Yummy food as always!!! Angel roll is my forever favorite roll. Tried these shrimp tostones for the first time and they were pretty good! The fried rice was amazing full of chicken, steak, shrimp & pineapple!! Service was great and ambiance was amazing.

I took my best friend out for dinner for her birthday. She had heard good things about Sushi Sake and said it is always PACKED on the weekends. Fortunately we visited on a Monday so that part of the experience was fine. There is ample parking in the shopping center. The restaurant itself was clean and nicely decorated in a contemporary style. I will say be careful at sunset where they seat you, we had a great table but for a bit that Florida sun was piercing right through their sun shades and my face. They sun shade did a good job at reducing the annoyance and the sun eventually set so I dealt with it but if something like that would ruin your experience I thought I should note it so you can avoid that! Service was very friendly and very helpful and they checked in on us a lot to make sure we had everything we needed! Our server was also helpful with the dessert recommendation (more on that and a picture below!). We had the Crab Rangoon appetizer, as that is my go to app anywhere it is offered. This one was superb! Great crab and cream cheese flavor! And the dipping sauce was sweet but not too spicy. Highly recommend. For sushi we had the Tempura Bagel Roll and the NFL roll. The Tempura Bagel Roll was good, not excellent just good. The NFL roll we didn't enjoy at all, the eel was chewy and thin with no enjoyable eel taste. Maybe we just got a bad eel...but they should see that when they are making it. Dessert was a star....vanilla fried ice cream topped with chocolate sauce and condensed milk and whipped cream....oh and don't forget the cherries! This thing was HUGE! Would have been plenty for 4 ppl to split...but the two of us managed to make a good dent in it. Overall, it was a good value for serviceable food. I don't know that I'd go back unless it's where someone else wanted to go.

lobster something. It was part of the lunch menu and I had sweet plantains over it. Ridiculously delicious.

Shout out to Juan!!!! I wish every restaurant had a server like him. so, we walk in and take a seat. Surely after we are greeted by Juan our server who was filled with so many good recommendations and suggestions. They even have a sauce called Vanesa sauce. He recommended instead of eel sauce. He explained how it had a little bit of a spice to it , but it was a great sauce. Then when we wanted to place an order for a lobster roll, Juan shared other options. we also had which, of course we went with because it sounded even more incredible, and we were not disappointed. and to think this used to be a quickie stop. The restaurant is really nice. It's not a big place but they have indoor outdoor eating. It's very welcoming and very very clean. Absolutely delicious.

First time and first impressions were not as we expected. The ambience was very cheap considering the food prices and the server and wait time were pretty disappointing but the food was delicious. I chose the Hialeah sushi platter and a basic mojito which were by far the best ones we chose. Could definitely use some work on servers, wait time, and ambience

I usually approach fusion restaurants with a healthy amount of skepticism. Too often, they feel…read morelike culinary speed dating, two cuisines forced together in the hope that chemistry magically appears. More often than not, one side dominates, the other disappears, and everybody loses. At Amazonia, a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant in Miami, that fear evaporates somewhere around the first bite. The opening argument came in the form of Gyoza Huancaína, pan-fried dumplings stuffed with lomo saltado and served with a vivid yellow huancaína sauce. It is the kind of dish that sounds gimmicky when described aloud. Then you eat it. The dumplings delivered deep savory notes from the beef, while the creamy sauce added brightness, spice, and richness. It felt less like a fusion experiment and more like a dish that had always existed. Four dumplings arrived on the plate. Four was not enough. My entrée, the Midori Risotto, continued the conversation between Japan and Peru. A strikingly green risotto made with kale and edamame arrived topped with grilled shrimp, microgreens, and dots of black garlic aioli. The rice was cooked properly, retaining a slight bite, while the edamame added texture and sweetness. The shrimp brought balance to the richness, and the black garlic aioli quietly tied everything together. It was a dish that managed to be both comforting and elegant. To drink, I ordered the Nikkei Lemonade, a blend of yuzu, Peruvian ginger, and huacatay. Bright, citrusy, and refreshing, it reset the palate after each bite and served as a reminder that the fusion extends beyond the food. My wife chose the braised short rib, a dish for diners who may not be ready to take the full leap into the restaurant's more adventurous offerings. Braised for 72 hours and served over mashed potatoes, it collapsed under the gentlest pressure from a fork. The beef was intensely flavorful, and the braising liquid was rich enough to make you consider asking for a spoon. Dessert brought one final East-meets-West moment. The Flan Nikkei paired a silky custard with miso caramel, whipped cream, and fresh strawberry. The miso added just enough savory depth to keep the sweetness from becoming predictable. It was a thoughtful ending to a meal built on thoughtful combinations. Amazonia succeeds because it understands something many fusion restaurants do not. Combining cuisines is not about piling flavors on top of one another. It is about finding where they naturally intersect. Here, Japanese precision and Peruvian boldness meet in the middle, and both emerge better for it. Fusion rarely wins me over, but Amazonia makes a compelling case for keeping an open mind.

Our server Claudia was so nice and helpful with explaining the different dishes. You also are treated to a complimentary mocktail and sweet yam bite to start. Claudia even provided us a tablet to see the pictures of the various dishes offered which helped us decide what to try. We started off with a mocktail that had coconut, passion fruit, hibiscus tea and pineapple. That drink was delicious and I didn't miss the alcohol. For starters we had the salmon crispy rice and that was so filling and delicious. Then we had the scallops in the black truffle sauce which was perfect a seared to perfection. We also ordered the kumogani roll which is crab based and that was very tasty with or without soy sauce. We loved everything we tried and will definitely go back to try other items on the menu. I highly recommend trying them out if you're in the area.

I haven't had a single dish I didn't enjoy--the food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The only downsides are that they have limited hours and the place fills up quickly. It's a small restaurant, and if you want to sit around the conveyor belt (which is part of the fun), I highly recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before opening so you can be one of the first in line. Other than that, don't overthink it--just go try it out.

It's definitely a cool spot if you love trying different rolls and small plates. The only downside for me was the service. The wait to sit around the sushi bar was extremely long. Also, while not all, most of the servers didn't seem like they enjoyed working there. There wasn't much smiling or charisma, and the overall vibe felt a bit burnt out or indifferent. At one point, a server allowed someone they were acquainted with to cut in front of the line to be sat, which was disappointing to see after waiting so long. Aside from the service issues, the food itself was very enjoyable. If the hospitality matched the quality of the sushi, this place would easily be a top-tier experience.

Parking was a breeze in the plaza it was in, although the parking spots themselves were a little slim. Walking in, we were greeted right away and seated shortly after. The staff was all friendly and the service was super fast. The place itself was super clean and pretty large in comparison to a few other Sushi Sakes I've been to. The menu is pretty extensive so I took quite some time looking at it to decide what I wanted. I was trying to be a bit healthy but my options were pretty limited if I wanted to stay budget friendly. I ended up getting some a sashimi sampler and shared the dynamite appetizer. Both were decent but I do have to say, I have high expectations for the dynamite appetizer so my opinion may be a little skewed. The sashimi was fairly fresh but I wish they had other options for something with less rice on their menu. We also got drinks, the lychee martini and lychee sangria. Both were really good! Overall, it was a great experience and recommend if you're a fan of Sushi Sake and in the Hialeah area.
