In Naperville by H Mart. Cheap prices. Has wide selection of products... Shop and walk out and get billed automatically.

First time to an Amazon Fresh and it looks like Whole Foods with fewer cashiers. There was a security by the entrance where we scanned the In store code via the Amazon app. Roamed around and many shelves were empty. Lots of sensors on the ceiling and everything is sold per piece, like one lemon, one piece of banana, not one pound. There were 2 cashiers checking out folks. We chose to exit after scanning our code again. A staff by the entrance gave us a coupon. $10 off $40 purchase. Seems like this place is quite new.

Fascinating. Truly fascinating. I scanned my Amazon prime app as I walked in. A woman took us through the steps and she was very helpful. The options were plentiful and I saw many Whole Foods products that I enjoy from home. You scan your app and then as you walk around the store, you can choose the items you want and multiple cameras Track what you've placed in your cart. You then scan your app as you leave and your items are purchased through the card you have on file for Amazon prime. I wasn't quite sure what to think of it but it worked flawlessly.

My parents sometimes go to the location on 59, so they wanted to see how this one compared. I got a coupon in the mail for the grand opening so we went to check it out. One thing to know: you don't have to synch to your account and do the "walk out the door without talking to a clerk" thing. There's a separate gate to enter if you want to be a traditional shopper and check out at the register. Things I liked: - Store is not big so I didn't get overwhelmed/exhausted (I have a chronic illness and shopping in big box stores or even Marianos can be too tiring) - Despite store's size I found nearly everything I would have looked for, though there isn't a lot of selection Things I didn't like: - Without the coupon, some things like meat would be very high priced. Don't love the vacuum packed meats either. - Be sure to bring a bag (something most stores weren't allowing during the pandemic) because this location charges you 10 cents for a paper one. My parents said that hasn't happened at the one on 59 and everything is always double bagged there. - Parking lot cart corral was spilling over; needs to be emptied more often Overall, convenience + coupon might bring me back, but remember that bag...

We are told the bar area is open seating. We go sit down and do not get helped then are told by the manager we can't sit there bc we didn't get seated. There are 4 open tables. They proceed to kick us out of our table and tell us they have a waitlist. We ask to join and they told us it would be an hour wait. Attached open tables for reference

It's OK. They've only been open a month, and this one looks to be one of their smaller stores. Like everything else nearby, they have a nice big parking lot!

My toddler and I love to go on little excursions. A grand opening coupon got me interested in going to Amazon Fresh for some shopping. For some reason my Amazon app doesn't work when not on wifi, so I was not able to have the experience of walking out without "paying", so I was bummed about that. The staff there were super friendly in trying to help me figure it out, but it just wasn't meant to be. The store itself is pretty nice. It's not overly large (maybe about the size of an aldi?), which was nice for me and my toddler to truly see everything. I thought the prices were ok. Some items were on point with what I pay elsewhere, but I found some items a lot higher priced. Example: On point- bananas- you could get 2lbs for a dollar or 15 cents a piece. Off- a 6 pack of Dr. Pepper bottles for $5.49. Some areas of the store were a little bare, like in the bread area. When I left I got another coupon for $10 off $40 so I definitely would give it a try again if the coupons stay that good. It probably would not become a regular in my shopping rotation though.

My first just walk out store!

PSA: Be mindful of how Black customers are treated at Fresh Thyme Market in Naperville…read more.. I had one of the most upsetting and disrespectful experiences at this location on Thursday, July 17th around 7:51 PM. I came in on my work break to pick up just two items: a plant-based Italian beef and an avocado that was clearly placed in the section marked "4 for $5." However, it rang up as $2.99. What followed was nearly 20 minutes of frustration and poor treatment. A young cashier delayed helping me, questioned me about the price in a condescending tone, and then called a manager who treated me even worse. Not only did the manager refuse to honor the price I saw posted, but he also accused me of switching the avocado sticker--a claim that was extremely offensive and baseless. I offered for them to review the security footage, and they refused. I felt racially profiled and disrespected over a simple produce item. As a Black woman, I can't ignore how I was treated in comparison to how I've seen other customers treated here. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I will not be returning to this store. I hope management will address how they treat customers with more respect and dignity going forward.

Their sale prices are good, though their everyday prices are high. It's definitely one of the best Jewel-Oscos I've ever shopped at.  I'm very lucky to be so close to this one.  It is always clean, and I always just feel very happy when I'm shopping in this store.  I also feel like I'm upper class when I'm shopping here, even if I'm really just a twenty something trying to make their way in the world.  The quality of the produce, meats, deli, and bakery are unmatched.  That part of the store is always immaculate and I typically want to buy everything in sight when I'm in this part of the store. The service is always excellent and today, when a long line formed in the express lanes, the managers reacted quickly to get extra help and handled all the checkouts I could see in a quick, efficient and courteous manner.  Bravo Jewel Osco! Great job.

The produce section alone was worth it with stacks of fresh fruit and veggies everywhere and good competitive prices for everything and even samples available to try. Very helpful when it came to deciding whether the cantaloupe was worth it or not. I would even argue that the produce is better than at the Jewel AND Whole Foods down the road. The store is well-kept and clean throughout. The bakery, meat and cheese departments and the hot food/salad bar area are great. They have several made-to-order options that looked good and worth trying. Some of the standouts were the broasted chicken, pizza and sushi. For such a fresh looking assortment of dishes to be available at 1pm was a big enticement to come back to grab something for lunch next time I'm in the area. As far as grocery options I would be surprised if you couldn't find what you were looking for in such an expansive store. This is especially true when it comes to the huge variety of international cuisine options. All of the workers I had interactions with were friendly too.

There's a halal butcher and just a plain butcher, about which as a vegetarian I can tell you nothing, a bakery, and a Latin American and Indian mini-cafe. The produce section is very crowded (and offers a wild variety with some excellent specials), and the endcaps on the aisles extend into the aisle, meaning in several places there's only room for one cart and you'll have to excuse yourself to get where you're going. Be prepared. I was impressed by their selection of organic spices and they also had some organic Asian noodles (buckwheat and soba). They also have a good selection of Latin American groceries, including huancaina sauce from Peru (yes!), frozen plantains and Guarana soda. I've seen larger selections of Indian and Eastern European products at dedicated specialty groceries, but no one else in the area carries it all. Many, many different types of flatbread and a wide selection of Middle Eastern sweets; various dry pulses; various types of candy; pearled farro and more versions of burek than I've seen before, including a "vegan be'f". The Indian mini-cafe is half vegetarian, half non; the Latin American one has various kinds of filling in carbs, and if you're vegetarian, all they have is cheese - though the fried corn-dough empanada, cheese in an eggroll like wrapper and pastelito (cheese in pastry) offered various textural delights. This is a haul for me, and I usually try to avoid I-59 but this place might be worth a special trip.
