I absolutely love coming to this little spot!! The vibe here is so chill and relaxed. There's always good music always playing, and amazing drinks and food to go along with. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. There's inside seating with the cool AC, or, you can dine outside in the "patio" area. Either inside or out, you're in for a good time.

Visited for happy hour on a Thursday. Place was really empty. The reviews have bad so I've been hesitant on checking this place out and now I see why. Yes the price on the drinks and food is good on some happy hour items but service is bad. The bartender was attentive but 1. He gave me a drink menu that wasn't used (they don't make the drinks) and 2. Prices don't match the menus. After I ordered something from the menu he gave me. He said he couldn't make any of those cocktails except the regular lychee martini. Normally in this situation good bartenders would offer to adjust the price (not a big deal for $1) but he insisted and then showed me a completely different drink menu, that didn't even include the drink I had ordered. He was just very immature and stubborn. I also ordered fried gyoza, something so simple but still came out wrong as steamed. Avoid this place if possible!

My daughter took me out to for a late dinner. It was a Friday night and no reservations but there was space an they accommodated us quickly. The hostess was not the friendliest and not very hospitable. Now our server was friendly our food came in a timely manner . Restaurant is not big inside you wouldn't think looking from the outside, but there is plenty of outside seating. we started with cocktails which were nicely prepared. We had the Lychee martini and the other one I cannot remember the name but it was with Guava. For appetizers we ordered the tenderloin Tequeños which resembled more like mini meat empanadas with no cheese. But were good. We also had the gyozas and edamame as well were good and tasty. The main course we ordered 2 different rice dishes : The cilantro seafood rice which was requested with octopus and the seafood Chaufa both plates were delicious, flavorful and a big portion.. We ordered for dessert the passion fruit mousse which was ok a little to passiony for me. Overall it was an amazing experience the restaurant is beautifully decorated and I plan to return as their menu is quite large and many other dishes I would like to try. Plenty of parking as its located in Pembroke Gardens.

This place was a vibe. It's really nice inside, the decor was beautiful. The calamari was not good, it was hard, crunchy and not enjoyable. The spicy edamame was good. The rolls we got were really good, good quality. We got espresso martinis and they were perfect. Definitely a spot I'd come back too! Also our waitress was so sweet and provided great service.

The ambiance was great , with good music on a Saturday night. And sitting outside was good with the nice weather. The best part of this was the Crab Salad Tostones and the Latin Lover Roll. Both very delicious, although the tostones came up very quick and not hot minutes after we ordered, so it had us wondering. The drinks were okay. My hubby had the guava mocktail which was pretty delicious. I had the twenty nine frose, which also had guava which is my favorite, but it was barely frozen or slushy. However it had a good amount of liquor to get to tipsy. ‍ The server was okay. He either had a lot of tables or didn't feel we were worth being checked on. After getting the food, we couldn't find him to get the will sauce that should have came with my roll. Overall, the food was good and I would t mind coming back, but maybe during an earlier time.

Went for dinner and drinks and everything was really tasty. It was a beautiful evening and the weather was fantastic so we sat outside. We started with drinks. I had a 29 Frosé and my husband had a piece of sour. All drinks were really good; warning the Frosé is very sweet. We decided to get the Aji de Gallina Tostones and they were really good. I wish there was more of the aji sauce and the Tostones could have been a little bit thinner. Then we got a sushi roll and a soup. It was really good too. We had to ask for wasabi, which may not have been fresh because it wasn't spicy at all. Everything tasted good. The waiter was very nice but for the restaurant being empty were we not checked on very often. We were ok with that because we were just enjoying drinks and having a date night. We even ordered more drinks rather than dessert. Honestly would go again. It's a great option for a chill night with great music, drinks, and food options.

Why 3 stars?!?! I've passed by it several times and liked the vibe with the music that is heard indoor and outdoor. Both seatings are available. I've been in the past for drinks at the bar area. This time we decided to eat. We got there like at 8pm and were able to get a table inside. The booth were all taken with reservations. So if you go at peak time and prefer a booth ... I suggest to make reservations. The full menu selection was calling out my name! We started with wine and calamari. The calamari could have been a little more crispy. It was ok. I was in between ordering a dish with scallops or the lobster ravioli with shrimp. The waiter suggested the lobster ravioli with shrimp. He said a lot of people order it. So I did! The dish was a hit ... kinda small with like 6 ravioli but every bite was delish and worth it! The sauce was amazing. I believe the plate cost was like $39. My friend decided on ordering the Salmon dish. It was nice and thick. I did not taste it but she said it was fresh and very good. Ok where the rating went down. The restroom is horrible!!!! With the nice ambiance and being sort of high end restaurant. The restroom did not have toilet paper nor soap in the handicapped stale! Like that should be well kept!. So because of that... they went from a possible 5 starts to like 2.5 but I'll give it a 3 since there"s no half points. The food and service were good. The waiter was attentive passing around asking if we were ok.

This restaurant has such a great design. I love the lighting and the decor. Service was pretty good although our server disappeared on us for a while. We shared a couple appetizers including crab tostones and sushi. Both were good. I hear the crab tostonrs had some great flavor. The sushi could have used more flavor. I forgot the name of the roll. I ordered a margarita and that is a hit.

My daughter chose this for her birthday dinner. She had been here before and loved it. When we walked up to the greeter stand, it was a little loud and I was worried that it was going to be loud inside. You have the option for inside or outside dining. We chose inside because it was a little cool outside. Luckily it wasn't that loud inside. We ordered Fried Calamari and Pork Nikkei Gyoza for our appetizers, both were very good. Our orders consisted of Classic Lomo Saltado & Classic Corvina Ceviche. This was the first time my husband tried the Lomo Saltado and he couldn'tstop talking about how he loved it and how tender the steak was. Lol, yay that means we will be coming back. My youngest daughter ordered the Ceviche which looked different than what she's used to and said it was ok. They will sing to someone celebrating a birthday and will bring out a dessert with a sparkler in it. It was tough trying to figure out how we were going to get our waiter's attention since we were sitting in a corner and my daughter was facing the wall which was all mirrored. Luckily she went to the bathroom and we jumped at the chance to let our waiter know that we were celebrating a birthday. Our waiter was very attentive and kept our drinks filled. We had a great time and left stuffed!

After some recommendations I decided to come in for a late dinner. It was a Friday night and we didn't have reservations but we were sat immediately. Now I have to mention that the hostess was not very friendly and didn't seem very hospitable. However our server was nice and food came pretty quick. Restaurant doesn't have much space inside and definitely looks bigger from the outside. Both of our cocktails were delicious specially the level up. Starters we had the tenderloin tequeños which were not what I expected (more like mini meat empanadas) no cheese. But they were very good. We also had the gyozas which were absolutely delicious as well. For main we had 2 rice dishes : The cilantro seafood rice with added octopus. 10/10 huge plate and everything was so tender and flavorful. The seafood Chaufa was also so delicious. For dessert we had the passion fruit mousse which was not my favorite. Overall i really enjoyed this restaurant and i would come back.

The ambience was attractive and the server was also very nice. I went on a Monday night, so maybe they didn't expect it to be busy but they had one server and they sat all the parties very close to each other. It is a big restaurant and sitting so close to so many people made me feel like I was at someone's Thanksgiving dinner at their house. Even if there was only one server, they could've spread us out just a little bit. My mother was there and loved the steak and pasta and my sister enjoyed the sushi. The portion was actually big. I thought the Loma Salado, rice and french fries were OK. I've definitely had better. Overall, I would give this place another chance. The food was good enough to try, the ambience was inviting enough, and even the solo server was sweet.

This place is very well decorated. The decor meets the theme of Latin American and Japanese mix influence. It wasn't that busy when we got there so we were seated fast. It seemed like they kind of forgot about us for I would say 30 minutes or more before someone gave us water and got our drink orders. After that the same guy that sat us down took our orders and drinks etc. The drinks were good very fruity barely any alcohol in them which is fine. The ginger salad was good. I thought it would have more ginger or something else but it was a basic greens salad. The appetizers were delicious and I got full just from that! Dessert was great as well. I will be returning to see how it is at night!

Great food definitely stick to the local specialties! The music was fantastic and the vibe was absolutely amazing. A place worth visiting again.

I heard a few odies discussing the happy hour at this place. Anyone has an idea of times and prices?

I have looked online for menu pricing and can't seem to find it anywhere? I would like to know pricing before I decide if I will be driving an hour to eat there.

Food is delicious and prices are reasonable Appetizers between $12 and $15 good portions. Beautiful place and great atmosphere.

I usually approach fusion restaurants with a healthy amount of skepticism. Too often, they feel…read morelike culinary speed dating, two cuisines forced together in the hope that chemistry magically appears. More often than not, one side dominates, the other disappears, and everybody loses. At Amazonia, a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant in Miami, that fear evaporates somewhere around the first bite. The opening argument came in the form of Gyoza Huancaína, pan-fried dumplings stuffed with lomo saltado and served with a vivid yellow huancaína sauce. It is the kind of dish that sounds gimmicky when described aloud. Then you eat it. The dumplings delivered deep savory notes from the beef, while the creamy sauce added brightness, spice, and richness. It felt less like a fusion experiment and more like a dish that had always existed. Four dumplings arrived on the plate. Four was not enough. My entrée, the Midori Risotto, continued the conversation between Japan and Peru. A strikingly green risotto made with kale and edamame arrived topped with grilled shrimp, microgreens, and dots of black garlic aioli. The rice was cooked properly, retaining a slight bite, while the edamame added texture and sweetness. The shrimp brought balance to the richness, and the black garlic aioli quietly tied everything together. It was a dish that managed to be both comforting and elegant. To drink, I ordered the Nikkei Lemonade, a blend of yuzu, Peruvian ginger, and huacatay. Bright, citrusy, and refreshing, it reset the palate after each bite and served as a reminder that the fusion extends beyond the food. My wife chose the braised short rib, a dish for diners who may not be ready to take the full leap into the restaurant's more adventurous offerings. Braised for 72 hours and served over mashed potatoes, it collapsed under the gentlest pressure from a fork. The beef was intensely flavorful, and the braising liquid was rich enough to make you consider asking for a spoon. Dessert brought one final East-meets-West moment. The Flan Nikkei paired a silky custard with miso caramel, whipped cream, and fresh strawberry. The miso added just enough savory depth to keep the sweetness from becoming predictable. It was a thoughtful ending to a meal built on thoughtful combinations. Amazonia succeeds because it understands something many fusion restaurants do not. Combining cuisines is not about piling flavors on top of one another. It is about finding where they naturally intersect. Here, Japanese precision and Peruvian boldness meet in the middle, and both emerge better for it. Fusion rarely wins me over, but Amazonia makes a compelling case for keeping an open mind.
