Everything was tasty and a great value for the price. My server was friendly and attentive. Came here the other day with my sister. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The food itself was ok. Our appetizers were pretty good but the rolls and fried rice were ordered were ok. The rolls we ordered felt like they were definitely made with love, just that the flavor wasn't anything to take note of. I love that this location has a full bar. They make a great gin lychee martini. The sushi is pretty standard at Sushi Sake locations. It can be a little pricey and they have a surcharge on all sauces. The service is ok. They always seem to be short staffed at the ML location. read more

I ordered the shrimp tempura roll and the Kani su. I can't rate the place for service or atmosphere since it was a pickup order, but I can about the food. I was very disappointed. I took my best friend out for dinner for her birthday. She had heard good things about Sushi Sake and said it is always PACKED on the weekends. Fortunately we visited on a Monday so that part of the experience was fine. There is ample parking in the shopping center. The restaurant itself was clean and nicely decorated in a contemporary style. I will say be careful at sunset where they seat you, we had a great table but for a bit that Florida sun was piercing right through their sun shades and my face. They sun shade did a good job at reducing the annoyance and the sun eventually set so I dealt with it but if something like that would ruin your experience I thought I should note it so you can avoid that! Service was very friendly and very helpful and they checked in on us a lot to make sure we had everything we needed! Our server was also helpful with the dessert recommendation (more on that and a picture below!). We had the Crab Rangoon appetizer, as that is my go to app anywhere it is offered. This one was superb! Great crab and cream cheese flavor! And the dipping sauce was sweet but not too spicy. Highly recommend. For sushi we had the Tempura Bagel Roll and the NFL roll. The Tempura Bagel Roll was good, not excellent just good. The NFL roll we didn't enjoy at all, the eel was chewy and thin with no enjoyable eel taste. Maybe we just got a bad eel...but they should see that when they are making it. Dessert was a star....vanilla fried ice cream topped with chocolate sauce and condensed milk and whipped cream....oh and don't forget the cherries! This thing was HUGE! Would have been plenty for 4 ppl to split...but the two of us managed to make a good dent in it. Overall, it was a good value for serviceable food. Shout out to Juan!!!! I wish every restaurant had a server like him. so, we walk in and take a seat. Surely after we are greeted by Juan our server who was filled with so many good recommendations and suggestions. They even have a sauce called Vanesa sauce. He recommended instead of eel sauce. He explained how it had a little bit of a spice to it , but it was a great sauce. Then when we wanted to place an order for a lobster roll, Juan shared other options. we also had which, of course we went with because it sounded even more incredible, and we were not disappointed. and to think this used to be a quickie stop. Food was expensive and cheap at the same time. I paid way too much for super market quality sushi, if at all. All the avocado in both our rolls was oxidized. The rice didnt taste well. We felt like eating next day sushi. All the plates we ordered were supposed to be spicy. None were spicy - by anyones standards. Very expensive for what they serve. The rolls are no bigger than a quarter and 95% rice. I ordered the tuna roll and it was a laugh the tuna was minuscule. The shrimp teriyaki roll probably had 1 small shrimp cut up to fit the entire roll again 95% rice . It would have been easier if they gave me 2 toothpicks instead of chopsticks. So as far as sushi restaurants go- Sushi Sake is usually more on the "quick and cheap" list. But this location is super cute, and the staff is always attentive and nice. I've been here many times and always have a good time. They have nice decor and plants in the patio seating area that make the outdoor area feel a little more private even though it's in a shopping plaza. It's really good Sushi for the price and the bartenders here always deliver! I can't say the same for other sushi sake locations but this one is great! read more

We went tonight for a quick dinner. The rolls were a lot smaller than usual. They came out a bit too fast like if they were already made before we ordered them. The gyoza were ok in taste but not crunchy. The busser brought 3 waters but we were for. When I asked if he could please bring another water, there was no acknowledgement or reaction from the guy. Maybe he was dead inside so when I asked a second time he still didn't reach but he seemed bothered. Luckily the waiter was good. When I got the bill. It was way more than expected. The prices are way too high for mediocre food. If you are in the area, I would recommend somewhere else like sushi bombs where the rolls are definitely more substantial than these. I went out with some family members for an early Saturday dinner. I ran across this restaurant from an ad on Instagram, and everything looked delicious. Our waitress was very friendly, attentive, and fun. Also the other servers in a restaurant we're keeping our area and table clean which was greatly appreciated. We ordered a variety of drinks; our favorite was the new seasonal hocus pocus witches brew which had an amazing flavor plus strong, but not overpowering. We ordered crab ragoons and Ebi 10 as appetizer, which tasted great! Plus the serving size of the appetizers were the perfect size for sharing. I ordered the angel sushi roll which was packed with great flavor, and stuffed with shrimp tempura and crab salad. My cousins ordered the Caliente sushi roll and the Miami Heat roll, which they enjoyed. Also the hibachi chicken fried rice was cooked very well with amazing texture and taste.
