We came back to our yard smelling like we were covering up a bloody massacre. The smell of bleach was everywhere. It wasn't the fact that bleach was used on the roof that bothered me but the concentration. I use 10% bleach everyday at work so I know what it smells like. This smelled like at least 30%. It was so strong it left bleach marks on the concrete. In fact my mom put a wet towel on one of our walls and it ended up with bleach stains. The workers didn't cover anything so my dad's t-shirt that was in a bucket in the sink outside was ruined as was my mom's washing machine cover. I shutter to think how the runoff that went into the storm drain will affect the bay. Envirowash sounds like an environmentally friendly company but I wonder if it is as the smell of bleach is sickening. Will never use them again!

The area next to the steps and along the front of the house needed a retaining wall to hold the soil and clean up the slope. Their crew came out, walked the space with me, and explained how they would build the wall and shape the curve so it would look natural with the yard and the house. They also talked about the base and drainage so it would hold up long-term. The work itself was done efficiently and the crew was easy to work with. They prepped the base, set the blocks carefully, and made sure the curve of the wall flowed nicely along the front of the yard instead of just building a straight line. They kept the job site pretty clean and checked in along the way to make sure everything looked right. The finished wall looks great and really improves the front of the house. It's solid, level, and the curve gives the landscaping a much cleaner look than what was there before. Overall, a very positive experience. I live in Kahalu'u and subject to rain delays. I had roughly 5,600 sq ft of asphalt overlay to be applied to a 31 year old asphalt residential driveway plus at least 6 car unrestricted parking area. So it took 2 days (1st day preping and 2nd day final preping and then laying down 72 tons of hot asphalt a minimum 2 inches compacted thick. Some other companies only offer 1.5 inches compacted asphalt overlay. Finally, the employees were very courteous and polite. They did a very thorough cleanup including a portion of our neighborhood road that had a lot of traffic during this job. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome!
