This place just does not miss. I had texted Marie on Monday asking if she had any appointments available for Tuesday after 5pm. She said she didn't and that I could come in on Friday. I agreed, but Tuesday worked better for me because I was in the area. She called me again and said that Christine (I believe that was her name) has availability at 5:15pm on Tuesday which worked for me! Remembering they close at 5:30, but she decided to open shop late for me. I walked in my appointment at exactly 5:15 and picked out a color. She informed me of the new OPI's vegan summer collection. It was either between Big Blossom Energy or the usual OPI Funny Bunny. Of course the pedicure was impeccable. The perfect amount of scrubbing, massaging, and lathering a girl could ask for after a long day at work. I mainly wanted to get a pedicure to get a foot massage from all the walking I was doing recently and she did not disappointment. I went with Big Blossom Energy because it was perfect for the summer vibes! I always leave this salon looking and feeling glamorous. A 30 minute pedicure here, is never rushed or felt rushed. It actually took about 45 minutes to an hour to make sure the nail polish was dry and ready to go. Honestly, like I said this salon does not miss or disappoint. I wish it was a bit closer so I could go frequently, but unfortunately it's a bit far for me. I'm also writing this review 2 weeks after I got my pedicure and it's still as perfect as it was since I had gotten it. Marie and Emily are the greatest!! This place just opened up 4 months ago and I found this place from a groupon deal! I got the manicure and pedicure package and made an appointment. When I walked in? Everyone was welcoming! I came in about 30mins early and they sat me in the chair and ran some water for me! They even gave me tea. The place is so clean and this is a one stop shop! They do facials and hair cuts. The only thing they do not do is arcylic so don't come here for that services. They do gel and dipping powder. No fill ins ok. One lady came in and thought they did but they don't. There was so many people getting massages here!!! I was tempted to get one done but I did not have the time! My pedicure came out so good! And my gel manicure!!! They have a machine that dries your nails quick! I am so shocked about that. They will definitely see me again. The level of customer service and care I receive each time is amazing. Highly recommended! I come for facials and massages. Marie has done wonders for me on the full body massage (acupressure and hot stone). She is so polite and a pleasure, she really makes sure you are relaxed and gaining full benefit in each area. I have been going to Tranquility Salon and Spa for the past year, primarily for the Brazilian wax service. I am big baby when it comes to waxing, but Marie is so gentle and does an amazing job! They were able to squeeze me in for a mani-pedi appointment on a busy Saturday which I really appreciated. Marie did my manicure and as you can see in the photos, it was done carelessly and inattentively. I pointed out that my cuticles were not clean and I didn't want polish on top of cuticles and she dismissed me by saying cutting off too much would give me hang nails. I'd take hangnails over a sloppy manicure but on to the pedicure! Pedicure was done by Jenny who gave a wonderful massage. I opted to have pumice (not to have the cheese grater looking tool to shave skin off) to clean my feet but was disappointed to see that what she did have and use was a very worn down sandpaper file. Toes were done almost as sloppy but my annoyance looking at how poorly my manicure was done, made me insist she take the time to tidy up the cuticles. My gel manicure started to peel from my index finger now, on day 3, assumedly from when she applied coats of polish on my skin and didn't bother to clean up before setting it. I won't be returning. I only give two stars - 1- for them taking the time to squeeze me in and, 2- for the foot massage. read more

I came in today to get a gel manicure and pedicure and had a wonderful experience. The salon just opened, and it is a cute space that is very clean. Both the woman who did my mani and pedi were attentive, friendly and very gentle! The massage I got on my legs during the pedicure was fantastic. Would definitely recommend! They have some groupons available now as they are trying to build their client base as they are so new! I found Trainquility Salon & Spa from Groupon, and I'm so happy because it's located very conveniently close to my house. I went for a wax and SNS (dipping powder) manicure and the owner (I called her "ah yi" in Chinese) was incredibly nice and professional. She explained that the business is very new and she was looking for new clients and so I told her that I'd spread the word for her. After a dental appointment, I had scheduled a waxing session. As a new client and with the pandemic going on, it was almost like none of that matter for a second. From the moment I entered the door Ms.Marie was very welcoming and cheerful and ensured all safety COVID measures were in placing by taking my temperature, providing Sanitizer, and a freshly cleaned room. What was suppose to be a routine session turned into a very delightful pampering session. After waxing did a facial & massage. The facial itself has no words to describe how truly OUTSTANDING it was. I cannot more highly recommend the deep tissue massage at Tranquility Salon & Spa (specifically as provided by Jenny). I didn't have to tell her where my pain was; she found all of the knots on her own and worked through them. She was very strong and wonderfully merciless. She also used heating pads on areas waiting to be massaged. I'm very satisfied and will definitely go back. Background info: I'm a climber and a long-time lifter. I frequently pull my muscles and throw my back out. I've had hundreds of massages, most of which are weak and nonspecific (they're clearly just blindly going through a set procedure). Received a gel manicure and Brazilian wax here on two separate locations. Both times were the technicians pleasant, kind, and not overly pushy about their services. My gel manicure took about over an hour, and is one of the better manicures I've had. She was very detailed and made sure every part of the nail was buffed, filed and clean before proceeding to the next step. I received a groupon to this salon/spa for a 60 minute massage. I had called a day before to schedule an appointment with Jenny. As soon as I walked in, they were able to take me into the room and get me started. Jenny is a really great massage therapist. She asked me what she wanted me to work on and it was very relaxing. She made sure that the pressure wasn't too hard or soft and it was really great. There have been places that do not treat you as kindly when you walk in with a groupon, but the staff of this place were really kind and welcoming. Only issues I have is that the location is kind of small, so my massage room was right across from people getting pedicures. It would have been nice to be in a room that was farther back and quieter. I'm shocked by how long lasting that my gel manicure turned out to be that I just had to write a yelp review. I got the mani pedi on 11/15 right before my vacation. Both are still intact with slight chips here and there, but still looks as if I just got them! You can definitely tell that my nails have been growing, otherwise- still look just as new. This place can be a little hard to find, but well worth the effort. Chloris does great haircuts - my wife found her and I've been going to Tranquility ever since (every couple months for the last year). The place is clean and the service is very friendly and professional. It's easy to get an appointment and I think they also do walk-ins. I just went there again on Saturday with our teenage son. I purchased a Living Social in March for a No chip Manicure and Whirlpool Pedicure. I was pleased with Jenny doing the Pedicure. The person doing the Shellac was not as good did not last only a week for some nails. I was on vacation could not go in to have the 2 fixed. I purchased another Living Social a couple of months ago same service. There was nothing in the Living Social that said it was for new customers only I tried making an appointment this afternoon said I could not use it since I was there in March..The women manager stated that she knew that there was no stipulation about New Customers only. I think this is bad business practice since there are a lot of nail salons in the area that you do not have to walk up a flight of stairs. To all of you who use Living Social or Groupon be aware. Chlorise has been doing my hair for as long as I can remember. She always does a great job and is very particular (which you want in a hair stylist!). She takes extra time to make it perfect. I knew Marie prior to Tranquility, as she's been doing my mom and I's nails for years at another salon. She's absolutely great - does such a good and thorough job. Safe to say, we followed her to Tranquility when she moved. Today I had booked just a manicure, AND she was able to squeeze in a full pedicure for me too. I had sports massage type of thing and I could readily feel that these people don't know how to massage. They probably think pushing hard is the sports massage. I came back with more muscle soreness and my body felt much worse after getting the massage. My husband did swedish and he told me it was below average. read more

Wonderful new place! I expect it will be full of clients very soon. I had a spa day with my teenage daughter for her birthday. Owner goes above and beyond making sure you are happy and satisfied. I had a shellac mani (my first) and a regular pedi. My teenage daughter had a French mani and regular pedi. The results are beautiful. I also had a 60 minute massage which was very relaxing and just the right pressure. My daughter also had full foils. The end result was stunning and just what she wanted. Owner gave very good advice on caring for the treated hair so it wouldn't become damaged. The best part was how relaxing this small, clean place is. Owner and employee were very friendly and totally focused on our treatments without all the chit chat and gossip. My daughter and I loved this as we could just relax and luxuriate in our treatments. I did a gel mani and whirlpool pedi before Mother's Day via a Groupon deal. It's my worst, lousy, messy and unprofessional service that I ever had. My nail chipped within 4 days. She missed all of the corners of the nails. The lady who did it was uncertified and she barely clean any of my cuticles. She was 55+ yrs old and felt like she can't see well.
