We had an undermount kitchen sink installed and needed the garbage disposal and pvc installed. I don't enjoy spending time under the sink so I thought we'd pay a plumber to take care of it. Flatirons quoted us $1300. I paid less than $50 for a new flange, pvc pieces, some putty, etc. and installed it in less than an hour. I don't know how they can justify their pricing. They were prompt and professional, but do yourself a favor and line up a couple different quotes because this one was offensive.

Joe is The GOAT. Just moved into the new place and needed a new water heater. I received many…read morequotes that started at 5k and they used scare tactics to push for upgrades and unnecessary work. Thankfully I found Joe. He was knowledgeable, funny, a great guy and didn't try to upsell a thing. He replaced my water heater at a great price. While he was here my sewer was backing up when he tried to drain the water heater. He asked that we get it cleared before he finished the job. We called Homeservice plumbers and they came out, said there was a block and they would have to tear up the basement and the starting price was almost 7k. More if they found other problems and they repeatedly tried to use, used car sales tactics and scare tactics to get me to replace Joe as my plumber and destroy the basement to clear a "block". Joe recommended Colorado Sewer Service and they came out and cleared the "block" in 10 minutes for 1/50th of what they were going to charge to tear up the basement and install a new unnecessary pipe just to begin with, which I am sure they would have tried to turn into a 20k plus job. Joe did a fast and excellent job and is just a good human being. I cannot say enough good things about this man and his business. Without a doubt I will use him for every job I need in the future. Needed repair on my Navien tankless combi boiler water heater (a bit of a specialty task / need). I…read moreconsulted Navien's website first for service providers (they were not listed there), but consulted BBB(Better Business Bureau) and did a quote request (the request went out to a number of companies) Based on my (detailed) request, I would have appreciated if they said they don't specialize in this work, however they were did schedule a consult quickly. The tech that came out, while punctual and respectful, didn't appear to focus on and provide a suitable solution for my specific needs (I was quoted for a replacement of the pressure release valve - something outside the water heater that was making noises / having the issue). After getting advice from others, I would have had to spend more time and money as the pressure release valve would not have solved the issue. Quick response and quote, but not really what I was specifically looking / needing. Not to say I wouldn't consult them in the future for other, more general repair needs.
