Finally, they said since it was summer, and they were doing so many lawn mowers that people needed right away, would we mind waiting? To be agreeable, my husband said sure. In the Fall, we were delivered, when neither of us was home to receive it, "our" snow plow- except it wasn't ours. It was the same brand and type of plow, but it was rusty and dented, with old rusted wheels, and ours was sparkly brand new- looking. My husband called to try to get our rightful plow back, and they said it was ours. It is not! BEWARE! Keep your model number number handy, if you need a repair, so you can identify your equipment! I am fair, and to be fair, this rusty snow plow does start up and run. But it's still not ours. I wonder who has ours...

Clearly seemed to be an electrical problem (loose wire,??). They couldn't send someone to take a quick look at it, so they had to bring it in. Two weeks later, still no word on the status of the tractor. Finally, I went and checked on it to find out it had been fixed two days previously. (Thanks for letting me know). By the way it was just a loose wire. Had to pay a landscaper to mow my lawn twice while making payments on a brand new tractor. Definitely will use another dealer who has a little more consideration for their customers.

I had them repair a snowblower of mine that wasn't working quite properly. I was charged…read moreapproximately $400 to fix what was probably a minor problem on a snowblower that cost me $800 originally new. When I got the machine back I found that there was a stripped screw on the auger belt drive pulley on the guard above it. I spoke with the folks at the service department there they said they were going to take care of it and frankly they never did and then ghosted me. This was 2 years ago I have since learned to fix my own machine as a result. Today I took it apart to try and see if anything needed replacing for the winter and out of the bottom of the machine fell the screw that was stripped and the two washers that went with it. The guy who dropped them in there didn't even bother to retrieve them he just closed everything up and thought everything was fine. Over the past winter my machine would not engage and disengage properly. Probably because those parts got under the break for the auger break and forced it into place causing my belts to burn. I spent most of the winter with an auger that I could not disengage and didn't find this out until today. I can't say enough about learning to fix things yourself because going to Bentley Brothers isn't going to get the job done.
