If there a way to give them 0 STARS I would. I am a 20 year old man trying to bring my two 15 year old sisters to see Cinderella a PG MOVIE. The ticket guy would not let us through because none of us was 21 or older. I could understand if it was rated R movie, but it was for Cinderella. I was beyond pissed. If you want to enjoy a disruption free movie, go during matinée. If you want to see a scary movie with loud annoying young patrons - so you don't feel too scared - go on weekend nights. This is a second time I've seen a scary movie in a weekend night here. I felt more annoyed than scared. Update: Went to a late night show last night. What is going on! I feel bad for this AMC. This theater was renovated not too long ago but the majority of the patrons it attracts are pigs! Seriously? Ladies if you use the restroom, check before you leave the stall! I'm not talking about just one stall, it was many many stalls. Apparently my date felt the same way in the men's restroom. Clean after yourselves. AMC has custodians but that doesn't give you a right to be nasty. Same as the fire exit stairs, people left trash, not just left but thrown. It was Friday night and AMC did not hire enough people for the concession stand. 20 minutes in line. And what is this "Premier" line? Gauging your customers much? Lastly, we were in line to get it, long line again to show our e ticket but there were 2 people checking in patrons when one of the worker said "paper tickets here, e tickets there". The line became a gaggle. People at the back of the line cut in like they're the only ones that have e tickets. How rude! They know what they're doing, selfish and no manners much? read more

I know that this theater can't help whatever its policies are because they are dictated by the main company. The price for food is outrageous! Over $20 for a pretzel and a soda?! Besides that at this location the Dolby experience in number 12, was very lacking. The speakers for the reverb up in the ceiling make too much of a rattling noise i thought they'd fall from the ceiling. Plus the trailers before the movie were completely out of focus. When i found someone to help, they said i was wrong, but everyone i was sitting next to thought it was still out of focus. So my husband went to talk to someone, they said it was fine, even though it was clearly out of focus. People called out that it was still out of focus. Bad customer service. I don't normally go out to theaters very much any more because of the price and people and this time was no different. Maybe it was just bad timing, not the right staff. I don't know. read more

The reclining seats are so nice. Buying tickets online ahead of time was easy and convenient. Drinks are self serve, which I prefer. But... the restrooms are awful. No soap, no toilet paper other than that covering the floor. There are dispensers for free tampons and pads, which are of course empty. read more

I will never be back to this theater! If I could give it zero stars I would! My mother and I went to go see the new movie Shazam, and besides the girl loudly smacking next to me and the kids who snuck in on the floor all was well. Until I saw something in my peripheral view, a HUGE FAT roach climbing on the wall. I pointed it out to my mom we were grossed out, but didn't think we'd find one crawling in the popcorn!! YES A ROACH IN THE POPCORN! We couldn't believe it and instantly made our way out. Upon approaching the manager she proceeded to say they'd get pest control, she was NOT surprised, just another roach I guess. We were able to get a refund, but we will not be back!! I love love love movies and from all the theaters in houston this is my absolute favorite. It is at a good distance from where I live but I do not mind the commute. I enjoy the fact that I am able to purchase tickets online as well as reserve my seats before hand. Just last night I signed up for their premier rewards club, so I got to skip the regular line and go straight to the concession stand. They have pretty good deals and its only $15 yearly. I love this AMC Willowbrook 24. All the seats are recliner chairs, they have a bar area, all the things the other "high end" places have for cheaper! I will say the food is pricey but it is a movie theater place. They keep the place clean. I have lived in the area for over 15 years and been going to this place and I like it better then Edwards, Silverado 19, Movie Tavern, Studio Movie Grill, I've been to them all, and AMC Willowbrook 24 is the best! read more

I would say that 10 out of 10 this is the best place in cypress to go and see a movie. The seats are adjustable lazy boy style with a comfortable soft leather. The temperature is always pretty good in there never too cold or too warm. You can also reserve your seats so even if it's busy you know what seat you are going to get ahead of time. I would say on a holiday weekend you are definitely going to want to get your tickets online in advance or earlier that day, I have had a few instances where they were 100% sold out when I went for a prime time slot. They also have a bar area if you're interested in drinking with your movie. The pizza that they have at the concession stand is delicious but also super overpriced as you would expect at the movies. I've come to this location many times and I am always impressed. read more

This theater is close for us. But Every time we go, i find the theater filthy. I had to look in at least 8 stalls in the bathroom to find a toilet not plugged up with paper. Napkins and towels on the floor. Trash cans overflowing. Same condition 2 1/2 hours later. Trash on the floor in the lobby area. Trash cans over flowing in the lobby. This place needs a full time cleaning person. Our chairs in theater 6 had the vinyl torn off in chunks. Row F 6-7. Always trash everywhere. If you want a cleaner environment. I suggest another theater. read more

Over the last few years this AMC location has updated their experience Every theater stays decently clean, seats have been replaced with recliners, and they added drink stations that you can fill up at without limits. I am not giving it 5 stars though for these upgrades. I am giving it 5 stars because of the real recently added IMAX theater. The IMAX theater they put in has the best sound system in the Houston area hands down. The recliners in the IMAX are also different from the regular theater recliners, and are much more comfortable! Definitely worth checking out a move in. read more

Movie experience is good, but they really need to get the seats reupholstered. I visited Screen 8 today and I counted no less that 8 seats that were missing part of the Naugahyde and not just a small part, some had at least half of the back uncovered. I've been in cheaper theaters with better seats. I applaud the remodeling several years ago, but the seats are not holding up. read more

I am giving you only 3 stars when I should be giving you 5. It's just sad to see that you're my favorite movie theater with the best seat. I truly enjoyed being a Stubbs member. BUT how sad is to see how ghetto is turning again. Bunch of kids in groups being disrespectful to adults on the waiting lines. A gentleman last was trying to take their attention because they were just taking people's space and they were bad and disrespectful. Fights, I have been seeing fights their lately. People in the corners begging for money marking their begging spot. Same man same spot for years. They really need security in and outside and to really secure the area not to be on their phones. Such a waste of such a beautiful movie theater. They really need to work on having more security and implementing consequences on those teenagers. Went to see a 3:10 pm movie on a Friday and there was plenty of seating. Very clean and the seats are awesome. Very comfortable recliners! Typical theater prices but the recliner seats are a very cool feature. All in all a good experience. I'll be certain to come back in the future. read more

Love coming to this theater! I've been coming here since it opened originally and the renovations they did are really great! The seats themselves are awesome - and the new drink dispensers are fantastic. Not to mention the new carpet through out and the better sound quality in the theaters themselves! Been coming to this theater awhile now, and mostly had good experiences. The audience are not too rowdy and the customer service are pretty good. You have to love the stadium seating, the reclined seats, almost perfect! The only complaint i would have is the concession lines move too slow. read more

We nt yesterday and saw Minions with my wife and 2 daughters. (5 and 3 yrs old) Comfortable large seats with motorized recliners. You can lean all the way back and stretch your legs out completely without you or anyone behind you bumping the chairs in front. You dont feel so awkward having to sit next to some stranger you dont know since seats are so large its basically like being a seat away in the old theaters. Loved it and so did my kids! read more

They have upgraded the seats and screens and have down graded their customer service. I actually got a stubs card and today the cashier told me it was worthless. I went to a manager and she told me that wasn't true and I preceded to wait 20mins to get it fixed. Spent almost $50 and got credit for nothing. read more

I love the new changes they made to this theater. Love going here for the comfortable seats! Unfortunately the waiting in line takes forever especially if you go on Friday or Saturday, if it's extremely full I'll usually go to the Alamo theater on vintage park, and getting food like pizza, curly fries, and other stuff may take a while as well. read more
