This place is awful. I had a better experience at the DMV. I arrived at 8:15a for a brain MRI. 9:25am and I'm still waiting. Why? The doctor hasn't arrived yet. That's a blatant disregard of the patients time. I have had 7 doc appts in the last 1.5 years and maybe I have been extra lucky but this is the first time I encounter this DMV like service. They did not send my results. I was told the results would be in that same day. I had to follow up myself for 2 weeks. They claimed their 'system' LOL WHAT SYSTEM?? they are totally disorganized had sent the results 4 days after they were supposed to be in. Now she said she is going to send them 'again'. Clearly they have not sent them to begin with. I called the doctor's office and they prove that the Ambulator Diagnistic Center has not sent the records. And in fact, they mixed up the date of when the test was done by 4 days. Now I have to worry they sent another person's records. If they are so sloppy they get the date of WHEN THE ULTRASOUND WAS DONE WRONG, they probably mixed up my test results with someone else's test results, too! My actual lab was on 08/08 but they have 'records' of lab results that were done on 08/11. So the conclusion is that these must be someone else's results they mixed up with mine! Overall 3 stars only because the technician seemed professional. read more

I've used the Coral Gables facility for years, but the decline in service quality has been unbelievable. I recently had to wait three hours for X-rays, not due to a high number of patients, but because of internal issues. When trying to schedule an MRI, I've encountered countless inconsistencies between scheduling process and how the MRI department actually operates. And they NEVER send you the results. You have to ask for it and pay extra if you want a copy. read more

Congratulations Ambulatory Diagnostic Center, you get a one-star review from me. Why? Because you make me never want to return! And let me tell you, that is a very rare thing indeed. I first went to Ambulatory Diagnostic Center on my nephrologist's suggestion. I was told to go to the first floor by him (as they are in the same building) only for me to go and be sent to the second floor. The line was long, people were impatient and complaining, and eh, that should have been a sign, but no - I gave them a chance. I did the first exam my nephrologist told me, too, and I managed to somehow get it scheduled on a Saturday. Unfortunately for me, they call me the day before to cancel it and schedule it for the next week. Fine, no big deal. I go to the appointment, get attended, and the line was awful. Again, the disorganization they had going on drove me nuts. The guy who attended me for my exam also made me feel like a number. No conversation whatsoever, very business, clearly didn't want to be there. Fine, it was a Saturday, I understand; I didn't want to be there either, but it was convenient and I didn't want to request a day off work. Turns out after this, I see my nephrologist again and he sends me to this place once more. I go to make the appointment after seeing him and no one knew where they should send me to see if they even made appointments for the test I needed. Finally I get attended by someone who actually knew what they were talking about, and yes, I can effectively get examined here. Unfortunately for me, the exam is on certain days and certain times. Fine, I can deal with that. But no, this just goes on. I make the appointment, request the day off work, and the day before the appointment, they call me twice. Once to solely confirm, the second to confirm because apparently they hadn't called me before and to tell me I have a copayment of $100. Excuse me? Yeah no, that's the final straw. You mean to tell me my insurance covers hospitalization/urgent care at a cheaper rate than this examination? Pfft, it's a robbery. No, thank you; I will be looking elsewhere. read more

Bad service. They don't care if you waste your time or if you're sick at all. Machines are broken half of the time and they don't bother calling people to cancel appointments, they also don't even apologize or have any respect for their customer's time. I'm so sad that the elderly has to put up with such inconsiderate individuals that work here. Leadership must be very incompetent. The customer service was good. but the MRI Timothy misdiagnosed my leg. Wrote a report stating that there was nothing wrong with my knee. Turn out my I have to surgery. I paid out of pocket, so if anyone needs MRI I would recommend paying a more for quality care. ( Delayed of treatment for over 2month. I took my mom here for a diagnostic procedure and can confirm the complaints about the lines and overbooking. Like most doctors offices they do double book. Decor is stuck in the 80s (and not in a fun way like freestyle music). I'm talking about fake wood paneling and uncomfortable but tolerable waiting room chairs. This is why they lose a star! However, the senior tech was pleasant and went through and explained the procedure to us, what they would be looking for and the radiation risk. I also appreciate the fact that the procedure was attended by an MD and not just nurses and techs. The doctor did actually make himself available for all of my questions and clarifications versus "Dr. Google". (Yes, i think I asked more questions than my mom who was the one undergoing the procedure.) My mom had to be fasting 12 hours for part of the exam, and they brought her a sandwich and cafe con leche when that part was complete. As far as food, they had a little cafeteria on the second floor (with limited seating though) but a decent selection of sandwiches and wraps. Prices were a steal for the neighborhood (less than $6 for a sandwich, drink and chips). Mine was a chicken breast - not too greasy - wrap with cheese and cranberries. Actually tasty and original for the setting. They also accept credit cards at the cafeteria. As far as medical procedures, they take most of the major insurances. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE! I went to this terrible place today for an thyroid ultrasound after being confirmed the day before. When I got there I was surprised to see more than 20 people waiting to be seen. Must of them were complaining because of the waiting time. My appointment was at 11:30am, I got there around 11:15am, I did the registration and I was asked for my ID and insurance card. At 12:05pm I was told that they don't accept my insurance and they proposed me to pay out of pocket the full cost. I was very upset with this unprofessional "front desk", they don't appreciate their patient's time at all. They also offered me to validate my $4 parking, how ridiculous!!!! It's not the $4, it was the waste of time sitting there for no reason. Definitely I don't recommend this place to anybody. Look for other options! read more

I was referred here by my specialist and was surprised to see below average ratings. I was treated kindly, quickly and my results were given the same day. All of this right before the Christmas holiday. Now there are somethings here that will require attention. The place does look a little outdated and parking can be an issue. There are times when we all have to deal with some kind of stress and life can be challenging at times and it takes a special person to deal with stress and still get the job done. I was in your office on November 1st and I witnessed dedication, understanding from a young lady that went above and beyond to assist my husband and I. I would like to express our sincerest appreciation regarding two of your employees whom I would consider the best, displaying dedication and professionalism during our visit there. We really, really appreciate their hard work and these two are to be commended for stepping in and taking us out of a stressful situation; I'm referring to Supervisor Laura Artime and Ms. Jimena P, in the MRI Department. Upon arriving at the Ambulatory Diagnostic Center, located at 747 Ponce de Leon Blvd for a 9:35 am appointment, we were greeted by Ms. Jimena P. who started to check my husband in for his MRI/ CT Scan appointment, only to be told that his appointment was cancelled. Jimena politely directed us to seek further assistance from Ms. Artime who would try to give us an explanation as to why the appointment was cancelled. Needless to say it was very upsetting to us because as you may know this is a serious matter because my husband is diabetic and he had been fasting for this appointment. Ms. Artime contacted our doctor's office to inquire why the appointment was cancelled and why we were not told. notified of the changes. Nevertheless Ms. Artime came out and explained the misunderstanding and(at no fault of the Ambulatory Diagnostic Center)her quick diligent action to help and accommodate us is to be commanded. Most people would have apologized, given us some reason or excuse for the whole mixup and sent us away, instead she jumped into action and was able to find a spot to fit my husband in so that it would not be a waste of time. Ms Jimena was very attentive, courteous and professional at all times, and while we were waiting she kept us abreast of the wait time and checked on my husband several times since he is diabetic, even offering juice to help stabilize his blood sugar. What started out as a very stressful situation turned out to be a very excellent experience at the Ambulatory Diagnostic Center, Ponce de Leon Blvd location. I would also like to point out a few observations; the center was extremely clean, the restroom was very fresh and clean along with the client's dressing room, and lastly, the client's gowns were sanitized, clean and had a very fresh scent. I came in today for 2pm MRI appt & after waiting 90 minutes the moron MRI receptionist, Lorena, said I had to reschedule since there was still one person ahead of me and the MRI tech leaves at 4pm sharp. Why didn't they tell me this when I checked in on time at 2pm? This place notoriously overlooks since lots of folks just walk out after waiting an hour. I am very upset. Yesterday I went to take X-rays of my chest in the morning and I was attended to by a woman in a very rude and imperative way. It was the technichian that is responsible for making X-rays. Please train your people to treat patients kindly and well. Otherwise you will lose their clients. Great service. Waiting time is short if you have appointment. Staff very friendly. Only the old people complain a lot. Cafeteria and vending machines available. Everyone was friendly and polite! Everyone speaks Spanish, but they all speak English too! One lady even asked my preference! Yes, the place could use some touch ups, but it was very clean. I came for a CT scan, so I did not need to change clothes. My appointment was on time and I finished within 30 minutes max. I chose to wait 15 minutes extra so I could get a copy of my CD. And, if you are paying out of pocket, they offer a discounted rate after 2pm. Yes there is a $4 charge...cash only... for the attached parking garage. There is also meter parking on the street. To me, it was worth the $4! I parked on the 1st floor, there was a ramp that led directly into the building, and the office was right there! Super easy and I didn't have to walk in the hot sun! Here Waiting for an hour for an MRI when I spoke to front desk she said that I had been double booked with someone else. Still no paperwork given to fill out.
