Then we moved back to Austin and had to start my search all over again. Fortunately, they had a Woodhouse Spa near my house. Then it got bought out by a facial spa. There was one solo Woodhouse Spa I frequented in Cedar Park, TX until it closed its nail spa. Thus, I have been bouncing around but have not found one that meets all my nail needs. Therefore, I decided I will go to Woodhouse when I visit San Antonio 1-2 per month. Today I had a pedicure at Woodhouse after not having a pedicure for about a month. My big toenail split. Fortunately it was the thin top layer, but it scared me a bit. Woodhouse Spa's vibe is serene, peaceful and calm. The spa colors are warm - beige, brown, off white. They offer massages and facials also. When you arrive you check in at the front desk and then you are escorted to a waiting area where they bring you the beverage of your choice. Like most salons, the eyebrow wax was $12 which is good pricing. The employee was very nice. I have sensitive skin so naturally my skin gets very red and irritated whenever it's waxed -- but my eyebrows were way redder than normal.
