than half of the lash extensions still on. I went back for a fill and they looked great (as they did the first time) but again, by the end of the week, half had already fallen out. I called the business and of course they say that it's probably my fault - they did't say it like that, but basically told me that it's bc my face is oily (I have dry skin, not oily), I washed my eyes too much, I sleep on them.... blah blah blah. I've never had this issue before when getting my lashes done at other places. I am actually really careful with the lashes and I don't even wear make up so I normally don't go in for a refill until 5 weeks because my lashes (when done right and with quality adhesive) will last that long. So for this place, to have my lashes only last a week - I think is a ploy on their part so that way people have to keep coming back more often for refills. This place has lost my business. This was also one of the cheapest places I found... Remember ladies, you get what you pay for. Don't get me wrong, when they're done, it looks great, but the quality of work they do here is not great enough to keep me as a customer. I will try somewhere else. read more

So far I've only had two appointments at this location and I'm honestly considering discontinuing my membership here... I just moved to San Antonio from Houston & I was pleased to find I could continue getting my lashes done with Amazing Lashes but this location honestly doesn't have the best service... My first appointment was a full set since it took forever to get an appointment after moving here, and the entire set took ALMOST THREE HOURS. The lady doing my lashes gave me no warning that it would take so long, & I didn't feel comfortable at all the whole appointment. When she was finished my lashes were definitely not as full as I was used to them being, but I had class really soon afterwards so I decided to let her slide. My second appointment was Friday with a new person & she informed me that the last lady who had done my lashes put "too much glue" and that "it took too long to fix the last lady's work so I'm just gonna put a few lashes and you'll have to come back for a mini-refill". First of all, why should I have to pay EXTRA for a "mini refill" because one of YOUR "PROFESSIONALS" doesn't know what they're doing?! While she was doing my lashes I didn't want to comment on the situation because I didn't want her cutting or messing with my lashes while my eyes are closed, but after the appointment was over I LOOKED LIKE I JUST HAD NORMAL LASHES. They are extremely sparse, maybe a total of 15 lashes per eye, and THIS IS THREE DAYS BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY, DEFINITELY NOT THE LOOK I WANTED AT ALL. I scheduled a mini-refill ( which of course isn't for another week since they claim they're always completely booked) but after thinking about it I honestly don't know if I want to come back to this location ever, especially when there's another Amazing Lashes in the San Antonio area. Unless you already have a membership & just want to transfer locations, I wouldn't suggest getting your lashes done at this location. Poor customer service & now poor effort put into my lashes after I've been a member for over a year now...sad. read more

I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable. I'm a 60 year old woman and they made me feel like I did not belong there at all! First visit was okay until I signed a contract. The first visit your lashes are nice and full. After that - you need to pay extra to get them to look fuller like the first time. Front desk treated me very poorly after I was locked in. Hard to get an appointment that was convenient for me. They don't answer emails / website to request an appointment. CUSTOMERS BEWARE when you sign into a contract - they will still charge you after you try to cancel for 30 days. And you MUST go in person to cancel and the 30 days starts from the day you go in person to cancel. It's really a scam! I spoke to the manager and she just made excuses for her associates' bad behavior, so that was another waste of my time because she really was not listening or trying to understand anything I had to say. The associates were making fun of me. They were talking about me! I did not deserve to be treated that way! Horrible Customer Service! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! I went to Amazing Lash in the Quarry on Wednesday to get a full set for the first time and I absolutely love my lashes. The receptionists were fantastic. They walked me through the various options for style, length, and thickness, and discussed with me their recommendation based on the shape and droop of my eye. Brittany (sp?) was my stylist and she was fantastic. She also walked me through the various options and talked with me about what I was looking for. She made me feel super comfortable and gave me a blanket to stay warm. I was so comfortable I slept through the whole process (a cute sign in the bathroom said this is the new "beauty sleep"). The end product is amazing! I expected the eyelashes to be heavy, but I can't even feel them! They look gorgeous! I have gotten so many compliments over the last few days. Everyone says they look natural and beautiful and really open my eyes! AND I have more than enjoyed only adding a touch of makeup to walk out the door! I definitely recommend Amazing Lash to anyone considering eyelash extensions! I signed up for a contract and I will pay $59.99 a month for one refill a month, which is so much more affordable than I expected! What a steal-so excited I decided to do it!! read more

I'm originally from Houston, but recently moved to San Antonio for school. My membership is in Houston and I am SO glad I found an amazing lash studio here in San Antonio because I definitely did not want to have to drive to Houston every month just to get my lashes done. This is a relatively new location, and I believe they've been open only for a couple of months now. My first visit here wasn't so pleasant. I don't remember the name of my technician, but it took a little over an hour just for a lash refill. Not only that, she was pulling my eyelids left and right and I don't want to be paying for premature wrinkles!!! The first time here, I guess since they hadn't been open long, I didn't get the regular cold eye gel pads under my eyes either. It just felt like really thick tape or something. After that hour of JUST a lash refill, my eyes were burning and watering like crazy, which has never, ever happened to me before. (Which shouldn't happen if done properly, and I know because this has never happened to me in Houston!) It's not that my lashes looked bad, they looked great. It was just a bad, lengthy ordeal. This experience left me wanting to cancel my membership and not give this new establishment a chance, but I decided to make another appointment for the next month. I am so thankful I didn't cancel my membership because my second visit here was so fast and easy, and my eyes didn't burn or water. Carissa was my technician (because the other one was late) and she is THE ONE to go to! It took her only 35 minutes to do my refill. THIRTY-FIVE. Not an hour plus. I got the gel eye pads, no eye-pulling, and my lashes look amazing. All the staff here is so friendly, and since I know who to ask for next time, I will definitely be back! read more

** update** I have called several times trying t get a refund and no one will return my call. They keep assuring me I'm on a list for management to call but it's been over a week now. If you love amazing lash studio DO NOT COME HERE. I've been getting my lashes done with them for the past 6 months and recently moved to San Antonio. I tried this location despite their bad reviews and over 50% of my lashes fell out within 2 days. I called and was given a "consultation" where they basically asked what I had done to make my lashes fall out. They told me that because it had been so long since my last refill (3 weeks) I should have just gotten a full set and the lashes that fell out were probably just my old ones. (Which I guess after 3 weeks every lash on my face decided to fall off within a 2 day period). No one even considered that the stylist just messed up. The stylist for the consultation was rude and only blamed me for this situation and acted like she was doing me a huge solid for filling in me lashes less than a WEEK after my refill. So, today was my third visit. Amanda did my lashes the previous times. I loved them. I scheduled my appointment for today with Amanda. Once I arrived, I checked in & was told to go wash my lashes. I did so then returned to wait for Amanda. A few moments later, a young lady comes out & says, "Ashley, you ready?" Taken aback because she was not Amanda, I said politely, "I am but my appointment is with someone else." The front desk girl says, "who was your appointment with?" I said, "Amanda" to which she responds, "Amanda no longer works for us." At this point, I became extremely frustrated. I asked why I was not called & told my appointment would be with someone else. I also stated I had seen several Yelp reviews containing complaints regarding the incompetency & lack of professionalism at the front desk. I made them aware that I would also be leaving a comment about the young lady at the front desk. I believe her name was Peyton but I am not 100% sure. She was rude, rolled her eyes, & offered nothing for the inconvenience. This is not the first complaint about the front desk staff so I'm not sure why training has not been done so they understand appropriate ways to interact with customers. I did hear her say it was her last day at this location. Perhaps, the issues at the front desk will be resolved if someone else is running it. Taylor ended up doing my lashes. I like them but I preferred Amanda. I did schedule another appointment with Taylor. After my appointment, I was not charged the $20 for the supposed added volume I requested for these lashes. However, my lashes looked exactly the same when Amanda did them & she never stated it was $20 more. They do not appear THAT voluminous in my opinion. I got my eyelashes done for the first time and they looked okay. I got natural eyelashes and they still looked very glam. I have to say that it's very overpriced and they didn't last me very long. After I was done with my appointment my eyes were burning and they told me it's normal and that it would go away. It was still burning after two hours and my eyes were very red. If you feel that your eyes are burning, you're probably allergic to the glue. Overall, it's a very nice place and the staff is very helpful, but I payed $130 for a set that barely lasted me 2 weeks. read more

I went to amazing lash studio for my first time for lash extentions. I got the cute look, with medium thickness and medium length. The lashes look amazing and my technician was very friendly! My only complaint is that my eyeballs burned during the application process, and I was told that it was from the glue fumes. My eyeballs are still red 24 hours after application. Articles I have read online state that the process should be completely painless and it is a red flag if there is burning. When I told the technician that my eyes burned, she put a fan over my eyes to waft the fumes away. It is not an allergic reaction, as there is no swelling, itching, or redness on my eyelids, or around the eyes. I am unsure if burning eyeballs are normal, but I will not be getting fills after this set falls out. Otherwise, the lashes look great! read more

This is my first time at the facility, but having had my lashes done else where. I made my appointment about a week ago and was very excited as I am flying out on a trip tomorrow. I was greeted by the friendly front desk, checked in and asked to fill out paperwork. Everything was smooth and me being the person I am I am also very bubbly and friendly, the girls and I got along. My lash tech was Jacsanne, she spoke with me about what I had initially wanted as far as my lashes and I explained to her about how I used to have them done. Conversation was great, energy was positive and we got along very well. Once the service was done, I assessed my lashes and I was in love with them. She did exactly what I asked for! She is one of the master/senior stylists and I would definitely recommend her. I bought the lash cleanser and also a membership! I gave this studio a shot in high hopes that I would have the lashes I wanted. Long story short, I was very disappointed. The lady doing my lashes was extremely rough and probably had to say "sorry" 8 times because of plucking my lashes. She also got very frustrated and made it very known to me after complaining that my "right eye was giving her so much trouble" and huffing and puffing which made me nervous that she didn't know what she was doing, as nobody has ever had this much trouble applying my lashes before. My lashes did not turn out the way I wanted and were very stiff with white residue on them. After calling the front desk to inform them of my experience, they informed me that it was only the lady's 3rd day. GREAT. I turned around and went back for them to take off my lashes right after leaving because my eye that the lady was tugging because it was giving her "trouble" was bloodshot and irritated. Their manager is supposed to call me tomorrow and hopefully I will get my $80 back. read more

I used to wear falsies all the time but somehow developed an allergy to the adhesive after years of use. I started getting eyelash extensions with Summer and she is wonderful !!! She is very light handed and super sweet. If you ask for dramatic she will give you dramatic and if you ask for natural that is what you will leave with. I get the style gorgeous in wispy. My full set lasts weeks !!!! I wash them with antibacterial soap twice daily and brush them. I also don't wear any other eye makeup because I feel I don't need it with the extensions!
