There are Fiji water bottles in the lobby but no sign by them. I wasn't sure if they were included in the cost of the appointment or cost extra so I didn't take one. Maybe if I was bolder, I wouldve inquired. They sell a number of sugar scrubs and other products that you can use after your sugaring/waxing appointment at home. At 2:30pm, a technician came out with another customer who'd just finished and greeted me after closing out her appointment. I was definitely nervous but my technician put me at ease with light conversation and music (they let you choose what music you want when you schedule your appointment). I had initially made my appointment for sugaring but I was told that my hairs were too short and that wax would work better. I was a bit disappointed because I'd read about sugaring, but happy that my technician was able to provide good advice. It didn't hurt nearly as much as I expected it to. I was in and out in about 45 minutes with silky smooth legs.

The facility was clean and had a calm vibe, and the receptionist was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I have already booked my next appointment.

I personally love the manager Cindy since she is so detail oriented and also fun to chat with. I also liked Raji when she was at this location. The other techs are very sweet but I feel like they miss some hair each time I go there. The salon itself is very clean and they insist on handwashing which I admire. Overall, I would highly recommend for the waxing/sugaring.

I don't know. But let me tell you a little bit more about the decision you are about to make. My first ever waxer relocated to a whole another state and I was lost for sometime. I tried to become a regular for European Wax but their service and work did not mix well with me. I am currently located at #AspenHills #Rockville and I started looking for waxers. Wanting to find a place that feels like home and a safe space to be reborn every other 4-6 weeks. When I found Magdalen's page, the reviews automatically got my attention and decided to book being that she was 13-15 min away. The BEST decision I've made all year. When you enter, this particular smell that its so deliciously delicate welcomes you. Warning, in the beginning you will be confused and nervous because her method is so different from what everyone else is doing. But trust me when I say that it's less painful and more effective. I have thick hair and it grows really fast but after my first visit with Magdalen I noticed about only 60% of my hair growing back. I was a client myself and also brought my 16-year-old daughter for treatment. The owner was unprofessional, inflexible, and provided poor customer service. When the treatment was ineffective, my daughter was made to feel as though it was her fault, which is completely unacceptable--especially when working with a minor. There was no clear plan of care, no accountability for poor results, and the equipment used does not appear to be state-of-the-art. Rather than adjusting the approach, responsibility was shifted to the client. I would walk around with a full beard before I ever give this woman another penny of my money.

I arrived to her old location first (i trusted whatever came up on my GPS) and ended up being late for my appointment. Be sure to use the location in her confirmation email! Nonetheless, I called and she was very nice about it and instructed me to go to her new location. Both her old location and new location are in Rockville. Her new location isn't in the best spot because it is hard to find parking - I kept seeing signs for "reserved" or "permit only". I ended up parking two blocks away and then walking over. Unfortunately, i missed my appointment timeslot completely because she had a client right after me, but she was so nice about situation and fit me in as soon as she found free time to. Nita is very friendly, kind, and personable. She is so sweet. She did such an amazing and efficient job. She was informative, quick, and does her best to make you feel comfortable. The waiting room is clean and cozy and there are snacks left out. I have gotten waxed at other great places before and Nita is by far my favorite thus far. After the sugaring, she asked if she could do touch ups and pluck leftover hairs with tweezers; I truly appreciate her attention to detail and how thoughtful she was. It seems like she really cares about her clients. I am so glad I found her. Her prices are affordable too.
