Think of this place as like an upscale 7-11. They have Kombucha on tap, pink berry and a snack bar where you can order hot/cold sandwiches as well as other hot items. You scan your Amazon code on your app to enter and then you just walk out with your shopping. Amazon will send you a receipt of the items you took. They are located on the corner of 176th and Canyon on the border of Puyallup and Frederickson. My pesto turkey and provolone sandwich was so good. This is the perfect place if you're in a rush and just want to grab something to eat really quick and hit the road again.

Stopped in twice since they have opened their location on canyon and 176. The parking lot is very cramped with little parking making it a challenge and at times time consuming if your wanting a quick grab and go option. The overall prices are high. $2 for a donut. Other items are expensive as well. Their hot food selection had about 2-3 options. Not sure what time their froyo machine closes but it wasn't opened either time I stopped in. They also offer coffee and slurpee options. Some of their food items, sushi and shelf yogurt, did not look very fresh. On this trip we tried a few of their sandwiches. The chicken one was a bit plain, the ham sandwich for some reason I wasn't a fan, the turkey one was good but the bread fell apart. I would come back for a sandwhich as there aren't many options around but I don't think we'd frequent this place regularly.

It is convenient, but prices are high. Good place to go if you are in a hurry. Sandwich's are fresh, but nothing to write home about.

You order at the counter, and pick your food up. There is an array of pretty decent dipping sauces that you can get really lost in. Ambiance wise, it is a good place to gather with friends. The sandwich itself was not spicy, and was mediocre at best. The fries were soggy and inedible. I haven't thrown fries away in a while, but I definitely did here. Overall, mediocre and definitely not worth the high price of eating out these days. Will not return and don't recommend it either.

My husband ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich with Cajun fries again, and I went with the blackened chicken sandwich, this time with fries instead of coleslaw. Just like last time, the food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. The chicken sandwiches here are consistently good, and the fries were great as well. We mainly stopped in this time because my husband was craving custard, and it definitely delivered. I ordered one of their loaded custard creations with multiple mix-ins (I can't remember the exact name), and it was delicious. The only thing I'd note is that it's very rich and sweet, and the portion is pretty big. I couldn't finish mine, so it's probably something that would be perfect for sharing. The restaurant itself still has the same casual, upbeat atmosphere as my previous visit, and the food quality seems very consistent. My only lingering note from my first review still applies a bit -- it can get pricey for what you get -- but the food and custard are definitely good if you're in the mood for it. Overall, still a great spot for chicken sandwiches and custard, and we'd happily come back again.

It's a "comfortable" feeling restaurant even though it has standard older restaurant chairs. We arrived just before noon on a Sunday. The Sunday hours are only 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The menu on Sunday is limited and is a "rotating" menu. Once seated our server Darryl took our drink order. It did take a little while to get my coffee, but not a big deal. The owner came to our table to chat and a member of our party asked if she could have a meal without grits. The owner was confused and after a back and forth conversation brought a sample of her house made grits as a sample. The member of our party tried the grits and he "eyes lit up!" The grits were that good. Bottom line? The food was very good. Our server was attentive. Would we go back? Yes, but for dinner. I was very happy with my shrimp and grits. The shrimp could have been a bit more spicy for my liking, but were the right spice level for my wife. I am hoping jambalaya is on the menu in the evening along with red beans and rice. We will have to see.

We love this place! Best kept secret, as you can still walk in and get a table most of the time. Go…read morewhile that's still a thing! :D I was raised by Sicilians (sounds very "raised by wolves" which, if you've been through a holiday dinner where your entire family ends up in a passionate *ahem* discussion, is not entirely inaccurate); excellent Italian food is the standard. As a result, I'm a little difficult to please with restaurant Italian food. Amici's is one of a very few Italian restaurants I'll keep going back to. Most of it is, in fact, the food. I have not had one bad bite there - ever! Whether it's lasagna or wood fired pizza or pesto pasta or chicken Marsala or manicotti or steak or dessert... you get the point - it's scrumptious. Man, I'm hungry now. LOL The icing on the cake, though, are the employees. Nearly everyone we've spoken to has worked there for years and has only positive things to say about working there. That says something about the management/owners, right? It feels good to support a restaurant that doesn't treat its employees like fearful minions! The restaurant itself is lovely. It's clean, nicely decorated, unassuming and comfortable for either dressing up for date night and vino, or dropping in wearing jeans for pizza and beer (I mean, so to speak - we don't drink... did I mention the n/a Amici punch is delicious?). My only caveat is I've got a sweet tooth so I'd love to see them expand their dessert collection! Special kudos to John, a server in his early 60s. He took great care of us the first time we went there, and we make a special point to say hi to him every time we visit. He always remembers us! Suffice it to say, we will be going back. When we remember our monthly "nicer" date nights, we go to Amici's.

No reservations. There was 1 spot open in the small dedicated lot and then I found a spot on the street. Recommend coming in fewer vehicles if possible. No reservation at peak dinner time (5:30) on a Wednesday, the host (and manager?) found a spot for us promptly anyway and he was super kind and our server for the night. Preschooler was asleep in my arms, but we made it work. We ordered: 1 rose cider (sweet but not too sweet), 1 pulpo (grilled octopus!) starter, 1 boscaiola pasta for the preschooler (boxed leftovers), 1 spring ravioli (more Italian name), and 1 rabbit with polenta entree. Each main came with salad and meal started with bread and whipped butter. We were offered a kid menu option of pasta with alfredo, marinara, or bolognese sauce, but opted for normal menu so we could bring back leftovers. We loved the pulpo and the salads (they offered to box up the preschoolers salad since she was still sleeping). Kid enjoyed the bread. Bit of a wait for mains but nothing out of the ordinary. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. Boscaiola was a hit with the kiddo since she loves pasta and sauce and mushrooms and cheese. Husband thought his main was really good. I was so full after eating all of my ravioli. Really impressed with the quality of food and the level of service. A busy place, but as mentioned, we were luckily seated right away. We're thrilled to have finally made it here after our old Italian standby in proctor shutdown and we can't wait to come back! Definitely recommend. Parking: you can find it, not plentiful but not bad either. Kid friendly: sort of! If your kid likes pizza or pasta!
