The technicians do a decent job on manicures & pedicures, but there never seems to be enough workers. If you plan to have anything done with acryIic nails, your best bet is to call ahead and make an appointment. I've only ever seen 1 nail tech do acrylics. I only go in the mornings, so it may be different in the evenings. Also, even though the posted opening time is 0930, don't bother showing up at that time. A friend of mine and I had scheduled an appointment for Thursday about three weeks prior actually maybe four weeks. Something came up in both of our schedules last minute that was going to prevent us from keeping that appointment. So the day before the appt, (Wednesday), my friend called the salon to cancel the appointment and to see if Andy had time for us that day. He did. So she went in at 11:30 and then he had time for me at 1:30. When I came in, Kevin (owner) said what do you need. I said I'm good, I'm here to see Andy and my friend is with him now. I proceeded to walk back over by them. Next thing I know Kevin is talking, I'm sorry YELLING in his language at, I'm assuming Andy and the lady that was there. (Which turned out to be his wife). She kept looking at me as he was yelling so I started to get the feeling it was about me for some reason. I had no idea what I could possibly have done to create such a nasty environment. Kevin eventually got up from his table, left his client, walked towards the back still YELLING. My friend informed me that before I got there she was told that we weren't allowed to walk in anymore for an appointment. (Even though in big letters on front door it says WALK INS WELCOME.) We would have to schedule the day before. I'm like OK well, I don't typically schedule appointments, I usually always walk in. But we just happened to schedule that appointment for the following day a month prior because my friend was coming to town. But something changed in her schedule as did mine last minute so we had to cancel it. We did not miss an appointment that was made, we canceled an appointment that was made for the following day. Apparently that was a huge problem to Kevin. So as he walked past me, glaring at me with a dirty look on his face and yelling, I finally said is there a problem that you're having with me right now? And that's when he started to yell at me that how dare we make an appointment, that he held that time for us and he would not be able to fill it with somebody else. (Of course he could fill the appointment. A customer will walk in and take it no problem. We each had an hour appointment. It's not like we booked half the day away. It's right before the holidays. I strongly doubt he would have a problem filling that time. I truly have never heard of such a thing.) I said, we canceled it today. The appointment is not till tomorrow. It's not like we scheduled an appointment and just didn't show up. We did give you the courtesy of canceling it 24 hours ahead and now you're going to yell at me and treat me like this in front of people in your salon? Seriously? He says I'm the owner and manager. So I guess that makes him think it's OK to yell at people. Well, it is not OK! I am a licensed cosmetologist and I worked in a salon for 29 years and never in my life have I ever spoken to a customer that way nor have I heard the owner/manager talk to a customer in the way he spoke to us. There are many different choices for nail salons out there and I will be happy to spend my money elsewhere at this point. It just makes me sad because Andy, who did my nails is very good at his job. It's really a shame that his boss is running his clients away. Kevin needs to learn how to be respectful to people if he wants to have a successful business. Quite frankly every time I've gone in there it's very slow compared to other places I have gone. I've also seen other negative reviews about his behavior. He lost two REGULAR customers. Was supposed to be a fun girls trip to have our nails done with my sister in law and 2 nieces. We called in advance and made an appointment. When we arrived, the man sitting in the front seemed bothered that we were there. We were told to go pick a color. All 4 of us had different nail techs and all 4 of us had an issue with one thing or another. For me personally, the man nail tech I had was very short and rude. 3 more customers walked in while we were getting ours done and bad went from worse! It was now time to rush us out of there so they could go on to the others. My finger was rubbed raw and bleeding from careless filing, the water I was given to "soak" in was ice cold. He did replace it when I told him how cold it was however he might as well have skipped the water all together because my fingers were in the water literally long enough to get wet. In addition to everything else, I paid more because I had tips put on which wasn't a problem but because of the rush job we were receiving, myself and my niece didn't even get lotion let alone a hand massage like the other 2 in our party received. We visit the area several times a year and all of us will be finding a better place with more professional friendly staff. read more

Very disappoint with the service with kevin. He's very unprofessional and so rude! I like to do mommy/ daughter fun days and he seem so frustrated that i brought my daughter in. He is a smoker and i believe that he's going through withdraws and could be a reason for being so rude. He smells like cigs which isn't what i wanted to smell. He will also stop to go smoke BEFORE he is even done with you or while you are washing your hands. He raise his voice at me because he was busy and i was asking for appointment. He has NO respect for his customers. His work was good but now not so much since he rushes to get to the next customer. Treat me bad, i can handle it but don't you ever treat my daughter with no respect. He is one of the worst nail salons I've been too! Warning people to stay away. read more

I went to this salon with a 10 am appointment for a pedicure and gel manicure. My pedicure did not even start until 10:30 am. The pedi was fine except the lady scrubbed the side of my foot raw. My gel manicure is the worst! I asked her to clean the polish off of my skin as she was doing the manicure to which she told me she would at the end. Which anyone who does gel knows that should be impossible because it should be set at the end. Once we got the the end I mentioned it again and she told me she does it on purpose so when it starts to grow out you don't notice as much!! I explained to her that is not how it works. Once it grows out it will start to lift and then peel off. Her response was if that happens I can just come back and see her to fix it!! Well I work 2 jobs, so I its hard to just come back in and fix something that should be done right! Needless to say once I went home and did dishes and washed my hair the polish was starting to pull up from my skin and peel. read more
