Food Food is hit or miss, I have had the same beef on wick which was excellent once and mediocre the second time with the dry beef that disappoints. Service Service is hit or miss, I have had attentive servers and I have had to chase my server down like a baby sitter. First clue was when the server asked if I wanted a New glass when I wasn't finished with the drink, and took my unfinished drink to refill. Hello! If the person isn't finished with the drink and the glass isn't empty just bring a new drink. Service 101. Maybe they could google it. Then the drink didn't arrive 3 min...5 min...10 min...maybe she passed away..Nope she's in the kitchen the drink is under the tap sitting...the bar tender is texting on her phone..didn't even turn around... Ahem.... cough...cough... 20 minutes..finished...25.... 30 She's not coming back.. Server never returned to check on us, had to go in and ask for the check, now 2 tables, four servers and a bartender.... After paying the server, she made a bee line to that table to check for her tip though....Who is paying for this staff without even training them to do their job? The absolute worst Wings I have had in years. Hire a New Cook!!! Service was nice but I question how our server would even consider serving us the Wings! We Ordered extra Crispy as a precaution but they were barely done, they looked like they were boiled!!! Just Nasty!!! read more

The view: 4/5 The food: 2/5 The service however pushed this down to 2 - 2.5 stars. Our server was utterly confused and ran off at random times when we were ordering. When they charge what they do given their location, the service does not get a pass. You get soup or salad with the entrees. I chose the salad. It was the typical 90% iceberg lettuce and 10% croutons. I recommend you go with the soup instead. Someone ordered the housemade chips. These were very good - crisp and a little salty. They were served with what I am guessing was a Buffalo ranch dipping sauce. I would order these again. For my entree, I ordered the Cajun haddock with double veggies (instead, I could have chosen mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes or french fries as a side along with the vegetables). It was meh. The haddock tasted fresh but it was overall quite bland. I had to ask for lemon to squeeze on top to fix it up a touch. My dining companions who got the sausage pasta dish and steak enjoyed their meals. And then there was my friend who ordered the Salmon (prepared Chef's choice). When you've been eating out as often as I do, you (along with your arteries) are hardened. You think you have seen it all in the upstate NY food scene. And then you see a chef prepare salmon with crushed kiwi and kiwi slices on top. You quietly utter "WTF" as you thank your lucky stars that you didn't order that. Just...no. If you are about to order the Salmon, please ask the server ahead of time as to how the chef will be preparing it. In all fairness, the salmon was edible, albeit a little sweet after my friend scraped off as much of the kiwi as possible. A few people got dessert (they aren't made in house). I sampled the Red Velvet. It was okay. I would just get the housemade chips for dessert too....maybe with a caramel sauce. On the fly salted caramel potato chips? Yeah, I am that good. And that addicted to salted caramel. I might go back if my dining companions who live around there would like to. However, I am going to pay the extra money for the steak and request we sit outside to enjoy the beautiful view. read more

Stopped for dinner last evening after spending the day at Stoneybrook Park. Unbeatable view of lake from patio! Service was awesome, friendly and efficient. Several good options on menu and specials. Three of us had the prime rib special, served with a very good salad with mixed greens, green beans and choice of potato for $17. All of us really enjoyed it! Skip the French fries, not spectacular- go with the mashed sweet potatoes or another option. One person had shrimp and scallops that were guile good. Stopped in for a drink and was so pleasantly surprised but the amazing Mascati ( bread filled with sausage, spinach, onions, cheese and garlic), that Denise had made. It came with their homemade spaghetti sauce for dipping, which was soooo good. We had some great extra crispy wings too. Love the Club!!! read more

I was here for an engagement party so I am not sure about the prices, but this place sure has a view which is very nice. They have outdoor seating so on a nice day you can eat and watch the water and enjoy the weather. The bartenders were not very friendly basically what do you and hurry up gives it to you so you go away. There was salad, cole slaw, baked beans and chicken to eat. The cole slaw was kind of soupy not a fan of that. Also each person had to take a half a chicken because that is how it was cooked should have cut it again if you only wanted a little or if you just wanted dark meat or white you could have that option. A lot of chicken went to waste because it was so much also it was kind of dry. The place is decorated very nice and a nice cool place to come to grab food but it isn't the best food you could have and the service is kind of slow. If I had another option I would decide to go somewhere else. read more

Open under new ownership since last summer (June 2018) The Club At Silver Lake is trying to step up its game. With the new owner, manager and event coordinator the restaurant is open Thursdays and Fridays through the winter when in the past it was totally closed. Living nearby my husband and I dine there frequently in the summer. Last night we enjoyed a lovely Valentine's Day dinner. The restaurant was prettily decorated in red and white with fresh flowers on each table. Even the fireplace mantle was adorned with pretty decorations. There was a special menu for the evening. My husband ordered the stuffed shrimp and I had the scallops done with a melba sauce. We both chose the mashed sweet potatoes instead of a baked potato and candied baby carrots accompanied our meals. We started with the usual salad and rolls. Both entrees arrived hot and delicious! The scallops were done perfectly and my husband said the shrimp was wonderful. Even the carrots were done just right, not too soft, not too hard. To top it all off we had complimentary champagne and creme de menthe sundaes! Can't go wrong with a treat like that! Almost forgot - great martini selections. Signs advertised a special St. Patrick's Day lunch and a Comedy/Dinner Buffet night. We look forward to seeing what summer brings and dining out on the deck - best view ever on this lake. read more

We go here often for dinner. The food is great and the service has improved tremendously. Thursday night is trivia night and it's lots of fun! Casual menu on Thursdays with lots of sandwiches and salads. Friday fish is also good. Great view, especially outside. read more
