This is a good place to stop at for beer and pub food when in the area. My son and I came in for a bite and some beer on a Saturday evening. It was not that busy, and we sat at the bar. The barmaid/waitress was friendly and helpful. I ordered the amber ale and Cyndy's shrimp po boy sandwich. Both were fine. I also had a pint of the May Day Hefe, which I enjoyed. Amber Lantern is more like a town bar instead of a brewery but that is ok. There were many older men in there who seem like they maybe go every night and they were all drinking bottled beer instead of the craft options. Also some locals doing shots very early in the night on a weeknight. Made for a good show while we waited 45 minutes for a quesadilla and a burger. The burger was advertised as a smash burger but it wasn't smashed which was bizarre. Quesadilla was good for bar food. Beer tasted like 2005 but that's fine by me. read more

Dropped in for Lunch, first time at this place. Wow, the bartender had quite an interesting vocabulary of words you would expect out of the mouth of a sailor not a petite server. Be prepared for a more eclectic type of experience I'm still clutching my pearls. Ordered Onion Ring Appetizer. They came out overdone for my taste,, my other half turned up his nose at them. Most importantly, the owner of the restaurant came to the bar at least twice and appeared drunk. He was incredibly rude to a group who entered the bar after us. I stopped in here for a quick dinner on the way back from Letchworth to find that they were out of most of their menu items which wasn't a good start. They had almost none of their appetizers or soups and I really wanted a bowl of their French Onion. I ended up ordering the Tiger wrap which was just okay but nothing special. They were out of french fries and onion rings so I went with the sweet potato fries which were pretty good but a little soggy. It wasn't a stellar experience, I'm not sure I'd go back and if I did I'll make sure the horde of hungry folks I must have followed that day aren't there before I come so there's some food left in the place. read more

We've been going there for years (1.5 hour drive 1 way). They have great hamburgers and as we all know, prices have skyrocketed. But pricing aside, our last visit we were extremely disappointed. The burger was excellent as usual, but the wings were horrible-over cooked, dry and small. But the real kicker was our service. We were one of 2 couples in the bar, out bartender/waitress was too busy on her cell phone to bother with good service. We asked for an extra 0late to share the burger but she said we don't have any plates-really, what is that thing under our burger-a PLATE. Then we had to ask for a knife. Never ca e back to see if we needed anything (still on cell phone) so when we asked for our check, she said come up to the bar to get it. My wife mentioned that the wings were terrible with no response from waitress. My wife grabbed the check, we looked at total and was told by the waitress to bring it up to the bar. At which point we said, no-it's on the table along with your one dollar tip. I hope the owner sees this review because the pub is generally very nice with good service and decent food. read more

We stopped for dinner here with our 3 dogs, knowing it was dog friendly. They have a small outdoor patio in essentially an alley between two buildings with 2 picnic tables and a few other chairs. In an unusual twist, you have to walk through the restaurant to get to the door that led outside. It had rained recently, so the waitress was diligently wiping off one of the picnic tables for us. She was just about done and said "you can sit inside if you'd be more comfortable". Umm, with the dogs? Yep. So we took the first table inside the front door, appropriately socially distant. This is like an old time tavern that added a nanobrewery and upped its food game. Some of the best onion rings I've had anywhere. I had a generous salad with mandarin oranges, cashews and a grilled chicken breast on top (which one of the dogs thoroughly enjoyed for his dinner). Hubby had a wrap which he liked but wished it was a bit larger. But, what makes this place is how outgoing and friendly the staff were. It was like being welcomed into someone's living room. They even took the dogs' photos and put them on their Facebook page. We'll be back next time we are near Warsaw! read more

Fun, spur of the moment date night spot. A quick drive from Attica and located on Main St in Warsaw this was so convenient. The inside was okay nothing special. Our server was very friendly and suggested their house brewed beers which were all very flavorful. We started off with two beers and some deep fried pickles which were delish. For dinner I ordered a fish fry with a side of Mac n cheese/fries while my boyfriend ordered a big burger with chips. My family and I were traveling to Letchworth State Park and found this nice little Bar & Restaurant. They were very professional and courteous to us. They have pet friendly outdoor seating. I'm not from the area, so I pulled up the yelp app to figure out where to go. The food here was very good, the chili was delicious, not too spicy. I also had a wrap, and I'm not a wrap person, but I found it to be very good. My waitress who I believe was named Sandy, or candy, (something like that, it was on the receipt i think), was very helpful considering I know nothing about beer. She brought me two that were both good. I awkwardly without realizing it, sat myself next to the owners doing a job interview, so I apologize ahead of time if I threw that process off. As an educator who has been involved with the hiring of teachers and teachers aides, the candidate seemed very good so I think you should probably hire her. Haha. read more

My boyfriend and I were really excited to try this place but as soon as we walked in I was not treated well. When I asked the bartender to tell me what was in a cocktail she stared at my boyfriend the whole time which wasn't a huge deal. Then she asked me for my ID and I understand that it's a little weird to see an out of state ID so she asked for a second form which luckily I had my passport.
