Do not hire this company for anything complicated! We hired Andrew to replace a boiler in our 2 pipe steam system in a 90 yr. Old house. He had done other minor plumbing projects for us with which we were happy but this one did not work out as well. It became clear he did not have experience with this type of system and initially did not install the pipes to,the boiler correctly which became apparent after we finally consulted a " senior" plumber who advised him how to redo the piping. After the installation was correct 1/3 of the radiators in the house were not working which had been functional with the old boiler. He was unable to figure out why so we had to hire another company at several thousand dollar cost and it turned out that Andrew had not properly skimmed the oil out of the boiler used to attach some of the pipes which spread throughout the system and this oil clogged radiator steam traps which made the radiators nonfunctional. This added several thousand dollars extra cost and he did not respond to our request to discuss the findings of the senior plumber. He told us he has been in independent business for 5 years but clearly has not encountered all the problems one will find in old houses around this area and did not have the knowledge for this sort of job. read more

Our hot water heater died on a Tuesday night. I reached out to 5 or 6 contractors. Andrew gave us a good price and could come on Thursday morning. They came on time (8:00 am) and everything was completed by 10:00 am. One thing I loved- there were a couple of small additions at no charge. Andrew replaced a vent that was too small and he felt could cause a carbon monoxide issue. I appreciate that it was included- no nickel and diming. He was able to work flexibly receiving photos of the space and provided a meaningful estimate, followed by a quote after a visit. He provided multiple options for our water heat replacement. When I asked him about his availability, he said, "I can do 8:30 tomorrow (Saturday) morning". Um, yeah! He and his assistant were here on time. They installed a new water heater that works beautifully in under 2 hours. Very reasonable with the price. What's fantastic is he gace me an "all-inclusive" price. No "gotchas", if you know what I mean. I'm definitely looking forward to working with him again. Overpriced for the work that was done. Charged $$300 the first hour and $220 per hour afterwards. was not able to resolve issue with boiler and I needed to call in someone else to check the boiler to tell me what was wrong with it. Cleaned the boiler but didn't do a good job as there was still debris underneath the burners. Didn't provide a receipt for work done either. looking for a plumber to inspect my 5-year old hybrid water heater. Andrew was the first one replying me on Yelp and scheduled a visit very quickly. I hired Andrew to install a garbage disposal that I had already purchased. It was slightly larger than the old one, so I was worried it would be a tight fit and told Andrew this over the phone before the job. The first thing he does is yank the old disposal out so hard that the sink dislodges. Then to fix the sink he pulls out the dishwasher, breaking the copper connecting pipe. He putting the sink back haphazardly with a gap between the top and the counter. I ask if he is going to caulk it and he says he doesn't do that -- seems to me like a standard thing for a plumber. Finally, he tries to put the new disposal in. It doesn't fit and he can't figure out a way to get to go in. Frustrated, he asks me to pay him $300 and says he wants to leave (his original estimate was $150-200). I offer him $200 for his time, but he won't accept the payment. Then he leaves, with the dishwasher still out of its place. He comes back because he forgot his phone, I ask him to reconnect the dishwasher He reluctantly does so and it starts leaking so he just shuts off the supply. He says the connecter is broken and I should go get a new one myself and he will install it the next day. I go out and buy the hose, but then he refuses to come back and install it. So now I have no disposal, a broken sink and a broken dishwasher. I found Andrew to be very unprofessional. Some jobs are challenging. To get frustrated and take it out on the customer, and to leave the customer's kitchen in worse condition than you found it is unacceptable. At least he didn't accept my money in the end, so I can pay another plumber to fix the dishwasher he broke. read more
