This is a wonderful Gem found in Miami lakes. They offer a very unique fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine, with fresh ingredients that will leave your palate so satisfied. We went there for my wife's birthday, parking is a little tight because they're located in a shopping center that even though has lots of parking it's packed. Decorated with Christmas lights perfect spot for the family. Our server was Matias, amazing service and on point with all order and recommendations. We had: Gyozas guancaina: we had to order two because the first ones were gone in a minute. Amazing must order Magurno acevichado: the freshness of the fish was insane. Perfect balance of flavors Sake chatsune: deliciousness in a roll For dessert we had profiteroles with matcha icecream. It's not on the menu but ask for it! Cocktails were on point. Not your regular cocktail.. very well elaborated. Music was perfect volume and genre super enjoyable whilendining. Perfect for a date night or a fancy family night. They accommodated with a high chair we had requested and it was ready waiting for us. We were seated immediately but we had a reservation so notate that

Always an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, fresh bold flavors, beautifully plated, and truly unique. Every dish was fresh and perfectly balanced. The service was attentive and welcoming, making the whole night even better. The desserts were absolutely amazing and a perfect way to end the meal, and the complimentary cocktail is always appreciated. Sharing great food, drinks, and time with friends made it such a fun and memorable experience. Definitely a must-visit spot for great vibes and exceptional cuisine and with beautiful decor, located on Main Street in Miami Lakes, always ample parking.

I came to this place for a work dinner, and I am glad I did. The food and drinks were delicious! The place is a Japanese, Peruvian fusion restaurant, and a lot of it is served family style. So, you get to try a variety of different things. My absolute favorite item was the Orange Shrimp, and I was obsessed with the Japanese Martini! The other items we got (refer to photos) were good, but I would go back just for those two items: shrimp and martini. My least favorite was the Japanese sweet potato. I was hoping it was salmon with a sauce on top. The place is super beautiful! It's a wonderful spot for a date night right in Main Street Miami Lakes. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was extremely attentive, and they remembered one of attendees, who is a frequent visitor. Parking is free and accessible, although it is not always convenient depending on when you get there.

This little gem has such great decor. The service is friendly and genuine. The food was delicious. I didn't like having to cook my own $45 steak though. I get the "experience" and all but I was not a fan. Cooking it took time away from the experience and our seafood pasta got cold while we delved into the cooking piece. This is a choice I made though and by no means do I blame the restaurant. However, it won't stop me from going again! The ceviche and pasta were absolutely to die for and the steak despite the hassle was delicious too. Very flavorful food. The desserts were DECADENT. The passion fruit sorbet was an explosion of flavor. The flan had crystallized caramel sugar bits on the bottom. It was so rich and filling! Great spot nestled in Main Street and if you sit outside you people watch behind a cute little garden wall. Quaint but still in the middle of it all.

Pros: Service 10/10, ambiance 9/10, food and drinks 100/10. I had the carrot soup, a delicious roll, hubby had the slider burgers with fries, we also tried two of their bourbon drinks, all amazing! Seriously can't wait to go back. They also gave us a free welcome drink, and a yummy amuse-bouche. Free parking all around. Chill outdoor seating. Cons: a little pricey, but well worth it.

This place tries really, really hard but ultimately falls flat for the price. We tried a variety of food here, and I have to say you'll have the best luck if you steer clear of any seafood. The salmon nigiri, hamachi on our sushi roll and crab in our sushi roll didn't taste fresh at all. But, the wagyu nigiri, short rib bao and short rib dinner we're very well cooked and had good flavors. The potato puree in the short rib was super smooth. Have to give them props for that. My mocktail was good but super sweet, so avoid them if you're not into sweet drinks. My fiance said his cocktail was very good. The decor is nice but dusty and oily. I'm perplexed by the staff. Friendly and professional, but they would use a massive amount of table cleaning chemical, spraying it right on the table just a foot or so away from us eating and we were choking on fumes. They also squished us between two tables with a kid who was on this giant tablet with the volume real loud and he was yelling... Not really the restaurants fault but there were other 2 person tables available. Also, they let a lady at a regular, indoor dining table with a Chihuahua in her lap. Ultimately, we spent 182$ for fair to middling food and wouldn't recommend this place for those who might might not have discretionary income. Go to Korner 67 that's near by instead.

Been here a couple times when we're in the mood for some sushi and drinks locally. The service has always been good. The food is fresh each time I've gone and the drinks perfect! They offered us a complimentary drink to try and it was really good. Can't remember the name of it. Ambiance is perfect for a date night!

The ambiance is stunning and super cozy and chic I loved how intimate it felt coming here and the staff was extremely friendly. The staff was super informative and attentive with us and made sure we understood the entire menu . They start you off with a complimentary mocktail before you put your orders in as well. The drinks were delicious the smoky fashion and the japenese martini are a must. And the food was delights wagyu slider and sweet black cod salmon and ceviche was savory and delicious and fresh. I love the blend of Peruvian and japenese they complimented each other well and for dessert you must get the Peruvian cacao it's made table side and it's super delicious this was a 10/10 experience.

It's been nice having a more elevated dining experience like this in Miami Lakes. The cocktails, food, and service are all on point. My friend and I sat at the bar and ordered cocktails to start. If you're looking for a perfectly balanced drink on the sweet to dry ratio, I recommend ordering the butterfly spritz. For food, we ordered the short rib baos (delicious), the crispy rice with tuna, the gyozas (full of flavor--this was my favorite), and the ceviche (not pictured). I like that they bring you a little something on the house to start and how attentive they are with their service (both times I've been here that's been the case).

What an amazing culinary experience! The restaurant appears much bigger from the outside. It's not that big and it is decorated beautifully with the sushi bar as the focal point. The service was superb, thanks to Jorge that made our first visit to this restaurant a memorable experience. Now the food... everything, and I really mean EVERYTHING, was fantastic, fresh, and tasty. We over ordered as we usually do since we can't control ourselves. This led us to try mostly appetizers, sushi rolls, and small plates. Look at the pictures in this review to see everything we ordered, but a couple of standouts were the Amazónico Ceviche, Crispy Rice, and the Ají de Gallina Croquetas. For drinks both Japanese Martini and Kyoto were phenomenal. Found out for weekdays 3-6pm they have a happy hour with 50% off on most the stuff we ordered. Take advantage if you can. Definitely will be going back!

Place is cleaned and perfectly designed. Food was amazing and our server Claudia was very helpful and knowledgeable. I am definitely going back the try the rest of the menu for sure. Try the Duck, it was made to perfection.

The meal I will be mourning until I get it again. Some meals are great, but then there are meals that feel like pure magic. Amazonia in Miami Lakes delivered just that. This Japanese Peruvian fusion spot is an experience from start to finish, with dishes that don't just satisfy but completely blow you away. We kicked things off with their SAKE CHATSUNE roll, a dream for salmon lovers, followed by their AMAZÓNICO ceviche, which was so fresh and flavorful, I could eat it daily. And if you're looking for a deal, their 2x1 CEVICHE SPECIAL on Friday, April 5th is one you cannot miss. Then came the show-stopping ISHIYAKI, a sizzling hot stone where you grill your own New York strip to perfection, with the crispiest, most addictive potatoes on the side. But the true star? The PEKING DUCK AMAZONIA STYLE, paired with the most golden, creamy Japanese sweet potato purée I will be dreaming about forever. And just when I thought I couldn't eat another bite, the PERUVIAN CACAO mousse and FLAN NIKKEI proved that dessert is a must here. Amazonia isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience you'll be thinking about long after the last bite. What we ordered: SAKE CHATSUNE - Salmon, Avocado, Salmon covered, Mango Chutney, Ikura $22 AMAZÓNICO CEVICHE - Salmon, Octopus, Aji Amarillo Leche de Tigre, Avocado $22 (2x1 special on April 5th) ISHIYAKI - New York Strip, on fire, Rocoto Sauce, Maldon Salt, Japanese Butter, Crispy Potato $45 PEKING DUCK AMAZONIA STYLE - Duck Breast, Orange Honey, Japanese Sweet Potato Purée, Grated Brazilian Nuts $35 PERUVIAN CACAO - 60% Chocolate Mousse, Pecan Nuts Praliné, Maldon Salt, Olive Oil $16 FLAN NIKKEI - Condensed Milk Flan, Miso Caramel $12
