Love this theater complex! Highly recommended! I've been visiting this location since it first opened 27 years ago, and have rarely been disappointed. I've seen so many movies here, that I don't even remember them all. We've partaken of their snacks so many times -- I think they were the first theater I visited, to offer jalapeños to go on my hot dog. I've also been here for all-hands meetings being held by our company, which had multiple facilities nearby, but none with a room large enough to hold us all. Our most recent visit was to see "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning" in their IMAX theater. Wow. Awesome experience! Great visuals, with awesome action from Tom of course. The sound level was a bit much for us, but I expect we are in the minority. I held out as long as I could to read the credits, but I eventually found myself making a mad dash for the men's room. I usually expect to find quite a mess in movie theater restrooms, but I was shocked, I tell you, to find that restroom spotless, with all the supplies freshly stocked. Nice solid theater. Concessions has been upgraded and they have some "bigger" items that you can order and they'll heat up. Standard popcorn, nachos, candy you can grab yourself and take to cashier. They have those make any flavor soda machines. There is a tiny little bar where you can get alcohol drink if that's your thing. (Just pregame.) Theaters themselves were recently redone. Most have reclining seats, but no tabletops. The non-3D IMAX theater isn't much bigger than most normal theaters but was clear and sound was good. (See pic) The seats in there do not recline. Huge parking lot. Usually tons of spaces available. I'd see a movie here with no reservations. read more

One of our favorite theaters although the seats don't recline in the theaters we've been to. But even though they don't recline, they are surprisingly comfortable! My only complaint is the women's bathroom are a wreck which is surprising since it's a busy theater. Make sure to check for toilet paper because they don't restock toilet paper or hand soap. We paid nearly $28 for IMAX 3D which is steep but ok for an occasional treat. read more

I had a great time here watching Mission Impossible 4. There's a bar and a ton of food choices, though they all seemed pretty expensive. The seating was great, comfortable, and adjustable. The place was pretty clean aside from the cup holder next to me (a little sticky), but not a big deal. Once inside, I really liked it. What kind of person can give a negative review to a movie theater?! Yes they are extremely expensive but what is the price tag on magic? Even if the staff was rude, who cares; where else can you walk in and the smells alone can take you back in time to when you were a kid? When you look back to when we were young and we went to see Star Wars or Jurassic Park for the first time in the theater no one remembers the jerk teen that tore your ticket stub.....we remember all the great times we had with our friends and family........the movies we are taking our kids to now so they can have those same magical memories when they get older and life is beating them down from every other angle. Watched how to train your dragon this past weekend at the IMAX and it was awesome! They gave out these promo hats which were a fun touch. Screen and seats were great, wish I could recline though. Popcorn and drinks were good too. Grabbed a beer from the bar; service was quick, could've been friendlier. Easy process to grab tickets and plenty of parking. This relates to the MacGuffins Bar at this AMC location. I was charged $19.95 for a regular glass of white wine - that is way more expensive than at good restaurants and even the airport. Even the barman agreed that it was a ridiculous price. On top of that when I tapped my card I had no option to refuse a tip. If you enter 0.00, it won't let you proceed. read more

I enjoyed my visit to this movie theater today. They have plenty of movie screens for various show times. The concession area is huge and has your typical movie theater offerings. I skipped popcorn and soda today. For today's movie choice, I saw Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny on their IMAX screen. It was great! I recommend seeing the new IJ movie on the IMAX screen. The seats aren't recliner type for the IMAX screen. However, they're comfy black leather seats that rock backwards. It was clean inside of the theater as well. I enjoyed my theater experience today and will definitely return for future movies. I would actually choose this theater over the AMC in Castle Rock. Looking forward to my next visit! read more

A friend of mine convinced me to sign up for AMC's movie subscription service, and yesterday was only my first day in the program. We went yesterday to see a "double feature" (MUFASA & Sonic 3), but I had to call ahead to make sure they had descriptive audio devices. They confirmed that they did, and when we got to the theater they said to just bring it back and swap it for a new one between movies. However, what the staff DIDN'T tell me was that their theater was VERY inaccessible for blind people... starting from even the parking lot (their entrance is on the side of the building for some reason, and there was a very narrow and weird path we had to walk to get there, with almost no lighting after dark). The lobby was not strditured very well, and the confessions cue was both confusing and narrow (my understanding was that you had to order different items at different doubters, then pay somewhere completely different, weaving through a maze of very tight walkways--I almost got ran over by other people at least once), so I decided to only get a soda. Then our seats were all the way in the back row, and I had to climb A LOT of stairs just to get up there (if sometime told me about this I could've switch to their accessible row). The audio description device worked just fine for the fist movie, but when it was time to switch them and the second movie started, I noticed within two seconds that they set it up wrong, making it play ENHANCED audio instead of descriptions of what was on the screen. My friend left right as the movie started, came back five minutes later, and the device was completely non-functional. NOTHING was playing through the headphones, despite my friend seeing that it was turned on, so I basalt had to watch the rest of the movie and listen to what was happening... and it detracted from my experience since I had no idea what was happening other than the dialogue or the music. I'm very frustrated that the staff did not seem very supportive, and when we were leaving there wasn't even anyone at the service desk I could speak to about the issues with accessibility that they clearly have at this location. I had booked to come back on Friday to see another movie, but I since cancelled that and am choosing to go elsewhere. Thankfully, I don't live close to this theater at all, so I have plenty of other options available. Very distracting experience... if you're a disabled moviegoer, I'd strongly suggest NOT going here--especially if you're blind, or probably in a wheelchair, due to the layout issues mentioned above. Trust me, you're way better off going to another AMC slightly further away. read more

This is definitely an older AMC theater than the one in Southland. It's a walk from the parking lot to the entrance. In the winter, you would want to park in lot 2 rather than lot one so you can get yourself inside the theater sooner. I recently watched a 3D movie in the 3D Laser theater and there was something wrong with the projection. I hope they get that fixed. read more

This is a very good AMC theater. I went to the theater during a snowy afternoon. The staff were very friendly and greeted me with a smile. The concessions were reasonable and the selection of refreshments were immense. The theater seats were very comfortable and made the movie experience very enjoyable. My thoughts about AMC have recently changed. After over paying for a medicore experience at the Alamo, my boyfriend suggested we go here. I signed up for the AMC A-list Premier pass, which I personally think it's worth it, if you like going to the movies a lot. First month is discounted, after that its 22$ a month and worth it if you go to at least 2 movies a month. They also waive fees for online bookings and you get free popcorn size upgrade. Anyways we saw The Matrix in theater 13 , the theater is huge. Be sure to pick a row with nobody behind you though if you can. The seats are kind of close together and it can be distracting if you have people behind you kicking the chair. We went when it wasn't too packed so we moved. The sound quality is great, screen is huge, and the seats are overall pretty comfortable. I want to try the AMC Dine-in in Cherry Creek one of these days to see how it compares to the Alamo. So yeah we'll be back! read more

Interesting movie theatre build in a grandiose fashion back when movie theatres were a high end destination. I like the sky bridge. The snack bar is pretty much all self serve and you can also order other food as well. Nice comfortable reclining chairs. Theatre was clean and the staff was friendly and courteous. I usually don't mind coming to this theater but after this past weekend I will never be back. We had another guest threaten physically attack us because we were laughing at the movie and they were upset thinking we were too loud. They literally stood in front of us and told us to shut the F**k up or they were going to fight us. Told management and they did NOTHING. Management basically said they didn't believe us and only offered to provide vouchers for another show even after we told them we were A-listers anyway and a voucher doesn't mean anything. They said they couldn't do anything unless the other person threatened someone else too. Very disappointed by that response to someone threatening violence against others in the theater but I guess this is condoned by the staff there. Will not be back and considering canceling my subscription as an A-Lister and going with another theater chain all together. read more

Man I love this theater! They got the recliner's and Dolby/IMAX. I have the A List which helps a lot. (Definitely worth it) the only gripe I have is that the IMAX theater doesn't have recliners, which I find kind of odd. Staff is friendly and chill. Food/drinks are available! Forgot my phone at one point and they awesome staff retrieved it and kept it guarded at the front. Had to sign papers to retrieve it; even found a little surprise lol read more

Pretty standard for AMC theaters that I've seen. Pretty good snack selection although not as good as the dine in theaters like Cherry Creek. The seats are really comfy too, although the picture quality is pretty sub-par. I kind of like that though because picture quality seems to be getting too good. The sound is crystal clear. This theater was pretty good. The staff are all pretty friendly! There are enough workers to ensure that lines are not too long. Coming from New Mexico, we only have one theater that serves alcohol. So it is always surprising to see a bar within a theater! From what I could tell, it was a small selection, but enough for a place where you are meant to watch movies. I unfortunately did not have one of the recliner theaters, which I've grown accustomed to in many other theaters. So I was left with a chair that was stiff and barely moved from a 90 degree position. I didn't feel comfortable while watching the movie. Other than that, it is a decent theater. I would highly recommend getting the recliner seats and solidly pass on the non-recliners. read more

My wife and son we're in yesterday. first time getting out in a while, super excited to get out and see a movie... sad to say we haven't been to a movie since they've started doing assigned seating and for a newbie it was little confusing at the register to pay, the screen shows The places available but was different then the one on my phone, the screen position and the back of house...no big deal they figured it out... but the gentleman that they got the tickets from was quite annoyed and inpatient I understand he does this 100 times a day... but be patient (older redhead gentleman) fake a smile ... needless to say they still had a good time just getting out ... read more

It's a total maze when it comes to buying snacks. Instead of putting all your order with one cashier person, you have to order certain items and when you want drinks or condiments you're directed to a different cashier person. Oh, and if you want popcorn or nachos you have to take it yourself in some corner. I watched an elderly man become confused about the sizing of the popcorn. The lady we put our first order with seemed impatient since we were confused with the process, and cut us off when we weren't even done ordering. The second guy who gave us our drinks/condiments/dealt with money was much friendlier. The actual seating was decent like the other theaters. Might not buy food in the future if we ever come back to this AMC though. Hopefully this isn't the new process of buying food in all AMC's. It's just too weird. read more

I bought tickets online for a movie for me and my daughter and she ended up getting sick. So I needed to get a refund. I called ahead and they said that they could refund the tickets before the movie started. So I just went in, and got a refund. But, they would not refund my full payment. They charged me $5 and said that there's nothing they can do about getting me a full refund. I know $5 doesn't seem like a lot, but that is $5 towards another show with my daughter. I would not recommend getting AMC tickets online, or even going into this theater. They rip you off to start with by charging you over $25 for two people to get in. And when your daughter gets sick and you need a refund to go with her later another day, they do not refund you the full amount. Customer service would not help at all, so I give this establishment one star. Don't get ripped off read more

Great seats, horrible employees horrible bathrooms. You can smell the bathrooms in theaters 1,2,3 and 4. With the volume of customers they n Ed cleaned hourly and once every three days. Also the plumbing and drains need attention. The staff is rude, constantly yelling at each other, boys harassing the girls and foul language. read more

Five stars for the super comfy recliners! So roomy. Just be careful and don't fall asleep. Weird setup with (free) parking level "on top" and have to take a bridge to cross? Also, ticket sales solely outside with kiosks inside. Just felt like the design of this place was wonky. read more

The parking is ample, the theatre was clean, employees are really nice and they have those "serve yourself" drinking machines, along with plenty of food options. The reclining seats are narrow, not like the wide black fancy ones you see at other theaters but they were comfy regardless. Just a CON regarding "Handicap Friendly".... it's friendly if you're in a wheelchair, but if you're in crutches with limited walking capabilities, this place is a nightmare. There's a long walkway into the building from the parking lot, then ANOTHER long walkway to the escalators that take you down to the entry, then more walking because the place is huge. One plus, it has an elevator to get downstairs. read more
