My first experience here to watch Lilo and Stitch and the movie was ruined for me before I even made it to my theater. There were a pair of stitch ears on the display so I went to purchase them and the girl at the counter was sooo rude. She said she couldn't sell them to me bc they were sold in a combo and had me show her where I found them. The sweaty poorly groomed manager then came to tell me I can't buy them because somebody else probably purchased those. I then ask so are you just going to resell them and he said yes. An immersive third-world experience highlighting the velcro-like texture of floor coverings near the soda machine overseen by disinterested employees who apparently can't find cleaning equipment without a topographic map and a pathfinder escort. The experience is heightened by corn-fed land whales that feel a burning need to stand in front of the soda machine while conducting in-deoth conversations on their personal validation devices. I feel for the people of Lake Jackson, Clute, Freeport. This is the only theater I know of in the area. It is horrible! Personnel and the manager are rude. It is FILTHY. Instead of fresh popcorn the whole place smells like urine. Doors everywhere are sticky. The bathrooms are atrocious BEFORE peak hours! One free popcorn refill on a large popcorn. Unlimited free refills on drinks. Discount movies on Tuesday. Pretty much guarantee good seats for any new movie. Inside the mall so if you are early, you can walk around the mall until your movie starts or eat at the food court after the movies. Lake Jackson is such a cool town. Pretty much everything is new except for this movie theatre . It's so sad. I want desperately for there to be a make over for this theatre. Remove some of the close front seats that no one ever sits at and add reclining seats. At least replace the old fabric cushion seats. You serve all the surrounding towns. I guarantee that if you update the seats, you will have more customers. People in Lake Jackson and the surrounding areas have money, this is not a poor area, you will get your profit back in no time. I appreciate having this theatre in Lake Jackson but please catch up with the time. Your theatre is a poor representation of this awesome place. Movie prices and concession prices aside, I always look forward to seeing new releases! The sound systems have never been an issue and staff keeps theaters in good shape. I've seen them wait patiently to clean while just two customers watched all the credits. Restrooms are kept clean. Almost as pristine as Buc-ees! I appreciate the improvements to seating and while reclining seats would be nifty, at least that's one less reason for folks to fall asleep! read more

It was my 18th birthday and I showed up at exactly 9:59 pm and this male worker who wears glasses and had his hair in a pony tail was extremely rude to me and my friend. We showed him proof of our tickets for a 10 pm movie and he said they were closed and shut the door on our faces. We told him to let us through as a birthday favor but he was even more rude and said I don't care about your birthday. Worst bday experience ever! Service is getting terrible lately. We have the Premier membership which has some perks, but mostly gets you to the head of the line. We waited while they keep taking the people from the other line. Why should I pay for a membership and they don't honor the program. I understand that you are limited by the quality of employees in this area. But they should be trained in their job. Don't bother buying the membership. The turn over and lack of quality managers will continue this trend of under trained teenage employees. The owner needs to seriously review employees at all levels for this theater. We will try the theater in Bay City next time, and that is out of our way. Despite the picture going around the internet of mold on the seats we attempted to have a family movie night. Within 2 minutes of being in the theater we smelled a strong smell of urine. We thought it was just because we were walking past the bathroom. As we walked into the actual theatre it was horrendous. We walked out and told someone of the problem she stated it was because they didn't clean that well. Who says that? Certainly not reassuring. Even the manager shrugged us off. This conversion to AMC Classic was an awful business decision. The concession area only offers giant and enormous popcorn now which means a lot of wasted food on date night. They also added chicken sandwiches, chicken wings, cheese sticks and other food that is not good when bought at a kitchen less venue. And if you're a sucker who purchased a prime membership to get in a preferred line, that's now gone. I think they should refund these members their payments by proactively notifying them their purchased benefits have been revoked. This was a horrible business decision with questionable ethics at best. I see myself going to pearland going forward. read more

When we tried to buy movie tickets this afternoon at the Lake Jackson theater, we discovered that they had eliminated their ticket sellers. Instead, you have to get your tickets at the concessions which had a very long line. We did not want concessions, so what would have previously taken a few minutes would now take at least 20 minutes. We stood in that agonizing line for quite a while, and it barely moved. We were going to be late for our movie so frustrating. I then noticed that they did have one kiosk where you could buy tickets. Naturally it also had a long line. After 10+ minutes in that line, we finally got our tickets and barely made our movie. It's very disappointing that they got rid of their ticket sellers. I assume they did that to save money and to get you to buy their overpriced concessions along with your tickets. I was glad that they had a kiosk as an alternative, but they need at least two more. Again, I suspect that they do that so that you will stand in line for the concessions instead. It's all about greed and not about the customers. read more

So we came for the 1100 showing off the avengers infinity war. We were excited and couldn't wait. And what is a good movie without snacks. We ordered 2 hotdogs, a kids combo, and a large drink. the cashier told uys that The hotdogs were "gourmet" and said hee liked them. The cashier told use that will be $24.00, I nearly fell out. My wife addled how much are those hotdogs. Mind you before AMC took over they use to be $1.00 a piece. The cashier said the "gourmet" dogs were $5.00 a piece. Your kidding me $5.00 for a hotdog that looks like a ballpark. Even worse I saw they have a pretzel for $14.50. How does AMC justify this. And my next question is why would anyone pay this for alright food. No wonder why people sneak in food. So after getting a refund we went to or movie. The theater was packed but we were able to find seats. The place still smells, and the floors are still sticky. Guess they aren't using the extra money to clean the place. They advertise comfy reclining seats in the add before the movie. Where are those. The only reason I come here is because I don't want to travel 30 minutes North to go watch a movie. Every time I come it is always a disappointment. My advice is skip the snack bar and eat at a restaurant after for same price. read more

I don't understand how AMC would allow this theater to look the way it does, there's always trash on the floors leading to the actual theaters the trash cans are always full and overflowing. Bathrooms smell like urine all the time. The theaters have a damp and moldy smell to them and why they don't update the seating. There seems to be no adult supervision of the teenagers that are working there. There is little if no police presence like thier use to be years ago. read more

Terrible. Bought tickets online. Arrived and their was no seating available. Management did not care neither did any employees they did refund most of my money. Got screwed out of the 12 dollar online ticket fee. I will never go back. This experience will be the last time. I love watching movies and go at least once a week sucks this is my only local option. I bought the stub hubs membership mainly just for the VIP line and they took that out and that really pissed me off. The lines for snacks and food are super slow and they hardly have anything ready. Never have pickle pops like they advertise and takes forever for certain menu items. When they tell you its going to take x amount of minutes to cook something if you still want it they say it in the saddest way possible I guess hoping you say no you don't want it. It's dirty a lot and the restrooms are disgusting. I've been in there multiple times where there was urine on the toilet seats and floors and not just a little drops a lot and it looks like it's been there all day. There is this one lady I believe she's the manager and this one guy maybe a manager also they've both been there forever I've seen them for years and they are both very rude and act like they hate there jobs. Especially the lady she is a straight up Bitch! With all that money they must of spent upgrading the place you think they could of bought some better seats. Arrived at theater 1/2 before movie. The line for tickets was almost to the outdoor. They had 1 person for STUBS and only 1 person for the rest of us. It took forever. My husband waited in line while I went inside to get popcorn, Again another horrible line. We were late to get to the movie. No one seems to be in charge. I saw a poor employee trying to clean up a beverage spill with only paper towels - no mop in sight. Where is the manager? They need more employees and a way to assess the crowd so they can deploy people as needed. The bathrooms were a mess, the hallway smelled awful. This place is outrageously expensive and it's an overall EXTREMELY DISGUSTING PLACE. The theatres smell horrible my husband went to get bags for my kids to sit on because of how nasty they were it was our only option considering the Manger refused to give us a refund. All the teens and even the older man taking tickets are so rude. I seriously wish there was somewhere else to go but under no circumstances will I return here so I assume until then we will wait for movies to come out or we will be driving as far as Pearland for a better experience..-10 read more
