Arrived on time and was courteous. Diagnosed and fixed a bathtub leak in under 20 mins. Will hire again.

Called KW on Tues Jan 14th around 8am asking for drain service. Ken sr. arrived around 10am and looked at job. He said should be able to do Friday and that he would communicate to his son to send me a quote and get scheduled. Wednesday there was no contact, so I left a message late in the day asking for an update. Thursday morning, I called and got Ken jr. I asked for an update. He said what is this about? I told him and he said I will call my dad and get back to you. Thursday, Friday, Sat and Sunday go by with no contact. As I write this review it is Thursday Jan 23rd and I have heard nothing from either one of them. Needless to say, I got somebody else. I am baffled how they blew me off and wasted my time. Jan 23rd update: I just got a message from KW Plumbing after leaving a complaint on their website message form: Here is their response to my complaint of no contact. First lol, best of luck Second I'm a good plumber, I run this from my phone in my pocket... I'm a shitty secretary. I'm sorry read more

Very friendly and professional! I am planning on using their service for any plumbing needs at our properties.

Ken has done plumbing work for me for years. He shows up when he said he will. Is quick and efficient. They clean up after themselves as if they were never there. The work is outstanding and prices are very reasonable. From running gas lines to fixing outside facets to replacing toilets he is my guy. I am in the service business for almost 60 years I know good service when I see it.. Ken gives outstanding service that he should be proud of. He is the only plumber I call when I need one. read more

It was difficult to take out my old faucet because it got rusty and tight over time. Ken spent a lot of time to take it off. Thank you for this. read more

So refreshing! After 30 years in my home I finally found an honest plumber I can trust. Recent service included fixing our zone 2 heat switch, installing a bathroom faucet, and replacing a shower stall valve and spray head. The price was very reasonable compared to other quotes I received. They offer free estimates unlike the "big guys" who charge you ~$100 to walk in your door and high rates so they can pay for their advertising budget. read more

I had a very positive experience with KW Plumbing & Heating. My boiler wasn't producing steam. They diagnosed the problem quickly and repaired it just as fast. They were early to the appointment. $200 service call fee was appropriate for the nature of the outage and the urgency with which I needed my problem fixed. There was no high pressure sales, upgrade or maintenance contract talk. I would not hesitate to use KW P&H again and I would recommend them to a anyone that has HVAC problems that need fixing. read more

Excellent service and response. We've had the boiler issue for the past 2-3yrs and the guys we've been using just kept on telling us to replace various parts which never fixed the issue. Our boiler kept shutting itself off randomly and finally it stopped working all together. We tried a new service, called KW Plumbing. The response was immediate. Ken and his dad took the time to diagnose the problem by calling the manufacturer, had the correct part delivered and helped fixed the boiler within days. Two weeks later the boiler is still working perfectly and we are so relieved having reliable heat source for this coming winter. We have a Viessman brand boiler. I would recommend KW to anyone for Ken's perseverance. read more

I went with 5 stars, but came close to knocking off a star due to the cost. I had a shutoff valve to our washing machine break when I shut it off. I checked, and thought about getting the $40 part and doing it myself, as it seemed pretty easy. When I saw people online talking about getting a different sized washer, I figured I wanted a pro to do this. Ken arrived in less than an hour (which I was very grateful for), had the part with him, got it installed quickly, and was really nice. He even hooked up the water hammer arrestor that I had been replacing (which I thought was going to require a service call to LG, as the threads on the washing machine were damaged). The only reason I came close to giving just four stars was that I was charged $230 (and no breakdown of the price on the invoice), or close to $200 in labor for a ~15 minute job, for a company in town. But, I didn't ask about pricing before he came, and I think value shouldn't factor highly in ratings, so I kept it at 5 stars. read more

Ken came and replaced the kitchen faucet and installed a new valve to the sillcock. He did a good job and left no mess. His prices are always reasonable. read more

Highly recommended! Responded immediately to my call and came out to assess the same day and to fix the next morning. Very helpful and professional with reasonable cost. read more

Kenny & his dad were very helpful in clearing a kitchen drain clog and installing a new garbage disposal. I would definitely contact them in the future! read more

Responded very quickly and showed up within half an Hour. Solved my problem under an hour. Amazing service! Highly recommended!

Reached out through Yelp and got a response within an hour. The owner came by that morning to look at my project, and texted me an estimate within minutes of leaving my house. That afternoon the friendly crew was in my basement replacing my water heater. They worked efficiently and cleanly, and got me a heater with a lifetime warranty for a great price. Highly recommended! read more

These guys are simply the best. I recently had my kitchen countertops redone and called Ken to fix the plumbing job that goes along. The entire project had several issues and delays like last minute delay in granite installation, in correct size of the hole, me having ordered wrong replacement parts (more than once) and very specific requirements of my RO system. But Ken and Vinny were very patient and understanding of the issues all along. He came to my house promptly without any delays each time and did a perfect job finally without charging me much. Lastly, the team comes well covered with regards to Covid safety and cleans up after the job. read more

Excellent job! Ken Woods showed up within the hour and fixed my leaking kitchen sink, replacing the piping expertly.

Great service! Our heat went out, I called at 7:45am, they called back at 8am and had a technician at my house at 9:30, the heat was working within an hour. They had all of the parts needed on their truck. Highly recommend. read more

Needed a hot water heater after mine died suddenly. I first tried the big box store that sold me the current one, but they kept giving me the runaround and had no clue when they could fix it. So I tried this company after seeing all the positive reviews. They had a new water heater in my house in less than 24 hours at a great price! They even showed up earlier than planned and were done in less than an hour. I could not be happier with their service. Highly recommended. read more

We had a sudden if minor need (slow leaking drain pipe in the midst of a basement refinishing). They came next morning and fixed it up right away. The crew was professional, respectful and efficient. Will gladly use them again in the future. read more

Recently has Kenny & team uninstall and replace a new dishwasher & oven. Was skeptical having service work with a newborn in the house during COVID, but Kenny and team complied with all requests including wearing masks and taking extra precautions understanding our concerns. Very professional, very reasonably priced, and were in and out in an hour & half. Plan to use them for any future plumbing needs and would recommend to anyone in the MetroWest/Middlesex area. read more

Loved he show up after phone called in 1 hour, fixed my 2nd floor bathroom under sink water leaking problem. Great service, great price, definitely recommend this local business to all my family and friends. read more

pathetic service. We called them for a toilet overflow and the guy couldn't identify the issue and charged us $200 dollars for not fixing anything at all. read more

Ken is great. I called to request service on my boiler (which was not producing heat or hot water). He was fully booked for the day and was not able to come to the house to service it. HOWEVER, he walked me through the resolution over the phone and we got it working again in about 3 minutes. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend! read more

We needed a section of corroded copper pipe replaced. They were in and out in about 15 minutes and did an excellent job on the repair!

Do not hire this contractor for Veissmann. Claimed he was a certified Veissman installer. Does not know the product. Does not stand by his work. Cannot program the computer needed to operate the system. Does not return calls. Used cheap shim to hold condensation pipe up, which of course broke within months and caused damage to home. Used too short pipe, did not meet code, etc. I could go on and on. We have pics, come see for yourself. read more

While our 1900's home has lots of charm, I'm not a fan of boiling hot water on the stove turn of the century style to ensure my dishes are sanitized properly... After getting the run around from another plumber (who will get another review all to himself) for an entire week, I was desperate to get the hot water to my kitchen sink working again. Since I'm new to MA, I started with google and then checked Yelp reviews and settled on two companies to call. Both I spoke to were fantastic and Kenneth Wood Plumbing and Heating won since they could come out the next morning. Ken (senior, his son works for him too) gave me a window and arrive during that time with an assistant. Very personable and quick to assess the issue and get to work. They were able to take care of the whole situation and clean up everything in the area they worked in 30-45 minutes. I genuinely appreciate when people take their jobs as seriously as I take mine and want to make the best use of everyone's time. I also had him take a quick look at the hot water heater and he gave me some pricing for when it's time comes as well - which is not only quite reasonable, but he also let us know about the more efficient tank less options and rebates available for them as well. He knows his stuff and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone in the area and if we need a plumber again he's going to be our first call. Price was totally fair and we are very happy with the work! read more

Thanks to Kenny our shower is much better than before. He responded quickly and not only fixed our water heater but the water pressure too! He was knowledgeable and very friendly. read more

We called Ken on a Monday morning after discovering a burst pipe. Three other companies couldn't fit us in but Ken responded within 15 minutes telling us he'd be at the house within two hours, which he and his crew were. They quickly assessed the situation, explained all the steps throughout the process, and worked hard to get everything back in working order. After fixing the problems, they made recommendations for future improvements and were extremely nice and professional throughout the visit. The fee they charged was very reasonable and we look forward to using Ken in the future for our plumbing and HVAC needs. read more
