May 2026 new ownership review/update : Still the same old…read moreplaces, a few subtle changes, looks like a restaurant on the inside now, but the outside is still the same fish Camp atmosphere... nice menu, some new things, some of the old things are gone, but that's apples and oranges. Overall, I think anytime you get new management in and they're willing to freshen up things, in the long run it's a good thing. You can't keep what's old old forever, everything's got to be refreshed. Now, all you need to do is get rid of those tiny drinking glasses and get the largER plastic restaurant glasses... I know there's value (for the owners and nobody else) in having a waitress continually run back-and-forth to your table to refill your drink (yeaaaa, good service!) but that's not for me, give me a good size drink and everybody's happy! Don't take away too much of what this place used to be, don't refresh too much, and don't try to add or subtract too much... Remember, this was a successful business and most of us like it just the way it was... Most of it. And oh, get some big boy french fries, these little half size things don't work... Also, still no shrimp and catfish Poboys on the menu? Original review: Good place to eat, one of my favorites, on weekdays, I have never had any problems with the food or service here, so rest assured. I've only been here a couple of times when it was super busy. However, aside from a little bit long wait to be served, everything was always good. The star of the show at Whiteys is being able to have a good meal, while looking at the beautiful scenery along the river, that really brings out what the place is all about. The wait, staff is always friendly there, they go out of their way to make you feel at home. The menu here is excellent, it is what it is for this type of joint, and they go above and beyond just standard bar food fair.

Came by boat this time, still fantastic. Great food! Tried the fried pickles, loved them!read more

The building itself is stunning and unique, with a warm wooden interior and incredible animal carvings on the bar that give the whole place such a cool, rustic vibe. The menu stands out with an awesome selection of unique tavern and wild game foods -- I don't see gator, duck, and bison on menus just anywhere! I went with the brisket burger, dubbed "The Intimidator," and it was fantastic -- juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Service was friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Whether you're headed out for a scenic ride or just looking for great food in a fun setting, Dalton's Sports Grill is definitely worth the trip!

The sweet potato tots were fluffy and came with a delicious cinnamon butter, the fried squash came out hot and crispy with a good amount of breading, the onion rings came out cold but tasted okay. The wings were of a good size and prepared to order as to spice/sauce choices. The veggie burger is actually a beyond meat type burger versus a veggie patty which wasn't clear in the description. The caramelized onions on top were a nice addition and the bun was toasted/buttered which was a nice touch. The neighborhood environment of the restaurant is welcoming and many patrons know each other which was a nice experience. Overall we would dine in again.

The atmosphere, drinks and food were very delicious. The location is in a strip mall or town center area on 220. Tonight they are having a live band play on the patio. They have trivia, bingo brunch(Sunday) and kid nights. The Waiter was wonderful. When you go to the Hostess desk, she gives you a QR code to scan to look at the menu, or there is a huge menu board by the take out order area. I don't drink beer, so I did not try any. I am sure the beer is good. Great job! Fun place to dine and hang out. They named the place after their Mastiff, Barley. I wish I could've met Him! Pros:food, atmosphere, drinks Cons: I live too far away. Recommend? Yes.

We visited during a slow time of the late afternoon and were greeted by the hostess who encouraged us to sit wherever we would like and either order through the web based app or at the counter. Interesting set up - so we gave the QR code online ordering a whirl. They have free wifi which helped overcome the poor cell service we were having. Overall, it felt like a very impersonal experience due to the ordering service. I mean, for a small business, wouldn't you want to try to establish relationships with clientele/share your story/garner some buy in? For my boomer-and -beyond crowd I could see the online ordering being an issue. Self service soft drinks, plates, utensils... Definitely go for the Sharon bites. Little sourdough bites with beer cheese and vodka sauce that were really good. Would make for a perfect snacking item when enjoying a few beers. We went for the hot honey pepperoni pizza. Big fan of Mike's Hot Honey and love it on pizza so we figured it's a shoe in. Not a very visually appearing pie, but got the job done. Ultimately, it's a brewery that happens to serve food. Great spot to catch a game with friends (TVs all over the walls), but there's a handful of other spots for great pizza..
