So many screens so plenty of movie options! There is a parking garage across the street that is free to use. When you arrive, they scan your ticket and let you know what theater you are in. Straight ahead is the lobby where you can order concessions. I like that they always have the popcorn ready to go so you just grab and go. I saw a movie in Dolby so I will be ranking that theater. Unfortunately, this location is pretty rundown. While there are lots of theaters and options, our seats were pretty beat up. Good news is the quality of the picture was still great The way in which you have to go through the line to pay for food and then go back to pick up food is really bizarre. I've been working remotely and on call since the pandemic. I've been going to this theater with my work laptop in a backpack for years. Today because of Spider-Man which I wasn't even seeing. They turned me away. Meanwhile two women who each had a purse the size of Montana were allowed to pass through. I'm a male, and I went and bought a purse and wouldn't you know they let me through. Is this gender affirming care? Or discrimination? Or stupidity? Then I spoke to the general manager, who told me that the person who they claimed was a manager that turned me away. The first time isn't a manager, and that the person at the front is new and then I asked how do I prevent this happening again and they said ask for a manager and I said, but here we are. What a nice place to see a movie! Compared to other theaters I've been to I couldn't believe how many staff they had and how many jobs they were providing. I did not care for the self service check-in, and the refreshments were expensive, but the place to pick up your food was well staffed and it seemed like there were people swarming everywhere cleaning. The seats were comfortable, and the theater itself had a nice feel to it. And of course, when the film ended there was someone standing there waiting to do a cleanup after all the patrons had left. I thought this speaks not only to the dedication of the staff, but to good training in guest services provided by Management. I will definitely try to visit this location in the future. This is not our usual theater. I was hoping it would be better. But we went on Friday for Michael and it was so loud we had to wear ear plugs the entire time. My watch measured 103 decibels at times with most of the movie being 85-95 db. This is hearing loss level. I did not bother complaining because it seems to be a company wide issue. Our usual AMC is also painfully loud. I'm going to look for other chains to try or just stay home. What's the point in watching a sound-oriented movie like Michael with earplugs? Or any movie for that matter? I complained at our regular amc theater once and they were apologetic but it's been the same or worse every time. I give up. I do not need to be physically shaken by sound. I'd rather hear it as the filmmakers intend, which I'm guessing is not with ear plugs. read more

I had my birthday party here earlier this year and have since moved to the area! I rented a whole ass theater for my 38th birthday party, and not many theaters offer this so I thought it was a cool idea. I had a great time, and I loved getting to be obnoxious during the movie with approximately 40 of my friends! I recently came back to see Wicked on a Tuesday night and had a lovely time with my friends. The staff is always friendly and I think this AMC offers lots of great options in terms of movies, snacks, and showtimes. I think the biggest perk is the free AMC Stubs membership which gets you discount Tuesdays. Movie theater pricing has steadily increased so a discount is much appreciated! Why would you go to this AMC Westminster theater when there is a Alamo Drafthouse down the street? Because with tax, it's $7.21 for the ticket on Discount Tuesdays, that's why. Your mileage will definitely vary depending on when you're here. I was in town and stopped in here for a matinee movie on a Monday before heading to the airport. I purchased my ticket using the mobile app. While waiting in the lobby, I saw that other people were having trouble purchasing tickets while using one of the self-ticketing kiosks. Eventually, an employee came by and reset each machine. Once inside, I found the movie theater to be clean. Both the sound and picture quality were good. read more

Been going to AMC because their movie pass is the best imo. This westminster theater and the highlands ranch theater are the two best AMC theaters in Colorado bc they have the newest remodeled IMAX (Laser not Xenon, best viewing/sound experience), Dolby theaters (for big screen/sound close to IMAX but with nice recliners), and Prime (basically Dolby runner up). Its technically not the ultimate best IMAX but there is only one theater in Colorado owned by regal that has a technically better theater which rarely only matters when there is a new Christopher Nolan movie that supports the format lol but the regal movie plan sucks. Anyways, Westminster AMC is usually pretty clean, has the new nice assigned seat recliners, and almost never has problems. They also have a lot more theater rooms so their movie selection/times is a lot more than others even having plenty of foreign films as well. Its also located it a great area close to a lot of great restaurants. read more

We always go to movies at this location as it is convenient. The crowds are not too large so we can find seats that are somewhat separated from others. The concession area is fine except for the sodas. The machines are old, the water does not taste good, so that affects the taste of the drinks. Consequently, we never order drinks, only popcorn. We have the stubs A-list so we will keep going. read more

Why would you ever come here when there is a gorgeous Alamo right down the street? This place is so popular among Westminster residents, and I cannot fathom why the parking lot is always full. I am forced to come here today when the Alamo projectors are on hiatus. I ordered 2 cheeseburger sliders ahead of time, thinking that it would be decent size burgers, but they are like convenience store burgers. The bun was very hard. This movie theater is always dirty. AMC Westminster is a place where you will need to go if you want the most choices for your movie going experience and you are in this area. I think AMC Flatiron has a better vibe and more of the theater experience that...at least I want. Something about a smaller lobby, getting your snacks from a concession stand with people working there, and a lack of a weird empty lobby make it better. I also worked there briefly as a teen so maybe I'm biased. This movie theater seems like it is falling apart and ready for a movie experience where no humans work in the building and robots run the place. The letter and numbers on the theaters are falling off. My seat was wobbly and felt unsafe (the recliner still worked though). Also, it saves time in the long run but getting my popcorn bucket from myself from a heated shelf and not seeing them scoop it fresh is just kind of a bummer. Maybe I am thinking too much in the past but the popcorn tasted fresher then...even though it is probably the same freshness. Will you see your movie here? Yes. With more theaters means more selection. I saw Poor Things here (rated it 5 stars on Letterboxd) and I wouldn't have been able to see this movie at the Flatiron location because they don't really do limited releases there. You could be stuck going to a worse theater for sure but if you have a choice between this theater and the other AMCs in the area...choose another one. read more

Meh, a little run down but adequate to see a movie. We went to see Downton Abbey, The Finale. There was a full half-hour of trailers before the movie began. So the advertised 4:00 start became 4:30. The whole building could use a thorough deep cleaning. Unfortunately not abnormal for some theaters. The pluses are a wonderful screen and sound system. The staff were attentive and friendly from the time we entered the front door of the complex, through ticket purchasing and through friendly thank you's and good night's upon our exit. The complex is nicely wheelchair accessible, including restrooms. There is a large parking lot too. Unfortunately we parked out back and had to go to the front entrance to get in. Our fault but better signage would have avoided that issue. We didn't buy any food but our "small" fountain cola was quite large in actual size. A nice deal, especially in a business that relies heavily on concessions to make money. I will likely return as it is no worse than many theaters and the pluses made it acceptable. I tried to find a contact for the general manager at Promenade 24 Theaters in Westminster but could not. I went to the 2 movies over the weekend, one Friday night 6/28 and again Saturday night 6/29. One of the recliners was broken so I went to Guest Services after the movie. No one was behind the counter but there was a security guard leaning against the counter, looking at his phone. He saw me and moved away. I waited and then finally asked the security guard if anyone was at guest services, he told me to go out front. He continued looking at his phone. It was obvious that he was not aware of anything going on in the theater but wasn't interested in engaging with people. The next night after the movie, as I was leaving, saw the same security guard glued to his phone not being aware of much. I don't care how bored you are, you are there for a reason, pay attention. read more

I spotted it crawling in my empty food container.(while it was in the empty seat next to me) then saw it again as it crawled out after i kicked it down the row. Unfortunately i did not come to the movies to be accompanied by a mouse. I know this may be ridiculous, but I'm supporting movie theaters. It's one kind of entertainment that gets us out and about. Television is evolving so much that people hardly get up from their living rooms or bedrooms anymore! We need to get up, move, and not forget to live. This theater has been renovated and there are bathrooms on the second floor now which makes it easier to get to and not have to walk all the way down the stairs. They also have elevators too. Theater that we were in were all recliners. I really like how they have revamped the theater! Also really like the reserving seats ahead of time and not worrying to fight for good seats! Words cannot capture what an incredible burning dumpster fire this place is right now. It went from being our go-to theater to being laughably terrible. We went last night to see Avatar: The Way of Water, and when we walked in the door there was literally WATER pouring from the ceiling above the guest services area and into an empty trash can . Literal water! God bless the workers who were literally just going about their job with the roof in danger of buckling over their heads. Once the movie started, we were about a half hour into Avatar when the left eye of our 3D Glasses went blank; after briefly fearing I was having a stroke, I realized it was everyone. Then the movie stopped. They tried to restart it three times before giving up completely and starting over again, previews and all. What already is a LONG movie at 3.12 hours turned out to be 4+ hours due to having to watch the first 30 minutes twice. I felt like I aged 15 years by the time it was over. When we came out of the theater the restroom was chaos; almost every stall was out of order, every sink was out of order and there was not a paper towel in sight. I know things have suffered since the pandemic, but the owners of this AMC seem to be putting their best resources and staffers in the wrong places. This was actually the nicest movie theatre I have ever been to. It looked like a mini mall on the inside lol. There was a nice little bar with every drink you would want (Sam Adam's Winter Lager on draft ). IMAX theatre with huge comfy reclining seats ; could lift the arm rest for cuddling. The theatre was clean throughout, the staff was very professional and friendly, and they had a good setup for snacks and drinks. FYI, we saw the new hunger games and it was really good. Absolutely atrocious!!! This place was outrageous. I already knew it would cost a fortune because well AMC. We came here last night 5/26/24 Sunday to see the Fall Guy. The movie itself was great. We both really enjoyed it. Couple things.. tickets were 15.75$ or so per ticket. My wife bought the tickets and I bought the food. 1 large pop corn and 2 large drinks was 28$. None of the machines had ice and the place was trashed! There was no one serving popcorn: it was all grab and go. The soda was lukewarm without ice alone. We also bought drinks alcoholic ones at the little bar. 2 small drinks one rum and coke and 1 cran vodka cost 30$. the seats in the theatre were quite nice and the layout made it so you didnt see other patrons behind or in front of you. There was a rude woman who had been in the lobby invading my space several times. That's not the theatres fault. Halfway through I used the men's restroom. It was disgusting. As a guy I take pride in my hygiene and am not your typical disgusting male. There was blood in the stall on the wall. Shit on the floor bloody boogers smeared. Pee all over the stall walls, paper towels overflowing. Water everywhere. I told the girl who worked at the ticket station and she didn't care. I used the other men's restroom close by the theatre inside by screen 18 after the movie. Same thing. But pee filled urinals, trash bags over urinals. Absolutely nasty. Clearly they don't give a shit or take care of their restrooms. I looked for a manager everywhere and didn't see one/ we will not return to this location. We spent a combined 85$ for lukewarm drinks and cold popcorn and overpriced alcohol that was watered down. Would not reccomend. read more

Bought tickets for a showing for the imax theater, $50 for two people and they were the most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in. Did not recline compared to the smaller cheaper theaters inside promenade. The entire theater is a mess from the concessions to the theaters. I went here last Wednesday to see the new D.C film "Super Pets". I loved it, haven't smiled that much since Taco Bell brought the Mexican pizza back! Needless to say I had a wonderful time. I even purchased myself a small treat (some tasty Redvines) It was a very enjoyable experience overall. Unfortunately my day took a sharp turn when I attempted to leave. I attempted to open the nearest door to exit the building and it was sealed. When I begin walking towards the other door I got distracted and completely lost my sense of direction. The next seven minutes consisted of me anxiously walking too and fro in search of a way out. Fortunately thanks to a handful of fellow movie goers I was able to safely exit. read more

This theater is trash. Been here twice with friends for some movies. It's always dirty, and I mean everything is dirty. The bathrooms, the theaters, the concession area. The soda is watered down and nasty. The popcorn tastes stale even when fresh. People talk during the movie. I think I'll stick to the Cherry Creek AMC. Hard pass on this one. read more

Why even show Oppenheimer in IMAX if you don't care whether it's in focus? Doesn't seem too much to ask. "The projectionist doesn't want to fix it," was the answer they gave me when I brought it to management's attention. "And it's been happening for a while." The film started and stopped several times before it finally got going and even then, it had several other fatal issues that weren't being attended to: the sound warbled, and the light fluctuated. I'm betting that the projectionist was just overwhelmed by the complexity of the projector and the constant complaints that they just gave up caring. Also, the screen (in theater 20) has vertical marks which were visible in lighter scenes. At the screening I went to, there was a line of people asking for a refund for all of the above-mentioned problems, but the staff tried to gaslight us and tell us that these problems weren't really problems but part of the film-makers intentions. Except for the focus, which was due to a rogue projectionist, but everything else, according to them, Christopher Nolan actually intended: the scratches, the uneven sound and lighting (probably a projector bulb about to die). It's hard to know why these people are working in a movie theater when they, and AMC, care so little about the quality of the projected image. If AMC really wants people back in their theaters spending money for the big screen experience they can't get at home, they have to actually care about the films they screen. Wait, I'm seeing similar reviews from 8/8 and 8/14 with the same problems. read more

While I know the staff cannot control what others do I feel like most humans should have the common decency to maybe you know...remove your crying baby from a movie called " a quiet place ". Also, there was someone next to me smoking a THC vape the whole time so it was stinking up the area we were in. Not only that, this movie theater is DISGUSTING. No hand sanitizer anywhere and the line line concessions was a disaster. We walked into the the DOLBY cinema where we paid a premium price for and was greeted with trash inside of our cup holders and the seats had clearly not been clean or sanitized. And popcorn. Was. And 10/10 it's more of I was correct on it. Don't go see Oppenheimer 70mm here. The film they're showing in theater 20 is scratched and damaged. It has persistent artifacts across the screen as a result. They know this. They are aware. They also had the film stop numerous times throughout the movie. It was also out of focus. read more

The floors were sticky with spilled soda. Trash on the counters that needed wiped down. There was only one person at each station and no one at all to sell tickets, just the kiosks up front.There is no online option for military discount tickets, so we went to customer service desk. The man in front of us went to see Oppenheimer. He said it was blurry and the staff member agreed, told him the lens was broken. She didn't know when it would be fixed. So the theater was selling tickets for it anyway. I feel it is irresponsible for them to put their employees in that situation. AMC should be supporting the good people that show up to work. read more

Just went to AMC o watch Oppenheimer on 70mm. The screen was jumpy and virtually impossible to watch. Unaligned film projector. When we went to get help, a 20-something manager was happy to give us our money back, but wouldn't even consider going up to the projector to fix the issue. read more
