I trust her to the point where I don't even need to look in the mirror after to know that she did a great job. I am so excited that she has a new place. The inside is stunning and it is in such a great location with tons of shops and parking. I highly recommend if you are looking to have one of her many services done. I go to her every 4 months ish to get a lash lift and tint. Compared to other places in this area, she is very affordable and they last me a long time. The shaping on my brows was great, but unfortunately I think there may be a hygiene issue or something irritating in the aloe used afterward. I got horrible inflamed folliculitis breakouts everywhere that was threaded, especially chin, neck, and upper lip. I'm pretty upset as this was done for a special event, and I thought threading was supposed to be less likely to cause irritation for sensitive skin compared to waxing. read more

All I can say is wow--my eyebrows have never looked better! I was a bit hesitant to try a new brow artist since I'm in town, but Rekha absolutely exceeded my expectations. I went for a brow thread and tint, and the results are amazing. Rekha's attention to detail really stood out. The only small issue I had was the dye caused a bit of a burn, and since she was multitasking with another client, I wasn't able to let her know in the moment. But honestly, the end result made it totally worth it! One piece of constructive feedback: the room could maybe use some music to help ease the atmosphere, since the waiting area and where your brows get done are in the same room, which can feel a little awkward. I went to Rekha for eyebrow/upper lip threading and a brazilian wax, hoping to find a place a little less expensive than the salon near my apartment building. Overall, the studio space was clean and inviting, and Rekha was very professional and personable. She did a great job on my eyebrows and made sure to ask lots of questions about the shape/length I wanted. However, I went in with a Groupon for the eyebrows and wax, but upon arriving Rekha informed me that she would only accept one Groupon since the vouchers are "for promotional purposes" and Groupon doesn't pass a lot of profits to the servicer. This is definitely understandable, but I was annoyed as this was not mentioned in the Groupon policies on her website, and she didn't mention this when texting me prior to the appointment (even though she said she had seen my note about planning to use Groupon when I booked my appt online). This started my appointment off on a frustrating note, but I decided not to beleaguer the point since I only paid $13 on Groupon (although now I have a trade in credit that I'm not sure when I'll use...) The rest of the appointment was pretty smooth, the wax was a little more painful than others I've received but overall Rekha definitely knows her stuff and is very experienced. I took an additional star off though because I asked for a triangle on the front and received a strip that just looked like a few stray hairs had been forgotten. Not a huge deal, but I did mention that I don't like looking like a pre-pubescent girl down there... and then that's what I got. Overall I would recommend Rekha for threading (and maybe waxing), and maybe would return if the salon was closer to me. It's been really hard for me to find one person that can do it all WELL - eyebrows, threading, waxing and lash lifts. I am so happy to have found Rekha! I've been really worried about getting services done during COVID, especially threading. But Rekha is amazing! She is SO clean, COVID cautious and very accommodating. Upon arrival she makes you use hand sanitizer, checks your temperature and then cleans up right away after you're done. She is also double masked and threads without using her mouth. This made my whole first experience so much less stressful! Before my appointment, I had asked her a TON of questions. And she was so patient and sweet with me! I explained to her that I had a recent bad experience with an eyebrow wax. And just like that, she made sure to not make any of the same mistakes and so quickly at that! My eyebrows were done perfectly! I also had a lash lift with her and again, so quick and yet done beautifully. She has a great eye for eyebrow and lash design! Definitely skilled in what she does and I can't wait to try more of her services. Her studio is in a brand new salon suite studio. Parking is plentiful and easy! Prices are reasonable. I have had my share of botched brow appointments in the rockville area and was about to give up on brow lamination altogether but im glad yelp led me to Rekha. she spent time talking to me about what i wanted before getting started, and she kept checking with me during the process to make sure i was comfortable (previous brow laminations at a nearby brow place gave me chemical burns, so i was really nervous). What can I say, Rekha and her place are amazing in every way! I have never been to an eyebrow location before I went to Rekha. But after seeing how I looked in a cartoon picture drawn of me, I finally decided to look into a place I can go to. I narrowed my choices to 4 locations. But Rekha's place was the only place that had an online scheduling system that made everything so convenient. Once getting to the site, I had no idea what to select from the menu since I had no experience. So I decided to call. Rekha was so nice to me and did not judge me for not knowing what to pick and she gladly let me know exactly what to select. Then, upon showing up, the place was so beautifully clean and comfortable. Rekha, herself, also lived up to every nice review she has received. Lastly, she has this amazing, nice and calm voice that put me at ease during the minor pain that I experienced. Finally, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, she did an AMAZING job with my eyebrows and I left with my eyebrows looking exactly how I wanted them.
