Stopping to get items on the top shelf. Other shopers helping other shoppers. Very twilight zone moment and overall Very impressed. I was there picking up those last minute items. Flowers, Food and Fireball. The parking lot was packed. The carts were almost gone and everything was being tossed into carts. The check out line was all the way down isle 15. It was a sight to behold. But believe it or not it actually was not horrible. There was a women calling out open lanes. We moved at a decent speed. I waited no more than 15 minutes. All the patrons were jovial to each other as they waited in line. Being the holiday and time of day I think helped people understand it was going to be an event. Great experience for how chaotic the day was. Great work Schnucks.

The outside aisles perimeter is mainly fresh items and nicely presented. I buy their produce and it's fresh and tasty. (Don't be mistaken this isn't superior quality like you will find in a Schnucks or Dierbergs, but it's good). I love their premade dip selections. They have quite a few options ranging from Mexicali, Spinach Artichoke, Hummus, and other specialty flavors. This is my go to to bring to parties and get togethers. You will not find these dips at other big box stores. I buy their meat and have always had good meat. Beef, chicken and seafood. Nice quality. The paper goods are much more cost effective than other stores. I buy all my baggies, foil, wax paper, etc. here. This store is clean and as stocked as can be. It's been harder in current times. I recommend going early in the day if you can before the shelves clear out. Checking out is super fast! You pack your own bags, I recommend bringing your reusable bags. You can also purchase bags at checkout.

Their fresh food is fresh, the meet department is very helpful, and they have good variety over all. I have been frustrated at times by this location not carrying things other locations do. My biggest complaint has been relocating items. A couple years ago they redid the floors, updated the walls, and did a massive reorganization. That about did me in!!! They still will randomly change where something is. I think customer satisfaction should be more important than marketing experimentation. That said, the thing I most appreciate is the staff. They have so many employees that have been there "forever". That says a lot. I like supporting businesses that treat their employees well and I appreciate the employees at this store. Just last week I also noticed 3 young new employees with autism employed there. They did a great job, and I was thrilled Schnucks was clearly going out of their way to employ them.
