The place felt clean and new, with a fun carpeting design and moving light patterns in the ceiling.

Love this theater complex! Highly recommended! I've been visiting this location since it first opened 27 years ago, and have rarely been disappointed. I've seen so many movies here, that I don't even remember them all. We've partaken of their snacks so many times -- I think they were the first theater I visited, to offer jalapeños to go on my hot dog. I've also been here for all-hands meetings being held by our company, which had multiple facilities nearby, but none with a room large enough to hold us all. Our most recent visit was to see "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning" in their IMAX theater. Wow. Awesome experience! Great visuals, with awesome action from Tom of course. The sound level was a bit much for us, but I expect we are in the minority. I held out as long as I could to read the credits, but I eventually found myself making a mad dash for the men's room. I usually expect to find quite a mess in movie theater restrooms, but I was shocked, I tell you, to find that restroom spotless, with all the supplies freshly stocked. Overall, a delightful experience, reinforcing my desire to get out more, even though I know COVID-19 is still circulating...

I had a great time here watching Mission Impossible 4. There's a bar and a ton of food choices, though they all seemed pretty expensive. The seating was great, comfortable, and adjustable. The place was pretty clean aside from the cup holder next to me (a little sticky), but not a big deal. Once inside, I really liked it. The entrance and ticket booth area, however, look very dated.

This was a decent place to see a movie. The Thayer was clean and comfortable. They had an awesome everything bagel pretzel that is huge. Big enough to share for sure. They had someone doing some work up in the projector room so there were some lights on that added a glow in the dark scenes.

Always love a chance to get to the movies, especially with the reclining seats they offer now. Discount Tuesdays are a must and the theater is kept fairly clean, which is nice.

Large clean theater. We saw Deadpool / Wolverine and it was awesome. The bathrooms were clean.

Everything is great at this AMC location! It's conveniently close to the highway, making it easy to get to. The theater is always clean, and the staff does a great job maintaining it. Definitely my go-to spot for catching a movie!

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Fun for special movie outings…read more We came to see Guillermo Del Toro's "Frankenstein" with our friends and it did not disappoint. We've been to the downtown LA one a couple of times and the drill was the same: You start by scanning the QR code and making the initial order, then during the movie you write down your order on the provided pad and pressing the service call button. You have 20 minutes after the movie ends to settle up your bill; after that they will close it out for you with 20% gratuity. We ordered: - Spicy ranch popcorn (spicy! It's a dry powder so I should've gotten some light butter on it to hold the powder to the popcorn--we kept accidentally inhaling it, doh) - Churro crunch popcorn (not too sweet, with slight salty notes that gave it a really nice touch) - Vegan cauliflower bites with celery and fries (the gochujang sauce was a little too sweet and the fries were limp--just meh) - I got a Pilsner, hubby got an IPA The food was just ok but the service and atmosphere were great. The seats weren't THE most comfortable recliners, as they didn't recline quite as much as the AMC chairs we were used to, but they were fine. One of the best things at these theaters is the 15-20 minute montage they show before the movie that's related to the feature--worth getting there early for. Some of the clips they included were really obscure and funny, like the one from the 1960s where Frankenstein goes to college and becomes a party animal, lol.

I agree with everyone here regarding the QR Code ordering! The preshow entertainment is one of the…read morebest things about this place, but you can't even enjoy it because you're on your phone trying to order food. They should at the very least have either an option to still order on paper, or an order a head option so that you can just order everything before you get there. AMC and Harkins even do that... You can say what time you wanna pick it up and then you can just pick it up on your way in. Since there's no human interaction anyway they might as well just let us do that. I also felt bad for the server because I didn't feel like he deserved what I would normally tip on the bill, but it's not his fault and I'm not sure how they're getting paid. It's not really fair to the workers either. So I tipped low on the app and then I felt bad so I gave him an extra money on my way out. The whole thing just really sucks.

When you first walk in there is a restaurant/bar available if you get there early. This theater didn't look like it had too many screens, but I was in theater two. All of the chairs were the comfortable recliner chairs and each chair had its own table so you did not have to share a table. The staff was friendly like always and quick with the refills and taking orders. I like that they have the order cards on pen and paper during the movie and that you can always write down if another table is too loud on the piece of paper. All of the pricing looked the same as the other theater so it's good to know that they keep pricing the same across the board. Overall, I think this location was really nice and I would definitely go back if it's more convenient for my friends to go to this location. Right now they have the WICKED display and it is huge, very vibrant and it's a fabric background besides the two cut outs on the side. Very cool!

Great service, attentive, great menu!…read more Parking is limited, you may have to search around but it wasn't too hard to find something. This theater is connected to a tiny shopping center. Service was awesome! It was easy to order food, and had a server checking in with us respectfully during a movie. I think that's a hard thing to do, you've really got to know when to check in; kudos to them. Food is great portion wise! It would be great to separate alcohol & food menus. The alcohol dominates the menu, I don't drink so it was off putting to me. The theater is clean! The seats are worn out, my seat had the leather cracking. Not the biggest deal, but the small details matter; the more pressing issue is having a cup holder in between each seat. It makes sense when it's moving into the next section of paired seats, but it felt cramped & stiff unless I wasn't pulling up hard enough. All in all I'd recommend this spot! Dinner & a movie, big portions of food, and excellent customer service. It doesn't get any better unless it does!

For the price it can't be beat, what's better than having deliciously (and devilish) food dropped right in front of you mid movie? Nothing! The staff usually does a great job of not being in the way or interfearing with the guests to the side of you and they always let you know when last call is so you don't miss out on those last minute drinks or bites! The only thing i think they could improve on is the hallways and even some of the theaters permanently smell like old food. Not necessarily in a disgusting way but definitely noticeable.

Atmosphere: Watching Return of the King at Cinemark…read moreLakewood in D-Box was an incredible experience. The theater itself felt like a proper cinematic space, and the D-Box seating really heightened the movie. When the horses charged into battle or the war scenes began, it genuinely felt like you were riding alongside them. The movie being the extended edition made the four-hour runtime fly by it felt immersive and nostalgic at the same time. Price: Tickets were around $25-$30, slightly higher than normal because of the D-Box experience, but I absolutely think it was worth it for how much it enhanced the film. Food & Drinks: We bought the theater small bag of popcorn, which cost around $10-$12. The theater has standard food and drink options if you want to grab snacks there. Tips: The theater was a little cold, so I'm really glad I brought a blanket. I highly recommend doing the same, especially on a chilly day. If you can, check to see if your local theater offers D-Box seating it truly adds a next-level experience to battle scenes and action sequences. Overall Experience: As a longtime Lord of the Rings fan, this was an amazing, nostalgic experience. Seeing Return of the King again, especially in theaters with D-Box, made me feel like I was watching it for the first time all over again. The ending still brought tears to my eyes, and the extended edition made it feel like a full, immersive journey. If you have the chance, I'd highly recommend catching this 25th anniversary screening. Especially in D-Box. Truly unforgettable.
