I love gojng to the movies, this place is local and a quick drive from the home. The seats were hard to manage and mine didn't move back at all but would go forward so awkward it was uncomfortable. It's possible I didn't use it correctly but me and my friend both had a herd time using the seats. We went thanks to her job giving her a huge discount. As a movie lover and AMC A-List member *flips hair*, I can't believe that it's my first time visiting this location. My partner and I decided to take in a matinee to watch the latest Gladiator and I'm so glad that we did. Located in a huge plaza that also includes a spirits store and a Main Event on the lower level of the theater, this is really a one-stop shop. Due to the theater and Main Event, there's tons of parking available across the lot. When we arrived, it was packed but we still found a pretty okay spot for the car. The movie theater is on the second level, accessible by stairs, escalators and an elevator. Once we made it to the second floor, we knew we were in the right place. Although the ticket booth was lit up, gone are the days that anyone is actually sitting in there, lol. We always get our tickets online but it was funny to see. They also offer two stations outside where guests can purchase tickets before they head inside so that it's an easy transaction for all. Upon entry, our tickets were quickly scanned and we were welcomed in. It was a weekend afternoon and surprisingly, the lobby wasn't packed with folks although I knew that people were in the theaters. Not a complaint though, that means a smoother snack pickup! Like most AMC theaters, this location has a MacGuffins bar located inside. Although I can't enjoy a cocktail these days, I do always appreciate that you can get a stiff drink, a glass of wine or one of their specialty cocktails if you'd like to enjoy a little buzz while you take in a movie. My focus was on the snack bar! I don't ever skip the snack bar, inflation or not. My traditional snack order is: nachos w/an extra cup of jalapenos and a glass of wine, which I've recently switched to the biggest Icee possible. My partner went with the mozzarella sticks which isn't out of the norm for him. Ordering was super simple and it's always great to rack up some points. Once you order, you go down to the pick-up area to grab your food. I was surprised that the order took about 10 minutes as they're just being heated up, and they almost forgot my nachos until my bf said something, but we got them! For my icee, I was SO hyped to see that the Wicked marketing craze had reached the drink dispensers as my green apple icee was everythingggg. As we headed to our theater, I took notice of how clean the hallways were. I used the ladies room later and was happy to see that it was also clean. Always great to see. What I didn't expect was how much I would love the chairs! These are the basic recliners that I've seen at other theaters, these chairs allow you to recline your feet and your back, soooo needed for me these days. As soon as my partner saw me getting comfortable, he told me that I was going to fall asleep lol (which I did). I was SO comfy! Every time I come to this theater I have a great experience. You take the escalator up to the top level from the parking lot (free parking). Once at the theatre, they check your ticket and bags at the door then you proceed to the theatre, concessions or the bar. My only issue is that the food is expensive and not the best. Which is an overall issue for movie theaters. But luckily the theater is relaxing by the Dolby theater is nice. read more

I honestly attend anything at this theater under duress. The customer service is abhorrent, Laila in particular is just plain rude. The concession counter seems to be intentionally slow and apparently, they now need to see your ticket stub for popcorn refills. Who still gets a stub? How do you present a stub when it's a digital ticket on the phone of another person in your party? There are no stubs anymore and since when have they checked a stub to sell you over priced candy or stale nachos? They don't. Why? Because to get in the door you had to have already presented a ticket. If this is an actual policy it wasn't properly vetted since there are so many holes in it. Honestly it came across more as a way for Laila to flex some authority for whatever reason. In the future I think I'll stream at home where I can do the $60 Theatre trip for less than $10 and with a lot less bad attitude. read more

Nice theater. Liked the reclining seats and the spacing. The seats need a little cleaning and the controls could be a bit more sensitive. Almost feels like your finger will break trying to push them into position. I didn't have any food or drink, but the area was very busy and looked clean. The theater itself was also clean. The only issue was the restroom. The restroom was okay, but could have been cleaned and restocked. There were no paper towels and the floors needed at least a quick mop. Yes, I know it's a bathroom, but the floors should not be wet. Not just around the sink area, but several toilets needed to have the floor taken care of and the seats. read more

I haven't seen a movie in theaters since pre covid so this was an exciting experience anyway but never have I been to a movie theater where the employees know stuff like it's their job-I don't say that in a rude way but like, we were going to see The Watcher and the woman behind the beverage counter was telling us about how it was actually M. Night Shymalons (I'm sure that's spelled wrong ) daughter's movie, not his, which I thought it was-not disappointing btw. And then proceeded to tell us about his new movie that was coming out which we saw the preview for and CAN'T WAIT. Aside from the friendly and informative staff, the theater was huge, clean and comfortable. Plus it has an arcade and billiards attached downstairs that we didn't make it to but looked super fun. I was having a really bad day yesterday. It was obstacle after obstacle and seemed like everything that could go wrong went wrong. I decided to give myself a break and escape to the movies. I originally bought my ticket with a voucher on the app for a 3pm showtime of Sinners at the Madison Yard location but bc I was having a day I wasn't going to make it in time. So I decided to cancel the ticket and rebook for the 610p showtime at Parkway Pointe. Well of course the system wouldn't let me reuse my voucher because it hadn't fully kicked back to me. It takes days I learned. So I went anyway to see if someone at the theater could help me. There wasn't really anything they could do within the system so I thought I was out of luck. Ryan was assisting me initially and I asked if there was a number I could call to get things sorted out. He got Michael over after explaining the situation to him and Michael gave me a card with the contact info of who I could speak with and I was grateful. What made me even more grateful is that he was able to take care of a ticket for me right then and there for the 610 show. I was not expecting it and it was so kind and it was what I really needed for the day that before I knew it, tears were falling down my face. I thanked them both for their help and excused myself to get myself together. I returned and decided to get a drink from the bar. I didn't get her name but the bartender was very nice and made a really good Henni-colada! It was delicious and just what I needed to enjoy the movie even more. This AMC complex shares its entrance with Main Event Entertainment. I didn't know this fact, and I was confused when I saw a lot of people lining up to get in on the ground floor, thinking they were all queuing up for AMC theaters. Using the escalators or elevators, AMC customers have to keep going up to the highest level to get to the theaters. Prior to doing so, customers park in a free and large lot with lots of available parking. We both have AMC Stubs A-List monthly memberships, so we select the theater location (for any type of AMC theater, including IMAX), the movie, and our seats. Our "tickets" are then sent to our mobile apps. When we got to the AMC theaters level, we had to show our "tickets" to the employee, show our IDs, and the employee scanned our QR codes. The employee then told us which theater to go to. With our AMC Stubs membership, we can get discounts on all food and drink purchases (although I'm not sure this can be applied to alcohol purchases). Since we went early in the day, the AMC complex was clean and fully stocked (restrooms and concessions). The employees were very courteous and helpful. The movie theater showing our movie was also clean, had spacious and comfortable recliners that fully functioned. The lighting and sound system were perfect, and sightlines were clear. One of the reasons why I love coming to AMC theaters is because I can put as much of the butter topping on my freshly popped popcorn using the butter dispensers! The employees working concessions were quick and efficient. There was a pretty good selection of snacks and beverages. I saw that the MacGuffins Bar and Lounge just off the lobby was well stocked, although I didn't see an employee behind the bar, nor did I see any customers waiting for alcohol. During my first stay in Atlanta, this was my theater of choice due to the area, cleanliness & customer service. This is was my 1st theater visit since 2/20. I couldn't have been more comfortable & pleased with the service, sanitizing & social distance efforts. Kudos to Katrina, the sole employee working both the Stubs Premier & regular lines at the Concession Stand. She swapped out gloves frequently & navigated between the lines with solid professionalism & patience. There's always one customer being rude & in-patient & she handled herself just right. The manager on duty saw the line backing up & popped up to assist Katrina without hesitation. Our movie was 2.45 hours long & with the sole trip to the Restroom, I noticed the renovation as well as the cleanliness. Speaking of renovations (I'm sure I'm late) the stadium reclining seating is absolutely a plus. To my surprise I still have rewards to redeem which gives me a good reason to return sooner than later. read more

This theater seems disappoint me every time I visit! This time it's because my friend that was in a wheelchair had problems getting in and out of the door even though there's a wheelchair door there's no button to open that remains open so she can get through it without the banging of the door on her! I don't think this theater is ADA compliant. There's also the entrance that has a wheelchair sign but no wheelchair button to keep the door open. We had a real hard time getting in and out of the bathroom because of the sharp right turns in the entrance! They really need to do something to be more. Nice theater with the modern reclining seats and large screens and tons of seats. The parking lot is secure. Be prepared for a climb up the stairs or the escalator to reach the door. I honestly kind of like it though as it adds more anticipation to the experience. read more

We ended up going to this theater to see the renaissance movie by Beyoncé, and this theater did not disappoint us. They were playing all of Beyoncé songs while we were waiting in the lobby. They also had a screen set up to take pictures. It was a pretty cool experience. Also, the movie was good. It was the entire concert .....the theater had chairs that vibrated and it felt like the speakers were built into the seats, they also have a pretty cool bar and bartender. my only issue was the popcorn was not fresh and it felt like they had scraped the bottom. read more

This is one of the better AMC locations. They keep the theater clean and the prices are more affordable on a regular day than others. They also provide more drink machines and food options at this location. The seats for some reason are also more comfortable here. The great thing about this one is also the location. After the movies, theres tons of restaurants to choose from around the area for lunch or dinner. Parking can be a little bit of a hassel during the weekends since Main Event is located closeby, but other than that, I like this area. read more

The concession stand was slow, out of multiple food items. The popcorn had a 20-30 min wait. We decided to get nachos and pizza. The nachos were stale, cheese was in a can not warmed. The pizza was hard to chew. The MacGuffins bar was not open on Friday night. The bathrooms had not recently been cleaned. I have gone to this theatre a few times. I enjoy this theatre, there is a bar, the seats recline and it has always been clean whenever I go. The parking lot can get crowded because main event is right underneath it but there is underground parking if you can't find any on top. The only complaint I have is the wait for snacks, there's 3 registers and one line so you can be waiting in line for a while if you want popcorn. read more

The popcorn was warm and delicious. It was,however, too much for me to finish alone. I asked if they had s to go bag but they didn't. I took the popcorn home and put it in a gallon zip lock bag.
