Then she seemed annoyed that I asked for extra napkins and dipping sauce for my fry's. Then she didn't top off our drinks, not once. And the. She handed me a box to put my leftovers away n and when I finished putting my food in it and closed it there was hair and crumbs all over the outside. That part of the box never touched the table so the crumbs came from the kitchen and I'm sure the hair did too. All she said was, ( "oh now I feel bad" ) Really? Come to discover that the Show Runner is from Olympia, which is why the Tumwater reference, Gull Harbor, and the Eagan family that is in charge of Lumon is got their name from the Eagan's from this town. So of course we had to try out Eagan's Drive-In. It's a cool little diner with a surprisingly large amount of seating inside and out. No doubt this place is crazy popular in the summer. They have a little arcade area too that has 80s games, so that's awesome! We tried the burger and onion rings which of course was solid because you can't really mess those up. The best thing though are the 40 different flavors of milkshake. I tried the maple bacon and you can taste the real, crisped bacon in it. The lady who served it checked in on us to see if I liked it and heck yeah I did! She was so proud of that shake and she should be because it's sooooo good. Woo! Oh no. The onion rings are also amazing! The only two real critiques that I have is when you order a salad as an entree (think cobb) you get gross packets. The dressing makes the salad and this is why I never order salads from here anymore... They should provide restaurant dressing for an extra charge. Most people would buy it. I always thought it was weird that the deli provides hidden valley ranch packets when they have so many fried items. They can't get ranch in a dipping cup? Or or them into ramekins manually? I assume it would be cheaper In the end and you're already doing it with salsa, tartar sauce, etc I'm also really bummed that they removed the Asian Chicken Salad from the menu because that was the best! It's the only one that comes with actual delicious dressing too! Now that the river water has orange sesame dressing for their seasonal salad, couldn't you put the Asian chicken salad back on the menu though? I love their smash burgers as well as their Philly cheesesteak! The Buffalo wings can be hit or miss, but I prefer mine without breading and dry rubbed. Sometimes theirs come out soggy. The pizza isn't next level, but it's also not bad! Toppings are pretty good, but I prefer a thin crust or Neapolitan style myself. And for that, I can drive to the neighboring town of Yelm and pay an exorbitant price at La Gitana's.
