I wanted to share my recent experience at the UPS store, as the situation became unnecessarily…read morestressful and concerning. My mom, who was visiting from out of state, shipped a package to herself through your store. The item was packaged by your team and sent as an overnight delivery (costing close to $400 for overnight) Unfortunately, the package did not arrive on the expected date. While we understood there could be delays due to Sunday, it arrived even later than anticipatedand ultimately arrived damaged. A store employee had mentioned they would follow up regarding the SGR, but we did not receive a call the next day as promised. My mom attempted to call the store multiple times without success, but no one answered. Since she is not local, I went into the store on her behalf to help get an update. For context, I am currently 37 weeks pregnant, so making the trip was already physically taxing. When I arrived, I explained the situation to a younger employee and put my mom on speaker so she could provide details directly. At that point, an older employee came to the front and immediately assumed my mom was yelling on the phone, which was not the case. Instead of calmly assessing the situation, he became visibly frustrated and began raising his voice toward the phone. I repeatedly asked him to stop yelling, as it was escalating the situation and causing unnecessary stress, especially given my condition. Unfortunately, he continued, showing little awareness of how inappropriate the behavior was. In addition to the tone of the interaction, several of his comments were confusing and came across as dismissive and guilt-inducing. For example, when we brought up that the package had arrived damaged and that we had not received a follow-up call as promised, he responded by saying that if the package had been processed the day before, "we wouldn't have known about the damage." This did not make sense in context, especially since we were told we would be contacted before any next steps were taken. Rather than addressing the lack of communication or helping resolve the issue, the responses felt defensive and unhelpful. The interaction became increasingly uncomfortable. Eventually, he disengaged by walking away and keeping his distance, without resolving the situation or addressing my concerns directly. I asked if everything needed on our end had been completed, was told yes, and then I left. What should have been a simple conversation turned into a stressful and avoidable experience. I'm disappointed in how the situation was handled, particularly the lack of communication, professionalism, and awareness in handling both a damaged shipment and a customer concern. Weeks later they did not do the SGR like they said and she received no apology, no response from the store, no refund. Could have been charged the original shipping but didn't refund the over night for not coming on time. This was a disappointing experience and I now see it based on previous reviews. I should have known better to look first.

After our previous home sold faster than expected, we had to move into a short term rental until the build was completed. As it was only a 2 hour move, all of our furniture and possessions were put in Pods, and stored until the final move. As our closing date approached, I did quite a bit of research, and came upon John and his team at Knick Knack Movers. All of my questions were answered quickly, and the communication was great! On the move day, they were scheduled to have 3 people to empty our 2 large Pods. They arrived 10 minutes early, which never happens, and they had a 4th person to assist. One for which we were not charged. They were quick, careful, and every single person worked hard. It became apparent that they would finish prior to the 3 hour minimum. I mentioned to John, who came himself to supervise, that there was 1 item going to my daughters home 20 minutes away, and I had several items we had stored at her home that we needed to move as well. We hadn't contracted them for a truck, or the 2nd location, but John quickly figured out a price to add the extra to our move. The price was great, and they saved me renting a truck or trailer and doing it myself next weekend. As I said at the beginning... 11 states and 13 or 14 moves. This is our last. In all of those moves, this was by far the least eventful... WHICH IS AWESOME! In a move you want stress free and nothing unexpected to pop up. John and his team at Knick Knack Movers are top notch and I will recommend them to absolutely anyone who needs movers. Great prices and an amazingly professional crew. Why even talk to anyone else!

We have some really heavy bedroom furniture and a 500 lb safe that we knew we couldn't move ourselves. I was a little hesitant hiring a newer company but their price and lack of hidden fees just couldn't be beat. A few email exchanges with Jagger himself quickly put me at ease. He showed up on a time, ready to work. We could not be more impressed with their effort, courtesy, and attention to detail. They moved all furniture with ease managing not to scratch or dent anything, or harm the apartment. Extremely professional, reliable, and great to work with. We will certainly hire them again in a few weeks!

I scheduled my moving day 2 weeks prior to my scheduled date. about 5 days before my scheduled move date. someone called to ask me if my schedule was flexible and if they could move me to Sunday. I explained I couldn't move my date as I had other things simultaneously happening with the move. The morning of our move my husband went to meet as discussed and no one showed. for an hour and a half he sat there trying to get ahold of someone at this company. when he finally got someone. They said they would not be out that day to move us as they had a scheduling conflict. Even though I got a confirmation from the office with the date of the move and again reiterated when they called to see if we could reschedule I said no. I would never recommend this company to anyone. We had to scramble to find another company to move us on the date needed.

There was no estimate offered or maximum charge for the move, as (I discovered later) they're required to provide. There was no communication surrounding the moving supplies, their cost, no itemized list of supplies provided, only an arbitrary "supplies - $350" written on the invoice, nor even provided after the fact upon request. One of the company's partners, Scott, was unwilling to provide answers to my billing questions, it was difficult to complete a sentence without him interrupting me & making legal threats. The movers also destroyed my $5k mattress. When brought to Scott's attention, he blamed me for not inquiring about, nor purchasing, additional insurance coverage. The information, he claimed, was provided to me - it was not. There's a line to initial on the contract, to acknowledge receipt (which is blank), & that I was expected to flip through & read everything on the clipboard. I was expected to rummage through someone else's clipboard without any reference of its existence. Regarding the destroyed mattress, they offered me $150 for it. When it became clear that communicating with Scott would be unproductive, I requested to speak with someone else from the company but it remained unacknowledged until Scott suddenly ended the call. I've unfortunately had to consult with legal counsel to determine how to best further pursue it. This matter currently remains unresolved.

Movers showed up in their personal vehicle with dollies and a plan to walk all of my belongings…read morefrom one building to one two buildings over. Their lead guy had an attitude to begin with. They were supposed to show up at 9, but didn't show up until 10:30am. They started moving things and immediately I noticed how careless they were and they didn't care about protecting anything or handling anything with care. They completed the move in 2 hours, but not without damaging several items. Once they were done their lead guy Alexis came and told me I owed $125. Which was odd because the apartment was paying $375 for the move. According to the form I was provided, it was $125 per hour, $75 trip fee and $50 compliance fee. For two hours of work, that's $250, plus $75, equals $325, plus $50, equals $375. So I asked how I owed $375? Alexis said the apartment is only paying $375, you owe the balance of $125 and he showed me his phone again. So I told him I need to talk to someone because the math does not add up. He called his supervisor Victor and put him on speaker, after going through the basic math with Victor, he seemed confused, said he was going to check what time I signed the movers in, which was 10:27am and then asked the current time 12:30pm. Then he says oh yeah, I guess you're right and we need to update things on our end. You don't owe anything. Thank you and have a good day. At this point, lead guy in front of me is pissed and storms out. He and his movers left their trash everywhere. At the old apt, at the new apt. I had given them bottles of water which they the the empty ones in the grass. Real unprofessional behavior and all because I refused to pay $125 I didn't owe them. Ridiculous. Also, this overcharging seems like a scam because I got an email from someone else at the company telling me that $125x2 =250 plus $75 and $50 = 500. Not today! Nice try though. Will never use again, even if it's free. I don't recommend.
