Fun, casual, kid and dog friendly community watering hole that offers a huge selection of craft beers. Craft beers from around the world, draft wine, hard seltzers, ciders and wine slushies available to enjoy on site or to take home. Aurora Brew Works has the biggest selection of craft beer and significantly lower prices than the other local beer stores. The selection is always changing so there is never a lack of newness. Cans are sold individually so it is easy to be adventurous and try new varieties from craft breweries. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are awesome at making recommendations and know a lot about their products. If you decide to indulge in-store there is a small uncorking fee per drink. If you prefer craft beers on tap, pull up a seat, there are always plentiful options available in multiple sized pours ranging from a healthy taste to an indulgence. If beer isn't your thing there are a few wines and ciders on tap, wine slushies and hard seltzers. Just like the beer you can often find the newest flavors of hard seltzer in the cooler so you can try before committing to a 12 pack. I was recently able to try the Truly fruit punch and it was delightful. The wine slushies are refreshing and delicious, a great summery drink. You will find plenty of seating options indoors and outdoors. Indoor seating is located at the front of the store and downstairs, help yourself to a board game. Outside there are Adirondack chairs and picnic tables where you are free to seat yourself. Since they do not have a food menu you are free to bring your own take out. This is a great option if you are on the long but worth it wait list to get into Bar Bill. If you are checking this place out for the first time, I have some tips. If your selection isn't in the cooler you can have it chilled on site in about 5 minutes. Check out their online store where you can order and pick up in store or have it shipped. Some highlights of our finds here include the largest local selections from Other Half, and occasionally they have Heady Topper and Focal Banger from the Alchemist Beer in Vermont.

This is a great beer store with a very extensive collection of micro brews and craft beers. You can buy one out of each pack to try them out, which is awesome. They also have a small bar and a few seats inside if you want a pint or two.

This is the coziest bar I've ever stepped foot in. Truly, it's like I am in the basement of the hose that I wish I owned. The upstairs of Aurora Brew Works is a beer shop selling bottled beers in packs for you to take home, but it also has a bar where you can just chill and they have a few tables and board games upstairs as well. The real fun, in my opinion, is the basement! Leather couches are broken up into sections where you can just unwind with some video games on big screen TVs. I am not a gamer by any means, but I got down with a game of Tetris and it was so much fun! There's a bar downstairs as well and the bartender was so friendly and efficient! They offer the option to renting the space out as well for your next event. I wish this place was closer to home because it would definitely be my weekly hang out spot.

Absolutely love this place. Their German lager was delicious and the food... OMG. We ordered the mushroom pizza which was to die for, and the smoked wings were delicious too. We also got the pork nachos which were yummy! I was lucky to be able to snap some pics before we devoured the food!

Aurora Brew Works is a very cool establishment. It's a beer store but ALSO a bar, where you can sit and sip a tasty brew. There is a huge selection of beer to satisfy anyone's palate. I tried a Ten Fidy Imperial Stout. It was delicious and is my new favorite beer. (I prefer dark beer.) I also tried a Double Coffee Milk Stout from Hamburg Brewing Company. That was delicious too. I bought a Strawberry French Toast beer and S'Mores beer from Decadent Ales to try at another time. I sat outside at one of their patio tables with friends. The staff was very nice. I'll definitely be back!

It was my first time to Buffalo so naturally I needed to get some Buffalo wings. I went to another…read morerestaurant first, which I won't name but the wings were not good so the next day I tried Bar Bill. Let me tell you, these were some of the best wings I ever had! The restaurant itself is pretty small so it can get packed. As a girl from Michigan I do love ranch, but I was told their Bleu cheese was homemade so I used the bleu cheese and it was delish. Overall a great spot for wings, will definitely be back next time I'm in the Buffalo area. Forgot to take pics :(

I am only reviewing the Beef in Weck, a rare thin sliced roast beef sandwich on a kummelweck roll,…read morewhich has kosher salt and caraway seeds. The top half of the roll often has horseradish spread and it is dowsed with au jus or those are served on the side. The sandwich is local, originating in Buffalo but you can get them in Rochester too. The sandwich comes in three sizes, large, medium and sliders. Choosing the medium, the portion of roast beef was generous. So generous, in fact, that the roll was too small for the sandwich. It was served with au jus to the side and potato chips. The roast beef, allegedly freshly made, tasted clayish. Salt was the dominant flavor, hardly any caraway seed flavor. About half way into the sandwich, I wondered if there was any horsedsdish on the bun. Truly, it was hard to tell, but if there was, it was overwhelmed by the salt along with the caraway. Perhaps there was too much meat for the roll? Lazy caraway seeds? Not enough horseradish? Whatever, it was, at best, disappointing. Now I didn't try anything else and other diners seemed happy plus service was prompt and helpful, the setting friendly and pleasant, so I am reluctant to give two stars but that's actually a more accurate grade for the sandwich. Try the restaurant, but skip the Beef on Weck.

Parking and Main Street is extremely difficult due to the popularity of these places so we parked down behind the store in a large community parking lot and walked up through the alley to the front door. If only those people out on the street knew what they were missing, they would give up their spot in line and join us at this great little restaurant instead! 189 Burger is well known for its expansive beer menu, but we were only interested in the burgers. I was intrigued by the description of the Bang Bang Burger. It came topped with Bang Bang sauce, cheddar cheese and Calabrian butter and crispy onions. Absolutely delicious! The uneven wooden floors, and the rough beams throughout the dining rooms is absolutely charming. Today we were seated on the outdoor porch to enjoy the spectacular weather! We ordered a small c&p pizza for our small boys, and a basket of calamari for them to share. Let's just say they're not quite ready for calamari, but the pizza they deemed to be quite delicious. My husband loves their broiled Cajun fish, fry so he ordered it again today. He got the baked sweet potato and mentioned how delicious it was. I went with the Greek Chicken Salad, a sheer delight with Greek dressing as well as tzatziki. The salad itself was built on a base of fresh mixed spring lettuces topped with pickled banana peppers, fresh grape tomatoes, sweet purple onions, sliced cucumbers. The grilled chicken cutlet was cut julienne and was strewn on top. Everything that I love in a salad. The plate was also garnished with a stack of baked flatbread triangles, which were nice and crisp!
