It wasn't that long ago, surely. You know, when it was clean. When you didn't have to try multiple machines to get adequate ice. When they had soda lids. When the scanners at the concession stand actually worked. When the concession associate didn't argue with you after telling you you have no Rewards Points (although they clearly show on the App) and then says your account was actually closed (it's reads as current). When you get into the assigned theater and it's not reclining seats (yes, it didn't say there were, but you're so accustomed you just expect them now you forgot to check). If you're coming to this location make sure to come early for concessions and parking. The parking lot is free but is usually packed since it's shared among the entire shopping plaza. Also, the line to enter and for concessions has consistently been long on every one of my visits. My interactions with the staff have neither been good nor bad just average. Came here to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home in Dolby. Since I am an A-list member, I generally choose to watch movies in Dolby (mainly for the recliners), if not in IMAX. What I liked about this theater is that it isn't too big. The viewing was packed, given that it was a highly anticipated film and also Christmas weekend. I had dead center seats, which were amazing. The seats are clean and seem to be new. There is a free parking garage. There is a concessions stand, but a little pricier than what I would like to pay for usually just popcorn and a drink. read more

This is my go-to movie theater since it provides the largest variety of viewing options - Dolby Cinema, IMAX, PRIME, and Standard Showing. Do yourself a favor and join the AMC Stubs A-List if you enjoy watching movies a lot of movies. A-List members get the opportunity to go watch up to three movies a week and they have access to free awards. If you watch at least one or two movies a month, you already make your money back by joining. Parking can be a bit of a hassle depending on when you go since the lot is shared with other businesses in the area so I recommend watching movies either early in the morning or later in the evening. One of the big downsides that I've seen are the seats in the standard showing. They could do for a steam cleaning since there's stains and discoloration on a lot of them. Other than that, this movie theater is great and the ability to watch movies in a large variety of viewing options is fantastic. read more

In terms of the customer service this is absolutely the worst AMC around. I have called repeatedly for one week straight from 9:30 AM to 10 PM and absolutely no one ever ever answers the phone. I lost something that I know was an a specific seat and have to go all the way back there, because no one will answer the phones. Every theater answers the phones. On the plus side they Dolby is amazing and the theaters are clean. However, if you have an emergency, this is the last place to go. read more

Fix the sound quality in theater 14, went up twice to the front desk, spoke with an associate once than the general manager hector (bald guy) both assured me volume would be turned down once movie started and blamed it on trailers but sound never turned down, it stayed consistent between 90-100decibel which is insane for a movie. This is a perfectly adequate movie theater. It's usually crowded on the weekends and they have lots of different movies & times available. I love the Dolby cinema with the full recliner chairs. It is definitely not a clean cinema. There's always trash on the ground, the bathrooms are not well stocked and often dirty, and I've had multiple instances of trash in my seat or cup holder when I get there. I've also had a couple technical issues - for example, audio issue while watching Spider-Man Across the Spider verse and a delay of screening during Argylle (after all the trailers & Nicole Kidman but before the movie started, it went to a blank screen). I do have AMC movie pass which is worth it if you go to more than 1 movie per month. Free parking is always a plus but you do have to be patient in finding a spot in the many lots available in Burbank. read more

So glad things are getting back to normal, the theaters are only 5-6min drive from our place, yayyyy. AMC 16 has the best screens as compared to other AMCs in burbank. I mean IMAX, 3D, Prime & DOLBY. Ample of parking space available. Many other good eats to enjoy climbing down the stairs, & the street leads into burbank downtown. We are big movie buffs & do take advantage of AMC Stubs membership, yes dedicated to watching 3 movies every week when the good ones come hehehehe. We have been to shows at every time of the day, by far the best time seems to be the one in the morning. Parking easily available, less crowded. Checking in to the theaters has always been a breeze, our favorite is the DOLBY Screen, the seats though are sometimes wobbly but ok. I use to come to this AMC often, but I got tired of the drive, so I stopped. Well, since I got a ticket to see a free movie, I just had to make the trek. This AMC is located in a large open mall with many places to choose from if you feel like eating. There's plenty of parking, some of which is underground and it's free. This AMC hasn't changed much since the last time I was here. The concession stand was SO LONG though that I didn't get anything to eat. The seats are comfortable. I ended up sitting in the 3rd row from the front and it actually wasn't bad/uncomfortable to sit there. Normally I wouldn't sit that close to the screen, but since the movie was free, it was doable. Their restroom has many stalls and there are plenty of mirrors and counter space to put your stuff down while you wash your hands. Restroom is pretty clean. AMC has a special deal now and then which is always a nice way to save money. read more

The theater itself was really nice! Parking was easy in the structure - we had to go down several levels but then there were plenty of spots (and best of all, free!). The AMC is right at the exit to the parking structure up a set of stairs (or escalator). There was no line to get in and we were scanned in and told where our auditorium was quickly. The seats were so incredibly comfortable and spacious, if we came back for anything, it would be the seats. Parking is horrible here even though it's free was driving up and down the parking structures for 30 minutes. The theater temperature is very warm I was sweating watching my movie. Inside is very dirty and seats feel sticky. Audience is a rude they kept walking in and out during the film which was a huge distraction. And kids crying throughout the film. Glad to see that AMC has survived and is still operating, though doesn't seem that they have learned much about customer service and bringing back loyal customers with some value. While I can appreciate they are trying to recoup $$ lost during the shutdown, to remove perks you openly advertise is just another slap in the face, and may be a reason that AMC should go bankrupt so they can re-organize and have a top down review to how to improve their business, versus watching to die a slow death. They have added stickers on the floor to encourage social distancing and there were a couple locations with cleaning wipes for you to partake in if you wanted to clean your own seats in the theatre. I definitely feel there could have been more hand sanitizer stations for the size of the location, as one between every few theaters would make sense. They do a fairly good job of ensuring social distancing during ticket purchase, by blocking off the seats in front and behind your party, and a couple seats to either side. Which this is appreciated, I think a better plan would be to block off alternate rows completely and then a couple seats to each side. This would allow them to still maintain social distance, though allow slightly more seating and space as one party did seem a bit close to me, as only 1 seat over in the row behind and the kids in their party definitely were up and about quite a bit during the movie. Overall, the thing that irked me the most, being a longtime stubs member, is even though they promote the free refill on drinks/popcorn all over their site, once you get to the theatre, they state it is not offered due to the circumstances. This just seems like another way to cut costs for something that costs pennies in either case, yet provides a sense of value to the customer and considering the cost of concessions, seems to make sense to continue offering purely for the goodwill as they need customers to return. Maybe management will actually review this feedback, though I doubt it based on the slew of feedback left here on Yelp. While it was nice returning to a sense of normal being able to watch a movie with maybe 20 people total in the theatre, it could have been better spaced with the number of people ultimately there for the viewing. And with the seats still being old and having visible stains and wear, I did not feel they were any more clean. While I will probably return in the future, since there are not many other movie theatre options in close proximity, I may wait until they return to more normalized operations. read more

When I want to come to a magical place, I definitely come to AMC to laugh, cry, and care. We all need it, all of us. I get this feeling, which is indescribable, especially when the lights dim down and I go somewhere I've never gone to before. It's not just entertainment, but it's like I'm almost reborn. It's like I can feel everything coming from the big silver screen. Where, "Somehow, heartbreak feels good in a place like this." Where we watch hero's, and it feel like they are the best part of us, and the stories we watch feel powerful and perfect.... because at AMC they are! :) Anyways, this has been my go to theater for a long time now. Over time, this theater has made services a lot easier for movie goers. Whenever we come to the theater, we do everything via the web/app. We buy our tickets and select our seats online. We have recently put order for concession online as well. It's literally perfect! No lines, no waiting. We just show up 5-10 minutes before the movie time, scan the QR code to get in. Then we walk up to concessions to pickup our bag and head into the theater. I also love that they have discounted Tuesdays for Stubs members. This is a great incentive and very competitive to what Regal has. I have a Regal down the street from me, but I rather much drive to Burbank from Santa Clarita to an AMC. Service is 100x better here. The seats are way more comfortable here compared to Regal as well. Parking can be a little challenging during peak times, such as weekends. I would allow 15-20 mins for parking just incase! Lastly, I love that they have added a bar in the lobby, but I hate that drinks cost I spent close to $35 for two drink waiting for a friend to show up. I think I would have been better off going to Buffalo Wild Wings downstairs for a few bucks cheaper. read more

If you get a ticket for a showing in Theater 11, ask for an upgrade or a refund. 11 has a VERY loud fan that rattles and is distracting. It ruined the movie Men for me, as this movie requires moments of dead silence to be effective. I know others besides me who have complained about this but the theater doesn't fix it. The AC in this auditorium is so loud that it sounds like rain in the audio of the film. read more

They have NOT properly renovated the majority of the 16 theatres. Be sure to check whether the movie you're buying tickets for has either "Plush Rockers" or "AMC Signature Recliners". Plush Rockers are horribly old chairs with a shared armrest that are small and don't move! The personnel at the food and drinks concession were super friendly and helpful. The selection of food, drinks and candy is good. Purchased a bag of M&Ms 18 oz., and Nachos with Jalapeños for less than $13.00. Theater #15 was clean, the carpet appeared new or was recently cleaned. The movie was awesome uplifting it your faith. All the treasures of your heart will be granted as the almighty has promised. The movie was based on a life events of David Smallbone and his family. Parking: plenty of parking available at this location. There are street parking, and there is a parking garage. When I have came to this location a few times through out the years I've only had luck with the parking garage, no real luck with street parking. Clearance for the parking garage is about 6'10" and there are about 6 levels. So there are a lot of spaces available within, also there are 2 garages, across the street from each other. Cleanliness: I haven't encountered any situation where I felt that it wasn't like any other Theater, or as clean as other AMC theaters. Food: Plenty of selection, regular menu compared to other AMC locations. Not all have a bar, but this place offers adult beverages. Seats: Dolby signature recliners, you can never go wrong. But the regular movie seats, I have noticed they are not that comfortable and they make a lot of noise when you move or change positioning. I hope they resolve this issue in the near future. I thought I've seen everything. Nope. Not even close. Came here on Christmas day, as I tend to go watch a movie every year during Christmas. Well, this place was a mess. After spending a decent amount of time looking for parking we came here. Lines were all over the place. We decided to try using the kiosk instead of waiting in line for the actual human service, and boy was that a mistake. The people in front of us couldn't figure out the machine and I thought they were idiots! Well, I guess we were idiots too, because the machine gave us a hard time as well! It didn't work, and we ended up with seats we didn't even want when trying to select it. Then came the popcorn line which was a mess, and I guess if you don't have "premiere" membership, you have to wait longer for popcorn and drinks. Yup! Also, the seats aren't reclining seats, and when you pay $15.50 for a ticket, they better have a higher caliber set of seats!
